Myself, had it not been for mods, I would not have continued playing it.

posted a message on Should we have a seperate channel for all SICK members?
Splitting the guild is definately not something to strive for, but unless all the people in EU wish to play in between 4 and 14 hours ahead of the States, then there really isn't much to do.

So why, if I may ask, is Blizzard limitimg players to different realms? Surely it would be better if you could play with your guildmates, and when they go to bed (or before they wake up) you can switch to the realm closest to you. Pehaps there are some technical limits I am unaware of, but still why not?

Consoles are great in that you never have to deal with viruses, clogged up memory, reformatting, installation, up to date hardware etc... Just pop it in and play.
And perhaps the PS3 is a bit pricey, but cutting-edge technology was never cheap.

You've done exacly as you were meant to do.

That can imply a lot. You would think that Baal and Diablo knew that Tyrael would appear and that someone had to pull the stone out and save it, but if they could foresee the future I think Heaven would have been conquered by now.

What he means I think is that he became overcome with fear and couldn't destroy the stone. So he was "meant" to save the stone for Baal.

Alive! I haven't just got all day, I've got my whole life (very true that).

Well, I can except anything so long as I can smash new monsters whenever I choose. So no time-delay or anything. Instant-refresh is important, and whether that is acquired through a relogg or not doesn't matter.

posted a message on Should gold be important for D3
Yes, change is definately needed, but it is a fine line to walk, and many games fail in their sequels.
However, gold is an area that can easily be improved on without ruining the gameplay (if what you want is keeping it the same way).

Well, D2 is old, and perhaps its decline shows that all their people are working on somethin else...:)

He already said in another thread that he had sent them to Silver and Elfen, and whether it is true of not can only be confirmed by them. (or whoever else he sent it to).

posted a message on Characters/classes we want to see/be in Diablo 3
It's not about having many classes. It is about having a diverse selection that fits with the story and fills all needed places in the world. There's no point in having 5 mages if all they do is cast the same spells with different names.

posted a message on Diablo 3: Pay Per Month PVP MMORPG?
D3 is Diablo so long as the "feel" is still intact, and if they can preserve that through an MMO, then they most certainly will.
I think we can be pretty sure though that D3 will not be an MMO.

Aren't we all addicts? I mean the fact that we are constantly hanging around a forum that supports a nonexistent game speaks for itself ;)

Well, if it is only a site and not a forum, then an easily navigated site is always good. But just because it is easy doesn't make you want to return, there must be something for you to gain also.

posted a message on Diablo III Morrowind Mod
Well, Hellfire was made by Sierra, and both are owned by Vivendi, so that obviously solves that problem.
Using the names may be as much a problem of copyright, but I doubt they have Azmodan copyrighted, even if they can.
But hopefully a mod won't upset them too much, especially when it has only a few connections.
