Seems like Blizzard is actually giving some kinda reward for being in the closed beta this time.

In celebration of a successful beta test, all players who were invited to participate in the Diablo III closed beta will receive the commemorative Feat of Strength, "One of the Chosen." For eligible players, this feat will appear automatically in the Feat of Strength list after logging in for the first time as well as unlock a unique sigil that can be used on character banners.
In order to be eligible for "One of the Chosen," you must have had a Diablo III closed beta license attached to your Battle.net account (it isn't necessary to have downloaded or logged into the beta itself). Please note that players who participated only in the Open Beta Weekend, but were not invited to the closed beta, will not receive this Feat of Strength.
Thank you once again to all of our beta participants. We look forward to seeing you in Sanctuary!
I wasn't in the closed beta, and I don't care about the reward for it, but to some it may seem unfair. Maybe a collector of some sort would of loved to be a part of it but never could. I can see them complaining about this later on.
I thought they said before they weren't going to do anything like this for beta testers. Hopefully you also get one for the CE so then I'll have 2 right off the bat.
Blizzard will never win with its playerbase. Beta testers are crying that their achievements don't carry over to the game without any sort of reward (until now), and the rest cry about not getting beta to get the reward.
Could you imagin if you log in and saw you had this Feat of Strength never realizing you had the beta this whole time.
Would be pretty funny but I disagree with them about giving it to people who didn't even bother to download the client or login. Probably didn't have a way to track logins during the beta though.
I don't get it. What exactly is a feat of strength? It sounds like it's a kind of achievement but without being plastered in your achievement list?
It's an achievement that doesn't give you any points or in-game reward. It's typically something that's really hard to get or unobtainable for whatever reason.
Simply being in the closed Beta (which I was thankfully ) shouldn't be enough. If they are going to give us a special Sigil, it should be given to those of us that received the OverAchiever achievement (which I did.) Not because it was hard to get, but because it at least showed that we actually tried to get the achievements. Personally I don't care about achievements either but because the Beta was limited it gave us something to do once we completed the SK.
I spent 2 weeks entering any contest i could find to get into the beta, i even altered my sleeping patterns to enter some of the overseas ones which gave me around 4 hours sleep over that time period. Not that beta access wasnt enough of a reward for my efforts, but I feel ive earnt a FoS for that...

sure there are things like blizzcon goddies that is verry limited. but obtainible by anyone (if they are fast enought ang have money)
this is just redicolus i tought that opened BETA, so that every one could have had a chance of getting a " i was in beta" style achi.
