I think it will be a ranged class with some nature abilities, like creating roots to immobilize enemies and pick them off at range. Maybe even shapeshifting or summoning but the summons would be temporary animals or spirits.

I play city of heroes, and the game is such an absolute hell of particle effects, I'm pretty much immune by now.

whelp, it would look like we didn't get our ranged class after all.
I'm going for a sort of druid/amazon Trees:
    Ranged Damage
    Animal Companion
    Shapeshifting
The companion would be more powerful than the expendable WD summons, more like a hunter pet or the necro's golem.

    Martial Arts & Psionics

    and he represents Xiansai.

*Unconfirmed by Blizzard, but I'd put money on it.
Isn't the female wizard from Xiansai?

My bet is for a sort of light-melee assassin-type class, probably with paladin support abilities, maybe even some sort of zen archery ranged attacks.
Looks more Indian/middle eastern than Chinese/Japanese.

posted a message on Has the Tetris Inventory and Magic Find Returned?
This looks really good. The general "tetris inventory" still exists, and we still have only 40 spaces, but it would appear that all big items take up only 2 spaces and the little items all seem to stack.

It seems to find a nice balance between a wow-style inventory like they had earlier, and a more traditional "tetris inventory".

A bit meh on the return of mf, though. I think I'd be fine so long as no one needs to make a set of terrible gear with mf bonuses just to kill diablo 300 times so the right ultra-rare rune or what have you drops. Probably best if mf stays with the fortune shrines.

If that's the intent, that's better.

However, from what I've read, the author of the thread didn't make it seem that way. His description made it sound more limiting.

I don't mind having the trees completely open and having the abilities being open dependent upon the character level. That's fine.

I think blizzard said somewhere, maybe on one of the podcasts, that they planned on doing that. But all the screenshots and demos had the trees "closed", so I have no idea.

    Can someone please translate?

He's playing unreal tournament, screams at it for taking too long to load, it loads, he starts playing and freaking out while doing so.

The whole movie was staged. The kid was showing how anti-game activists in Germany portray gamers. Those same people got a hold of it and thought it was real.

Fairly well-known viral video that was big a few years back.

It would either cast at where you are pointing or you would hit the key then click where you want to cast.
I think i prefer the cast at pointer, though. more like diablo II and needs only one motion.

Hehe, Bandits would be a bunch of misfits? Or maybe have a Robin Hood thing going?
I was thinking more along the lines of a desert nomad/bedouin style bandit. Or an aiel. I would kill to play an aiel.

While there is obviously going to be an amazon type ranged class, probably with some light melee skirmishing abilities, the name could be anything. My personal favorite is nomad, marauder strikes me as more of a pillaging barbarian-type warlord.
Other, if more generic, posiblities include bandit, ranger, or thief. But thief seems to have fallen out of favor since about 2nd Edition AD&D in place of rogue, which is already taken in the diablo universe. /$0.02

I hope when you fight her and when your about to die she shoots out a spider web drags you to her bites your neck and sucks all the blood out then she throws down your carcass to her mini spiders and you get to watch the whole thing :D
If duriel did that instead of scooting around that little chamber after he kills you, it would've been totally worth it.
