FoS and esthetics, shouldnt / dont have to be on any ''fair'' level. If you go to blizcon or anything you get like ingame pets + FoS, do you hear anyone cry about that? No. Im aware that costs real $, and the closed beta was just minimal effort and RNG, yet its just a FoS and esthetics you probably will never use if you get harder achivements anyway.
actually i was pretty pissed about the Paris invitational back in the day that gave out the Tyrael pet but never had that available at any of the US Blizzcons
Lmao that was the only pet I ever wanted when i played WoW, but fuck paying 2 grand for it on Ebay ><
Seriously ? Who cares? We got May 15th ... enuf said . Are U really going to get upset for a symbol ? who is going to look at your banner , really who ? Your gear is the only thing ppl will care for , so relax ppl .
I don't get it. What exactly is a feat of strength? It sounds like it's a kind of achievement but without being plastered in your achievement list?
It's an achievement that doesn't give you any points or in-game reward. It's typically something that's really hard to get or unobtainable for whatever reason.
Ahh but this FoS does give them an in-game reward it gives a banner sigil.

There's going to be a TON of sigils, and many hard to get sigils that people will covet even more. It's not that big of a deal yall.
A Feat of Strength is an achievement that is worth 0 points, and is generally impossible to get after they're awarded. Many FOS's give rewards (usually titles. Immortal, Undying, Insane, etc), so the easiest way to understand them is the main way of getting them is either removed from the game, or extremely EXTREMELY hard to do.
I don't really mind missing out on the Feat of Strength but, as a completionist for these sorts of things, it will bother me that there is a sigil that I will never be able to get. In fact there was no way for me to receive it aside from sitting and twiddling my thumbs hoping to get lucky.

Some people collect them, and they're being snubbed because this particular sigil will never be available to them and there was absolutely nothing they could have done to acquire it. It may not be a big deal to you because sigils aren't impotant to you, and you've been inthe Beta for a long time, but others do feel it is a big deal.
This ain't fair... many ppl, including myself, tried to get into beta but weren't lucky enough.
In the other hand, many tards that did not give a damn to the game got into.
It would be better to give this FoS to everyone who got invited to beta or logged on beta weekend.
And now, those tards who didn't care about the game might actually be interested in buying it and Blizzard has potentially sold more copies than before.
luck should be rewarded - and it WAS rewarded.. by access to the beta.
...logic. it's your friend.
You only foolishly presume it was mere luck. Maybe I applied for beta the moment it became possible. Maybe I participated in more than a dozen shitty contests around the internet just to get my key and experience the game before the others. And maybe I won one of them.
Take your biased logic elsewhere. There is nothing wrong with mine.
Maybe I entered into untold number of contests, maybe I also signed up for the beta the instant it was available, and maybe I STILL wasn't as LUCKY as you.
It still comes down to luck, no matter how you want to dress it up. There is something wrong with your "logic" - the fact that it ISN'T logic. Your reward was your opportunity to participate in the beta.
Maybe some people would've loved to have been in on the ground floor and helped Blizzard build this fantastic game, and didn't get the chance. And maybe those people feel a little slighted that the fact that no matter how hard they tried, no matter how many contests they entered, they didn't get into the beta. I never once complained that I wasn't in it, because it was based on luck, and I just didn't have any at the time. That's nobody's fault. But I should continue to be penalized for my bad luck even after the game is released.
It's not THAT big of a deal. I'm just saying it hurts a little bit. So piss off. You're wrong.
I got two betas, for doing very little. I don't really agree with this Feat of Strength crap, I'm actually against achievements as a whole though, I just don't enjoy them being used as a marker to judge other players skill levels, in any game. And this one is just so random, it's a pat on the back for being lucky essentially.
Although it wouldn't matter if they didn't give the FoS. They don't give it, (some) beta players complain (as they already had done), they do give it other people complain (this thread, posts on official forums).
People talking crap on this are just mad that beta testers get something that "they"(non beta testers) don't get. Beta testers deserve to be distinguished amongst other players, because without the their help and the time each of them took to report a bug or an error, the game would have taken longer to be released. So to sum it up,STFU THEY EARNED IT.

I'm not mad that other people are getting something I didn't get. If I was like that, I would've bitched when people got the beta and I didn't. I'm mad because there's an achievement in the game I am unable to get now. It's artificial. I'm an achievement whore. I never complained about the WoW anniversary feat of strengths because I could've gotten those if I wanted to. This is something I can't get ever and it's by no fault of my own.

Its like rubbing it in for those of us who didn't manage to get their hands on a beta key.
Blizzard logic, go figure.
