I guess that just goes to show you how disconnected bigger gaming websites are to the actual gaming community. They didn't even have D3 on their radar.
I guess GT just thinks the only people playing games are the console kiddies. I guess that's why I never felt a draw to go to sites like IGN and GT.

I'm actually wondering what constitutes being a hater around here these days. I have lots of criticisms about the development of Diablo 3 but that's cause I love the franchise. I mean, it is okay to have criticisms, right? You don't necessarily have to be a hater then, do you?
Sure and your posts have legitimate points, I have a few complaints too. I'm talking about the noobs who are showing up and just ranting to rant. Criticism I have no issue with, people who go off and have absolutely nothing constructive to say are just annoying.

What do you mean "The real Cain's voice?" It is the real Cain's voice...Quote from EvilBeanz
i really really like the video...but like some plp said...it just feels like somethings missing...maybe the real cains voice idk...but i do agree awsome vid but just somethings missing...the blacksoulstone one was REALLY good imo (prolly cause it gave a lil story on what us "fan boys" dont really kno yet about....maybe thats why we like the black soulstone soo much?)
Right you are, it is Cain's voice and craftily done I might add to make him sound 20 years older.

Dec 11, 2011VegasRage posted a message on Diablo 3 Opening CinematicYou know what's awesome about haters?Posted in: News
They don't care, they can't stand it, they think it sucks, they aren't going to buy it, but despite that they still cared enough to come to Diablo Fans website to let us all know how much they just don't care.
Reminds me of kids who are forced to eat their vegetables, but because they fought so hard against eating them, they won't admit to their parents they actually like them. -

Are you kidding?!?! I'm looking forward to it more than ever! The amount of time it took makes perfect sense, they created a new physics engine, all of the 3D CAD objects, story board, acting, etc. That's a 4 to 5 year process for 38 developers (as was pointed out in the awards ceremony). I've worked in IT for 25 years in that time I have been many things from an engineer, SQL DBA, to a developer, and more. 4 or 5 years is about right for this kind of undertaking.Quote from Robiwan
You know, trolling and bad feelings aside, I for one am no longer looking forward *as much* after a 5 hour beta experience.
Blizzard are really crap at either making games or hiring people. Because more than one person who has played beta with me has remarked that they cannot believe it took four years to make.
I defended by saying its just a beta... We'll see.
And no release date? I'm starting to view blizzard as that bully/jock at school.

Oh my this thread has died, maybe if they get a new Diablo game released it will resurrect again.

I wish! The goblin dropped some purple items I went to gather before going through the portal but I accidentally clicked on the portal and did not get those items, but thought I would get them once through anyways. Then I was thrilled to be in there and went through one circular door and cleared it and had just opened a second door and then got disconnected and could not reconnect even with my password. I was bah!

Yes, yes there is forum for that
Was at the Palazzo on the strip the other day and came across a shop selling custom spirits, reminded me of bottles of potions, mana, health, and other elixirs in Diablo so I took a few photos.
Bottoms up

Thanks Ducha, (so busy haven't had time to check into the website in a while) I have no control when leave this world, but I can make sure I go out in same shape as the barbarian I'm prepping to compete in the Jay Cutler Desert Classic here in Vegas March 26th (it's a bucket list item for me) maybe I'll post a few images from that since I will be beefing up for that.
Sounds like you are taking courses on Kinetics and nutrition, that's very cool. With sports being what it is today there are so many directions and wonderful places you can take that profession. You never know, you may make out and retire early like my old roommate who started EAS Nutrition.

For those who may still lurk here...
I'm finally ready to show a before and after photo. In my 20's I was in athletic shape but after moving to Vegas I became almost immediately sedentary. By 2011 I was just 250 lbs of fat! I started having problems breathing and was up to a 42" waste-line pressing up against the next size up. A friend of mine had a heart attack and it got me thinking; I'm adopted and I don't know anything about my biological family's medical history. About two years ago I started going back to the gym but got serious about it a year and half ago with the inspiration of a friend who taught me to quit thinking like an old person. The first thing I noticed was my metabolism was pretty much gone even though I was working out 4 to 5 days a week thanks to being over 45. I had to change my diet along with exercise; the last year has been no easy picnic but ultimately worth it.
The photo on the left I haven't shown ANYONE until now because I was mortified by the image. After seeing a few more like that over the year, enough was enough, this morning I hit the scale at 202 lbs! While the overall drop in weight is around 50 lbs, I’ve lost somewhere between 65 to 70 lbs of fat while adding 15 to 20 of muscle. Beyond obvious health reasons, once you pass 45 you start to realize there is likely fewer years ahead than behind, so it really becomes (at least in my mind) a matter of life or death. I see too many people in their 60’s already hunched over looking like they one step away from a walker, I just can’t do that. I’d rather go out like Jack LaLanne did at 96 with all his faculties.

Yes at least once every two weeks I check back in here to see who may have stopped by and on occasion post a photo or two of something.
BTW I just got back from a government IT security conference from last week, and damn! The mice are winning the game big time now and it's very difficult for corporations to defend your personal information against. You can have all the technical controls in place and the sophistication of the social engineering attacks can easily undermine all of them. It's gotten to the point you need to verify every unknown person you get a phone call, email, or social engineering website message from.
