That's because I wasn't trying to help the discussion. I simply don't see the sense in making another thread the same as multiple other threads all talking about the same exact thing.
Then make a thread about it. This is not the appropriate place to talk about that. Unless your an admin that goes "This is a repeated thread. Thread closed" then it's not appropriate.

It's almost certain they'll only reveal one class to us at Bizzcon, as they like to give us only tidbits and not spoonfuls of info at a time. The next one likely being the archer class. I'm guessing that the class will be like a mix between the Am and the As, using a bow for ranged attacks, and traps with maybe a pet for close range fighting, and the class being called Hunter, Ranger, or maybe Marauder.
Something tells me the last class, likely being a melee fighter with a shield, will be based around using enchantments for both offense and defense. Maybe having enchantments do damage or boost defense of the party, when activated and/or when they release, or something along that line. The name being Templar, Crusader, or maybe just Enchanter.
Well that's the one I'm actually waiting to hear about....half the fun of anticipation is constantly thinking about how you're going to play your class.
aye. i too hope its shooting arrows. because the ranged class is usually my favorite.. i want it to be kick ass. And i dont mind if it makes the other builds look bad cause im so used to the sorc getting all the glory. Thats the way it has always been. The sorc has ranged attacks just because of the fact that she casts her skills, and the sorc has made the amazon look like a panzy at times

You bring up a good point, I loved the Amazon but I was always a bit bummed her arrows didn't do that much damage. In real life arrows are devastating, if they don't kill you they certainly will slow you down. I hope they make arrows damage more pronounced and it would be really nice to see a gaming engine that factors in damage more accurately. If you get hit with 3 arrows or sliced open several times by a sword your attacks would become less effective. Of course in some cases more effective when adrenaline kicks in too, they could add an equation for that scenario as well. To me that would make battles a lot more interesting and it would be fair because it would go both ways.
I like Marauder. As a name. I agree with you it will be a Ranger/Marauder class....
I think the last class will be like "Cultist" or something.... We have seen them as bad guys in the demo.... turning into demons and attacking the Barby.

Hell why dont we just go on and guess that the last character will be diablo himself (sarcasm if you didnt get it). As much as you would like to dream the next character isnt going to be a cultist from the demo.
First thing i would like to add to this forum is there might not see a dedicated physical ranged character in diablo 3. I mean the wd's skill tree hasnt been released yet. Could have a bow and crossbow or javelin/blow dart branch who would know. So dont get your hopes up.
Second thing is im not too sure if we will get a class release at blizzcon this year so dont hold your breaths otherwise you might never play the game.
Third and last i really think the exorcist is not too far away from the blizzard staff's thinking. i reckon placing 20 bucks on it would probably see you win alot back but remember gamble responsibly.
While there is obviously going to be an amazon type ranged class, probably with some light melee skirmishing abilities, the name could be anything. My personal favorite is nomad, marauder strikes me as more of a pillaging barbarian-type warlord.
Other, if more generic, posiblities include bandit, ranger, or thief. But thief seems to have fallen out of favor since about 2nd Edition AD&D in place of rogue, which is already taken in the diablo universe. /$0.02
Truth be told I like the Witch Doctor alot right now and "If" a Cultist did show up I dont think I would be that impressed. Not so as much as my dreams are... they arent for the cultist. But just because I dont like that idea doesnt mean I dont think that blizz might implement it. But if you want, what if the the exorcist and the cultist is one and the same?
I looked up the origin of Marauder in Dictionary dot com. And it Said 'Rogue, Vagabond.'
So I think it still fits the pretext of rogue, ranger, ect. But I do like the idea of the term 'Bandit' as well. Thats gender neutral enough to put some merit behind it.

Agreed. Ranged is one of the three major Prime Classes in the old rpg games.

I think that would be a really cool class name; they could be almost like outcasts...that would be cool. Also like the idea mentioned about the WD having a blow gun...that would be awesome, maybe have like multishot or something.

You're very patient that you're unwilling to know the last character until the expansion disc is in your computer.
I'm not that patient.
You did.
You said you can wait for Blizzard to release the last character and the last character actually gets released during the expansion cd.

I know that.

I would say the Corsair.... if it wasnt already used in FFXI.
Hehe, Bandits would be a bunch of misfits? Or maybe have a Robin Hood thing going?
As an owner of a blow gun. I can tell you that it is really hard to even concieve the notion of a rapid fire.
