After 5 pages we now know the good players from the trash. Cant wait to troll them in the future :)

Yep, you're in the trash column. Your stupidity != trolling. Don't care if I get infracted for this, you are way beyond trying hard for attention. Big balls posting from an anonymous account. Sick of the bnet children. I think I like the gold spammers more than you.

I've noticed the delay or lack of activation when DS is bound to a key. I've put it on my right-mouse click and have zero issues with it. I too used to have it bound to 2, and it would never go off when needed.

Thanks, I appreciate the offer! I actually hit 70 that evening; 67-70 is definitely the biggest pain in the ass. Unfortunately for now I'm relegated to solo because I'm using old hardware with low processor speed and have no comm setup atm.

Did you by chance hire a follower to help along the way? I briefly checked out your profile, and I didn't see any gear on your followers.

Wow. Let it go people (cough, cough-rucksak cough). It's a fucking video game. Who gives a damn if he did or didn't answer your question. You people act like he raped somebody or something.

I did let it go. Until somebody (*cough cough Bagstone) suggested that I continued to ask after the question was answered, and that was not true.

I was genuinely curious how MC would answer the simple question. why a person in his position would cheat and risk his account.

I did NOT blast MC in this thread, other than to call him a snake for answering a question by editing it into a post he made 15 hours previously, a post that wasn't there when I read it.

Why would he cheat? To be competitive versus other cheaters, its a multiplayer game after all. Do you need more explanation or you are just dumb so you cannot understand? Most of top D3 people exploited it, so to still be competitive he did it himself. Now stop being a douchebag and let it go.

To be competitive vs. other cheaters, haha. That is a glorious response. Telling people to stop being a douche while being a douche is a nice touch too.

Blizzard will do nothing, they never have in the past

People like you make everyone else look really smart. Thank you.

And for the rest of the doubters, it isn't hard for them to do lookups to see the huge discrepancies in blood shards to do a sweeping ban. If your profile shows it and APIs can display it, they sure as hell can and will find you for exploiting.

    Nobody will get banned.

Everyone is using that thing now. The chat is full of people asking for party for gob farm.

Do you think they will ban 30% of the players (made up number )? They will ban streamers?

cmon be real. Nothing will happen. Will be hotfixed and some will get lots of shards and lots of items and the others won't.

Edit: You have streamers doin it right now live, with lots of people viewing. Everyone will try and bring friend along. No ban is possible..

A temporary ban and maybe a leaderboard ban would be a solution.. a full ban wont happen

    MC just got banned...

    Good, one less teenage-angst streamer!

I think they need to keep them, but adjust them, and I am pretty sure that is what Wyatt will do, as he hinted in the tavern talk.

The goal is to have you do trials, but once you unlock say GR25, you can then use your trial keystone and turn it into any GRift 1-25 without running the trial.

I'd be totally great with that.

I have already said this on the Reddit comments (and as expected got many downvotes for it), however I think it's a good idea to give you a perspective of how much of an impact this exploit is going to have.

Most people seem to overreact whenever they hear the term "exploit" and say things like "this season is ruined" and / or "ban all of the exploiters". The truth is, none of these exploits had any noticeable impact whatsoever, and I say this from the point of view of someone who plays this game mostly to compete for rankings and deliberately chose not to use exploits because they were just not efficient enough.

If you look at the big exploits that we have seen in the past (most notably Malthael and XP in S1), you can see that there was always a huge trade-off involved when trying to benefit from these. During the Malthael runs you were not getting anything besides experience, and many people chose not to farm it because you would lose lots with regard to overall character progression, same thing for the experience exploit in S1 (where 3 out of 4 group members were not gaining any benefit at all). It's the same thing here: you can choose to farm a lot of blood shards (at ~2-3x the normal rate, while 1 party member will get next to no benefit whatsoever) or just farm regular rifts (where you will get less blood shards, but overall more drops, mats, gems and lots of experience). In the end, the blood shard exploit is likely going to be fixed soon, and those people that invested dozens of hours now will be behind in many aspects (most notably paragons and gem levels) while they might have gambled a couple of good items (which in the end is just a way to decrease the drop luck dependency if you want to compete on the leaderboards that are already subject to insane levels of RNG).

While I do agree with a good portion of your post, what I do not agree with is the "lost time" comment from exploiting instead of grinding rifts or whatever. In regards to the accused streamers, they are already 500+ PL into a season that's not even a week old yet. The time spent exploiting is just a fraction of time considering that they are light years ahead of almost everyone else in paragon levels. Their important gems are all level 50+ as well, so there really isn't any catch-up to be had.

I was in a few streams last night, and all I kept hearing was "Datmodz and Gaby are exploting scumbags." but the exploit itself was never detailed in the conversations. This would make sense.

posted a message on RIP Trials. Future Removal Confirmed

I didn't view the link, so I apologize if this has been addressed. I won't miss trials per se, but a lot of times like at the start of a new season, I tank trials on purpose to farm lower level ones to gear up. Like right now, I haven't had the chance to play much, and GR 26 is where I'm at. So what I do is get far enough in the trials to start at like 18, buzz through it for gear, get an upgraded 24 or 25 key, then do the progression thing all over again to skill up my gems when I can't go further.

I guess my TL;DR is that I hope they will have something in place to farm lower GRs than your max capability, because I do not care to always do T6 runs for hopes to gear up.

I'm having really good results so far with this - Inna's as weapon, head, belt. Rainment as boot, chest, shoulder, glove, pant. I have a 4.1k inna diabo so.. yeah.

For skills I'm using DS, EP, BoH, Epiphany, Mystic Ally, Fists of Thunder.

The double effect of all the mantras is kinda huge.

The playstyle is easy - palm, ds spirt empty, bol, punch a few times. Wash rinse repeat with epiphany/mystic ally active to speed up the mana regen. The thing I've realized that needs to be mastered is not running out of spirit and killing the DS charges. That leaves you with your pants down for 8 seconds, probably with no spirit, and probably soon to be dead.

I think this will be the winning combo regarding gear, but I don't think I'll be using EP at all. I love the spirit rune from it, but I think I'll use a defensive ability in its place. Punch stuff, be mindful of your DS charges, and stuff dies soon after. I'm still tossing up the ideas of using an Inna's daibo to get the 4pc bonus with a RoRG, or a FD/Furnace with F+R.

I loved my Sunwuko set, but the new Rainment's is some of the most fun I've ever had in a Diablo game.
