Jun 5, 2012pskfry posted a message on SFJake's Whining Topic. Today: Blizzard's Broken Design Philosophies.Stop ruining the forum. I came here to discuss a game that I play, not why other people don't play it. If you don't like it why do you spend hours writing an explanation for why you don't like it on a forum? You know what i do when I don't like a game? I just don't fucking play it. I put it away and go do something else with my life.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Holy fuck you self-important, self-aggrandizing child. Go AWAY. NOBODY CARES. I READ 10% OF YOUR POST AND VOMITED.
Jun 5, 2012Look, another self-important clown thinks we give a fuck about his opinion.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
If he really was here just to let people know that they can get a refund if they want it (like some people defending the OP suggest) he would've posted it and left.
What a child.
May 31, 2012I don't understand... I get just as excited when I get a good drop (even if it's not an upgrade for me) because I know I can sell it and turn it INTO an upgrade for me.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Is your brain incapable of making that connection?
May 29, 2012lol... I haven't had a single problem logging into the game.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
i'm getting really sick of seeing all these completely idiotic posts about how the game is a "failure" or some dumb shit.

If I had a wife I'd just tell her to get the fuck out.
It's Diablo time.
And then you would no longer have a wife. And if you still had a wife after that, she wouldn't be worth having.

Oh, haha. That's my fault - sorry.
http://www.diablowiki.net/Barbarian I'm at work and B.Net is loading extremely slow so I can't find the blue post.
Actually, I think the blue post is on the wiki
EDIT: on a side note, I had to do some work in Excel for awhile and when I re-alt tabbed "The Order"s websites built-in PDF thing isn't working anymore. I was really into it.
It gets kinda fucked up every so often - just refresh and it'll work again, you'll just have to page back to your old spot. I got through the whole thing too it was awesome! Really conveys that Diablo feeling.

@Sexton, I also wanna know what became of the classes from D2. The Barbarian in D3 is actually the same barbarian from D2 according to a B.Net post I read. The rest - I dunno. I think the Soreceress is Isendra as you said. But being 20 years, some of 'em could just plain ol' be dead by this point.
First, my handle isn't Sexton, that's my forum rank (based on # of posts). My handle is pskfry, it's in the red bar above where it says Sexton. This confused me for a while too, don't worry.
Are you sure the Barbarian in D3 is the same one from D2? Source?
May 14, 2012It's as the poster above stated - Blizzard ret-conned the Dark Wanderer to being King Leoric's elder son, Prince Aidan.Posted in: Lore & Storyline
When Leoric started to go mad after coming to Tristram and having his mind invaded by Diablo, he sent his army of Khanduras on a march west to war against Westmarch. They were miserably defeated. Lachdanan, the knight-captain of the army of Khanduras, returned with the remnants of his army, including the King's eldest son, Prince Aidan. They quickly discovered that the king, Leoric (the Skeleton King in D3) had gone mad, and they killed him.
Prince Aidan then usurps the role of the Warrior from Diablo I, entering the catacombs beneath the Horadric Cathedral and eventually slaying Diablo. Convinced that he could only contain Diablo inside his own body (much like Tal Rasha did with Baal), he shoved Diablo's soulstone into his forehead, from which Diablo then corrupted Aidan's mind, turning him into the Dark Wanderer.
For purposes of lore, the Warrior from Diablo I = the Dark Wanderer, the Sorceror = the Summoner from Diablo II, residing in the Arcane Sanctuary and target of the quest "The Summoner", and the Rogue = Bloodraven in Diablo II, found in the Burial Grounds of Act I and target of the quest "Sister's Burial Grounds".
In terms of the lore, all three fought together to kill Diablo, but Aidan was the only one to absorb Diablo's soulstone. All three eventually went mad and had to be killed. Makes me wonder what happened to the Paladin, Barbarian, Amazon, Necromancer, Druid, Assassin, and Sorceress from Diablo II. Although I think maybe the Sorceress was the one in the Wizard short story from the reveal site, Isendra.
Hope that helps.
May 14, 2012This post makes very little sense.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
There is a big repository of enemy models currently linked in the most recent news post if you're wondering about the variety of monsters in D3. If you don't want to look at it because of spoilers, I can personally guarantee that you will see a very wide variety of baddies to cleave in half. Everything from demons to angels to zombies and skeletons - even demon steeds! And I must say, the boss models look fantastic!

From now, go get yogurt to pass the time, come home... I dunno, sleep, wake up and install the game and try to sleep some more so I can stay up all night.
a good plan. so i had seen your sig around the forums often and last night i went to see the avengers, and honestly until loki was in the room with the hulk in your sig i thought that it was captain america that he was slamming around. i'm color blind and it's small enough that the mistake can be made. i was totally waiting for some bad twist at the end to turn the avengers against themselves so that the hulk could smash captain america around but it didn't happen and i was glad of it
