Or its a April Fools joke.
Quote from "PhrozenDragon" »There's still the concept of +All Skills and +Warcries (for example). Prehaps we will find items that only boost skills of certain skil-trees in the game? That would effectively have an impact and require different skill trees.
Heroes V uses a skill-progression system that is reminiscent of a skill wheel, with basic abilities in the rim, abilities with prereqs further in, and an ultimate skill in the center which was class-specic.
Quote from "Kenzai" »Not necessarily.
Firstly, the amount of skills would decrease as you near the center, and secondly, the skill in the center wouldnt be a part of any "tree" (circle third).
The middle one would be kinda like an uber skill i guess...
And i like that concept... Where is it from?
Quote from "StoneOfJordan" »Sounds to me like you would have alot of "fluff" skills on the outer circles.
Or you would have to jam in alot of mediocre passives. Can just see alot of unused skills to get to the center.
Suppose it could work but didn't blizz have that idea a while back and they dumped it?
Quote from "Daemaro" »Isn't the skill wheel the same as the skill trees except a wheel?

AS long as there is way to cut around the corners in a game people will do it.
I'd say the majority of D2 players out there use some 3rd party program.
Actually everyone who plays D2 cuts corners in the game to progress.

actually once you get to the point where you have the gear Maphack is not needed just join a Hell Baal bot runner.

Believe me it saves so much time.

An easy replacement would be to make area maps purchasable. For example you want to kill Hell Meph so you buy Durance lvl 3 map for 100,000 Gold. You have to buy it every game that you make. It could make Gold viable and you wouldn't need Maphack then.

Hunter would have range skills to go with Traps and some sort of Animal/Nature summon?
While the Ranger would be more of a Sniper incorporating Archery and Stealth.
I actually hope it is the Druid because they can really revamp that Class up to be more bad ass.

They are classic Pen and Papers and aside the first two classes so far taken from Pen and paper RPGs.
