Whatever. Personally I can't imagine real fighters of good (as in not players behind a computer) could have a guild names sick, so I voted for simply SICK

Never heard of it Thasador? That is rare I must say. But I am sure you will find it to your liking. It's hard not to.

However, the PS3 has superior specifications. Its possibilities are high above the others. Yes, that was how Xbox was the first time, but they were new on the market with no famous titles attached to it. PS3 is however already established on hte market, and that coupled with its capabilities will tip the scales.
Though of course if Camelot releases Golden Sun for Wii, there's no question as to which I will buy.

A diablo-wiki would be fantastic, and would draw some attention to this site. Unless of course such a thing already exists. I myself have no knowledge however of how a web-site is made, so it is up to those who know whether such a decision would be benefitable.

I can't actually say. Some games that I should not like I do, and some games I should like I don't. But what I am looking for is replayability, massive content, great story and magic (yes I almost don't play anything that doesn't have magic in it).

Incredible. Am I the only one there who has never needed to buy a second copy? (Well, HoMM 3 once, but that's it)

No, they will begin competing with theselves. People playing WoW may switch, and the same amount of money will flow in for double maintenance costs. Double servers, staff and development costs. That is why they will wait.

I would rather have a few solid classes than a many half-bad. If that means 5, 7 or 4, fine. But make them good.

Whoa man! That is a quite massive list, and even though I did not read it all, I have some comments to make.

-mage type chars look like they are wearing cloaks rather than armor, similar to how they like when they aren’t wearing armor, (it looks kinda stupid when the only difference between a barb and a necro is their size)

I don't agree. If it is a full plate, it should look like a full plate, regardless of class, though of course the design could vary. But if I deck out my Sorceress with and Ancient armor, I don't wa't it to turn into a cape.

-Of course if tyrael is corrupted shouldn’t at least one of the seven player chars from d2 also be corrupted, they spent more time in the vicinity of the corrupted worldstone than tyrael did, and im not counting nightmare and hell, unless tyrael is corrupted thru having shards of the worldstone enter his body when he smashed it.

Tyrael is not corrupt, I refuse to believe it!!!

    a bit of entertainment (gambling/woman)

This keeps coming up for some reason ;)

-mounts to make travelling faster (may or may not be able to attack or be attacked if on mount)

I don't know if I like the idea of mounts. If they can be implemented in a good way (not like in Sacred, for those who have played it) the ok. Otherwise don't bother.

-bigger acts (act 2 and 5 size) with more internal stages like caves and dungeons

I also fail to see why people have to be locked into the notion of Acts. I would vouch for a bigger and more dynamic world that is whole, instead of pieces of it that are unaffected by each other.

    -day and night

-weather (ok so D2 kinda had weather but it only really rained in act 3), also lightning spells should do more damage in the rain

Well, both of these existed after a fashion.

-lightning spells to have a higher minimum damage, I hate it when its 1-5000

Well, that's part of the idea isn't it, otehrwise it would just be firespells with different animations.

-not really sure if this already happens but, 24 points into a lvl 1 skill, should do more damage than one point into a lvl 24 skill

This definately happens, and the more points you put into a skill, the more the low-lvl ones surpass the higher ones. In some cases at least.

Other than that, I agree with pretty much everything.

How would you go about that. Obviously it's not that smart to rush into some random D2 site and write:

    W00t!!1 Come t0 tEh 1337 siT3 for D3!!!!111oneone

And you also want to avoid the "bad" members (althought they tend to end up everywhere anyway).

Personally, I would love a Diablo MMO, if it was executed and constructed in the right way.
Introducing two sides into the conflict, Heaven and Hell, open up for player conflicts. And human opponents will always be more fun to face off compared to scripted AI. But the core of Diablo is the hack'n'slash, the PvE part, and that part should still remain intact and expanded upon, but if the opportunity presents itself, then a heavier multiplayers aspect would be great I believe.

Xbox I think once again miss the spot. Last time they were too late, now they're too early, and Halo alone can't hold them up. PS3 I said. They are established, have a big fanbase, and have some heavy titles to call upon, like Final Fantasy.
Nintendo were, so far as I understand, the losers of the last console war, but they're maybe getting at something here with the controller. We all need pioneers, and even if it goes straight into the ditch, they will have begun something that will hopefully evolve in the future.

    posted a message on Marius
Yeah I always had never really understood why Diablo pick Marius. Why him? I can see it from the point of the developers, they wished to have narrator and a way to save Baal and all that.

Well, the warrior emerged victorious from the Monastery, adn there was celebrations and all that. But as Cain says (I think it was him), the Warrior became more and more drawn in on himlself, often awaking screaming in the night. One day he left, and after that the demons poured through.

That day he left must have been when Diablo finally managed to get total control over his host, since I can imagine a spirit as strong as a warrior capable of facing Terror itself must be strong.

Marius moste definately however fled from Diablo, as he says in the opening: "...and the evil from my dreams, followed me in my heels. How had he found me here?"
Then Diablo goes about to kill everybody except Marius. Obviously Marius was being chased. He was the only one to have any contact with Diablo prior to the first cinematic, and the only one left alive.

His purpose I think may have been a practical one. Diablo didn't exacly look friendly, and he wasn't very physically stong. A man to follow him would most certainly look as a servant of some sort during the travels, and would perhaps reassure other humans. This is hypothetical, as we don't really know how much contact Diablo had with towns and if such a helper would have been needed. But maybe Diablo thought "better safe than sorry."

Argh, if only Blizzard had named The Rogue Monastery "The Cloister" instead or something, everything would have been solved by now :D
