VladDracul posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPI totally agree with you Djinn. The only people who want d3 to be anything like WoW or even more pussified then d2 already is are the kids who suck at the game, cant comprehend to either go to town or leave the game once hostiled because it is nearly impossible to kill someone on d2 unless they are so dumb they just sit out there, or they are to dumb to find people in chat rooms and make a private game. You people who blow that bad or are that scared, even after blizzard is making the drops go to each individual person you are the minority I must say, there are WAY more pvpers and PK'ers on Diablo then you kids could ever muster up in pussiness ok.Posted in: News

VladDracul posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPOk for all the people that are crying about TPPK, listen here:Posted in: News
TPPK IS A HACK!!!!!
It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to TPPK without a hack that auto tp's and hostiles in under like 2 seconds. So thus dont cry about TPPK, cry about hacks and make blizzard do their damn job and keep the game hack free. Dont blame PVP or PK it's not the games mechanic fault that some 8 year old kid has the ability to use a hack online vs you. PvP is fine the way it is now (Even as pussified as it is) the hacks are the thing that need to go which Diablo 3 better do. -
VladDracul posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPDiablo is the way it is now because of Blizzard. They let way to many kids hack B.net and do little about it. Now if they do their job like they do on WoW and keep Diablo 3 hack free then you don't have to deal with little kids using programs and cheating to win.Posted in: News
If both players have to agree to hostile then there really is no point in PK or widespread PvP at all then it just a horrible arena fight. Its the fact and ability of suprise that makes Diablo so great.
If they add that tab under create a game where PvP is enabled or you can toggle it in game then it could still have a little bit of suprise and probably still work out. They really can't look at Diablo as an only co-op game they to think down and dirty and make this PvP great so it stands out from the rest of the games like the other 2 have.
(Diablo 1 = Hello? Not even knowing hostile, lots of deaths for no reason and lots of fun, they had bounty hunters , PKK's, etc, that game had supreme PvP but obviously a little overboard for most)
(Diablo 2 = Hostile function lets you know people are hostile at you and gives you PLENTY of time to get to town with the added patches that disabled the hostile person to go in YOUR tp or take a WP right away, so no tears blizzard already pussified PvP enough compared to what it was, it can't take much more) -
VladDracul posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPFact in Diablo 3 everyone will have their own separate drops totally eliminates half the argument right there. People are crying because they lose items well duh you die so what, not like the other player can grab your items when he can't even see them because they are assigned to you.Posted in: News
Other half is its frustrating.. yea so is sitting there hearing a kid talk alot of smack and not having the ability to just say "You know what, you talk alot of smack now im gonna hunt you down and kill you and shut you up" PvP is what MADE Diablo 1 and 2 for me. It adds a realism that no other game brings. The PvP in Diablo is so much more then just dueling its unlike any other game out there. -
VladDracul posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPI really hope they re look this.Posted in: News
If they eliminate the option or ability to join a game and kill someone regardless of their opinion then I am gonna be very very sad with Diablo 3. One of the prime things about Diablo that I felt put it apart from other games is the fact you had the ability to make your own decision and you could hunt people down and kill them.
Very least they can do is make an option for your character to always be in pvp mode or something, it wont be the same but it will be better then horrible WoW PVP.
They pussify PVP in Diablo and I know ALOT of people are gonna be pissed so they better look into the game more then just a coop game. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Also you have 7 skills, 7 skills which I feel would be unchangeable within the arena so let's say you are a barb and don't have ancient spear or a ranged move...what do you do to catch the wizard who can safely spam spells at you across the screen. Even with ancient spear, if you miss how long is that recovery? Yea people ran in D2, ALOT, and it was a pain with the barb since you ate a shit ton of attacks just trying to get in but the fact that if you agreed to no healing duels like any good PvP'er would do then you just had to dodge and move till they stopped a second to attack which woulnd't happen in the arena since they would just keep running till the globes appeared. Again your theory is flawed.

I did not forget rejuvination potions which again, were manually used, it was very simple and easy to say don't use them. To say don't move your character over in that direction to not heal is a whole different animal. We would have to cut off a good portion of the arena to even achieve that which is stupid, if you fail to see this then again I repeat, refrain from quoting me because you simply cannot compete.
Also you ever hunt someone down in D2? Yea they are trapped but how hard is it to run and wait for a health globe to get full life? What if its a DH or a wizard...hmm they can still attack you and if you are a barb you can't just camp the globes cause you risk dying...so thus again we reward the player who should of lost for running, if anything I say if the player heals and still loses his game should just auto uninstall and his gear should shower off his character or he should be forced to always PvE cause he simply cannot handle PvP.

Easy fix to this is allow an option to allow pots or not then ill have no issues with the arena, till then it's like a waste of space to me and I play Diablo for PvP.

Diablo 2 had health pots which weren't allowed in any good dueling, if you don't pvp in Diablo then you simply won't understand. Going to town and healing were not allowed in any duel with significance if you did you take a loss. Also when you are low on health yea may want to play a little more cautious but that doesn't mean run away and try and hide till a health globe pops up so you can be like "YEAZ I R TEH AWESUM NOW CAUS I SUX N HID N NOW i AM R fUlL LiFzORS Wow!!!!" Why should we reward someone for losing a fight and running away till they have full life again and the other guy is left with what he had? Give your opinion on the matter but from what you type I can tell you can't PvP in Diablo and thus have no idea what I am even talking about or anything so refrain from quoting me.

Secondly 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 were all very very easy to make and change in D2 PvP.
And thirdly there are health globes in the arena which is really dumb cause it encourages running away and healing which shouldn't be allowed in an arena.
And fourthly there needs to be options within the regular game to duel
Also for you people crying about imbalances and everything why? PvE in Diablo has NEVER been hard, also they could EASILY implement a system like Guild Wars were skills react different in PvP and PvE thus they don't touch PvE at all and you guys can live in your carefree world.

Also hope they keep true to their word and don't try and balance it all like WoW where everything turns into cookie cutter heaven. Diablo PvP ran and still runs great without the help of Blizzard, we just need a place to do battle and well do the rest.
