then I would take it as a confirmation. -

Oct 29, 2006PhrozenDragon posted a message on Biggest Diablo 3 Information Yet!Posted in: NewsQuote from "AcidReign" »WoW makes TONS of money, and they can afford making it Mature.
"Hey guys, you want to make 1 billion or 2 billions?"
There is no such thing. If Blizzard can make more money and at the same time avoid the possibility of getting burned in media for too much violence, then they will. And that is the T rating.
Am I the only one on this board who doesn't think excessive blood is good? -
Oct 29, 2006PhrozenDragon posted a message on d3 on the way?I agree with Cyks. Plus, if they continuously announced everything, and then changed their minds, fans would be really upset. And that is something they don't want.Posted in: News

M = Means less little kids.
T = Too many little kids
That's also true. No matter the rating, there's no stopping them. And I don't really have a problem with it, so long as they refrain from acting immaturely. Which is perhaps too much to ask from most of them. -
Oct 28, 2006PhrozenDragon posted a message on Biggest Diablo 3 Information Yet!Yes, those ratings are often too high. I mean, what preents a 12 year old from watching a graphic movie at home? Nothing, except for the parents good sense, which seems to be awfully shortcoming these days.Posted in: News
T for Badlur's Gate? Alchohol, yeah right. You press a button and your character gets some negative effects. How inapropriate.
I also agree with the age. Not all kids are like that, but far too many, and they often lack common sense, courtesy, intelligence and general social skills, and for some reason have the idea that if you don't swear and attack all other players in every sentence, there is no point to playing. -
Oct 22, 2006PhrozenDragon posted a message on "Official" Diablo 3 PetitionWell, I can think of a couple of things, though I don't know if it will be appreciated by Blizzard.Posted in: News
One is to run in on Battle.net and post on those forums
Second is to run in on WoW forums
Chances are I think though that they will get locked by Blizzard.
Or any other Diablo fansite in general. -
Oct 22, 2006PhrozenDragon posted a message on Diablo 3 Fake TrailersYep, that was pretty crappy. First is just WoW, second is really just a bunch of text, and the third, well, I don't really know what the third is, but it's not good.Posted in: News

Though of course if Camelot releases Golden Sun for Wii, there's no question as to which I will buy.

I don't agree. If it is a full plate, it should look like a full plate, regardless of class, though of course the design could vary. But if I deck out my Sorceress with and Ancient armor, I don't wa't it to turn into a cape.
Tyrael is not corrupt, I refuse to believe it!!!
This keeps coming up for some reason
I don't know if I like the idea of mounts. If they can be implemented in a good way (not like in Sacred, for those who have played it) the ok. Otherwise don't bother.
I also fail to see why people have to be locked into the notion of Acts. I would vouch for a bigger and more dynamic world that is whole, instead of pieces of it that are unaffected by each other.
Well, both of these existed after a fashion.
Well, that's part of the idea isn't it, otehrwise it would just be firespells with different animations.
This definately happens, and the more points you put into a skill, the more the low-lvl ones surpass the higher ones. In some cases at least.
Other than that, I agree with pretty much everything.

And you also want to avoid the "bad" members (althought they tend to end up everywhere anyway).

Introducing two sides into the conflict, Heaven and Hell, open up for player conflicts. And human opponents will always be more fun to face off compared to scripted AI. But the core of Diablo is the hack'n'slash, the PvE part, and that part should still remain intact and expanded upon, but if the opportunity presents itself, then a heavier multiplayers aspect would be great I believe.

Nintendo were, so far as I understand, the losers of the last console war, but they're maybe getting at something here with the controller. We all need pioneers, and even if it goes straight into the ditch, they will have begun something that will hopefully evolve in the future.

Well, the warrior emerged victorious from the Monastery, adn there was celebrations and all that. But as Cain says (I think it was him), the Warrior became more and more drawn in on himlself, often awaking screaming in the night. One day he left, and after that the demons poured through.
That day he left must have been when Diablo finally managed to get total control over his host, since I can imagine a spirit as strong as a warrior capable of facing Terror itself must be strong.
Marius moste definately however fled from Diablo, as he says in the opening: "...and the evil from my dreams, followed me in my heels. How had he found me here?"
Then Diablo goes about to kill everybody except Marius. Obviously Marius was being chased. He was the only one to have any contact with Diablo prior to the first cinematic, and the only one left alive.
His purpose I think may have been a practical one. Diablo didn't exacly look friendly, and he wasn't very physically stong. A man to follow him would most certainly look as a servant of some sort during the travels, and would perhaps reassure other humans. This is hypothetical, as we don't really know how much contact Diablo had with towns and if such a helper would have been needed. But maybe Diablo thought "better safe than sorry."
Argh, if only Blizzard had named The Rogue Monastery "The Cloister" instead or something, everything would have been solved by now
