A lot of my friends have always recommended the Steelseries Siberia V2. I don't have any personal experience with them, but a quick look at reviews shows me a great pair of headphones at a good price, lower than your limit aswell. I suggest you look them up and check a review or two!
This is High Quality Mic with only one job...being a good mic. Many gaming headsets fail here with shoddy sounding Mics!!
That is 91 dollars. but you get far superior quality for your money you can also refer to Gaming Headsets Suck - Make Your Own For $50 or Less. This video gave me the idea and helped me make an informed purchase.

I use SS Siberia V2 as well. The mic is garbage, but the headphones are incredible and very comfortable. They're roughly the same price on Amazon for mic/micless version and it retracts, so just get the cheaper one.
I also have the siberia v2, white with blue glowing ears. only issue I've found is some programs like league tend to kill my sound drivers if their client is buggy at the time. (for a couple patches, I had to delete and reinstall my drivers for the headset every time I logged onto my computer and decided to play it)
Before you go and spend a ton of money on a headset, I would get your hearing range checked first. The typical human hearing range is 20-20,000Hz, but age and other factors can reduce your range. It makes no sense in buying something like 15-25,000Hz headphones if you can't actually hear the tones.
I wouldn't recommend a razer headset if you do long periods of gaming.
I had a set awhile back, couldn't even wear them because after a few hours it became so uncomfortable. The sound was good, so if your not planning to use it for 3+ hours at a time it might actually be fine.
In terms of what I recommend, Sennheiser has some of the best headsets I've come across, and their pricing is fair.
Just a warning, if you have a big head or think you have a big head, don't buy the steelseries Siberia whatever. It's extremely tight and hurts your ears after a while.
I agree with the others above me that recommended buying a headset that is not from a "gaming" brand like Razer or whatever.

Hmmmmm sorry but i didn't have that experience. I wear glasses and belive me i have a big head. I'm 2m or 6,56 ft. And as an ex soldier i'm not that small sized. even my ear fit into the headphones.
If we are both talking about this headset:
then i don't know dude. I had a pretty bad experience with them. Maybe my head is really too big? LOL
I absolutely love my Sennheiser in-ears for listening to music while traveling, so when my old headphones (Creative Fatal1ty) broke after 5 years of intensive usage, I went for a Sennheiser headset. Ended up getting the PC320 specifically because it's supposed to have even *less* pressure on your head/ears than the Siberia according to all tests. Still, the first few weeks it really hurt. I found a workaround which was to artificially "stretch" it by putting the headset on a box whenever I didn't wear it... and now it's kind of okay, but still not perfect.
Looking back, I should've re-bought the Fatal1ty again (and I'm considering buying 2-3 of them just to have them in stock, especially since they're so cheap). It's like shoes - if you ever find a perfect pair, buy 3 of them (if they're affordable ;)). But to find the perfect one is really difficult. I'd suggest you go to a big electronics store and try a lot of them to feel what "fits your head". In terms of quality they're all pretty similar (unless you're an audiophile, in which case you wouldn't ask nor read this thread) and there's lots of bias and brand-worshipping (look at how many people are wearing Beats, which are probably among the worst headsets ever). If you have reference points, however, from trying some of them in a store, you will have an easier time reading all the reviews. For example, I've never tried the Siberia headset, but since reviewers say it's even tighter than the PC320 headset I know for sure that I wouldn't like it.
TL;DR: There's no one-size-fits-all solution, but everyone has their own preferences. Go to a store, try some out, read reviews, relate them to your experience, and make your choice.
My advice is to look for brands that have experience in making headphones, not ones that are making mice and keyboards. Look for Sennheiser, AKG and Koss.
The headphones I have now, I've had for about 4-5 years and they're finally falling apart.
I was just curious what headphones the community would suggest to pickup for Music/Gaming.
I have a price limit of about $90.
I was looking at the Razer Kraken Pro, it's a decent price and some of the reviews seem fairly positive.
It looks comfortable, specs seem pretty well for the current price, and it looks good.
Anyone have any negative reviews about this set or have any suggestions?

The Best you can do for yourself is not waste money on any gaming headset. Most if not all are trash, your paying for a brand instead of quality.
But I am not without solution!
Get a Pair of headphones. Mine are the Superlux HD668B Dynamic Semi-Open Headphones they cost $42.
Next Get a Mic. Mine is the AntLion Audio ModMic 4.0 Attachable Boom Microphone - Omni-Directional with Mute Switch it costs $49

I am using the Logitech G430 (blue) 7.1 surround set. They work like a charm and they cost something like 40-50 euro.
With the rest, you can buy beers or a presale key for Fallout 4 (honney bunny) when your Diablo 3 (wife) gets temporarily boring...

The Siberia V2 looks promising, I'll def. have to check it out.
Thank you all for your suggestions

Don't buy headphones from mice and keyboard producers. Go for koss/akg/sennheiser.

I would suggest the astro a40s. yes they are on the expensive side but ive had mine now for about 6 years and never had a single problem out of them.

I've used the Kraken forever and it's REALLY comfortable.
However I just upgraded to the steelseries H wireless (super spendy though, $280 amazon), and they're no doubt the best headphones I've ever used.
I'm using the Steelseries Siberia Elite Prism (long enough name for ya?) they're also a great headset i'd reccomend, even over astros that i've owned.
