Ok maybe I missed something in math class, but how do you bank in $2,560 a month making $8 an hour and only working 20 hours a week? Best Buy pays Bi-Weekly so at best at $8 an hour you make $320 a check, you get 2 checks per month thus $640...thats a LONG ways away from $2,560.

    Anywho back on subject:

As for SarenBow and your dislikes...
    Dislikes:
-no real party options - I have since played games where you can choose the way drop get picked up. Something like this would be nice even if not used.
    * It would be nice but it's Diablo...huge part of game is all about the loot, not about being cozy and friendly and giving gear away. About getting as much and as good gear as you can. I highly doubt anyone would use that.

-tough economy - Anyone else remember the all powerful SOJ! Yea in all my years of playing I never found one on any of my 9 different high lvl chars. No real solution here, playing with game economy is a case specific problem that needs to be monitored and adjusted accordingly as it progresses.
    * Um the SOJ was a huge reason that people even magic found. Diablo 3 NEEDS items that are so rare that it just makes people want to keep playing and looking for it.

-no booting abilities -if a PK came or a high lvl player was messing up my world there was no way to stop them besides closing off your world to everyone or hoping you have a char to PK them. A boot button would have been nice.
    * A boot option should ONLY be allowed in PRIVATE games, even then I would dislike it. The kids on Diablo would abuse that power so much its retarded. Only in Private games for the small selection of people who wouldnt abuse it. They should go back to Diablo 1 style online where you can only see games near your level but make it like 10-15 level difference if that.

posted a message on Pking is probably out. Bashiok comments.
Regardless of all the arguements being made by either side the fact remains this:

Diablo is and was nothing without its community, and its community started as pking / pvping people, and it better damn well keep going that route.

Take Diablo 1 for instance, I got the game the summer it came out so it was about 4 months old and know what everyone was doing? They were killing eachother! Why? Because thats what Diablo is really all about. It never was about pve or any of that pussy stuff, it is all about a good story line and then get to the real stuff and kill eachother.

Look at Diablo 2, how many people you see make pve characters? How many people do you see not hostile and kill people? Pk and PvP are ESSENTIAL parts of any Diablo game.
The people crying about PK shouldn't play Diablo, this is a mature game that is made by the community and if you take away the PK the community of people from Diablo 1 and 2 are gonna verbally ass ram you so bad you will think you are getting violated even when they can't because you were to scared they would kill you. So regardless if you wanna cry about PK and want it out, you are gonna get grieved, you are gonna get violated, you are gonna get pushed from this game because you simply do not fit the game that is Diablo.

Vhold you are right to an extent, the people who don't like PvP are playing a different game,
problem with the change is it feels like it might take away a key foundation that pretty much made Diablo for alot of people. Me personally I want the ability to have free pvp, obviously not like Diablo 1's pvp but I don't want arenas or anything like that. I have absolutely no problem dueling or anything and hope they implement a ladder for pvp but I don't want them to take away that key foundation of the feeling that you are free to do whatever you want. In Diablo 1 and 2 you werent restricted by rules, the game grew overtime the community really made that game what it was and is, if they keep putting rules in then the game will bust.

I am sure they will do it right now and compensate both sides, just a little hard when you know waiting 8 years and there being a chance they will totally screw you over.

posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvP
That sums up a bit of what I posted before people cried to much and got my post deleted.

Look people the pvp with Diablo 2 is bad enough as it is now, blizzard has lowered their standards and is catering to all of you people who suck at the game. They give you an unlimited amount of time to get away from ANY PK, they got rid of loot, they disabled hostile people to go in wps right away, they disabled hostile people to take other peoples tps, its retarded how bad they messed up diablo 2 for you kids who just couldnt cut it. Ill be damned if you crying kids ruin diablo 3, been waiting 8+ years for this game and you kids want to ruin it by crying and having blizzard cater to your pathetic needs some more.

Now look at it this way:
You people crying about pvp and pk, why not cry about how blizzard made monsters immune to cold or fire or lightning? It makes the game challenging and yea an immunity can cause frustration and ruin the game if you are going solo so why not tear it up over that?

Or here is a nice example I believe, for those of you who play Starcraft look at it this way:
No free pvp or pk on Diablo is like playing Starcraft online only you can't play eachother, you can only jump the computer.....now how fun is that? That destroys the game. Or its like playing Starcraft only you get to see your enemies at all times because it would be to frustrating to have an element of suprise in the game for some 8 year olds.

I totally agree with you Djinn. The only people who want d3 to be anything like WoW or even more pussified then d2 already is are the kids who suck at the game, cant comprehend to either go to town or leave the game once hostiled because it is nearly impossible to kill someone on d2 unless they are so dumb they just sit out there, or they are to dumb to find people in chat rooms and make a private game. You people who blow that bad or are that scared, even after blizzard is making the drops go to each individual person you are the minority I must say, there are WAY more pvpers and PK'ers on Diablo then you kids could ever muster up in pussiness ok.

Ok for all the people that are crying about TPPK, listen here:

    TPPK IS A HACK!!!!!
It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to TPPK without a hack that auto tp's and hostiles in under like 2 seconds. So thus dont cry about TPPK, cry about hacks and make blizzard do their damn job and keep the game hack free. Dont blame PVP or PK it's not the games mechanic fault that some 8 year old kid has the ability to use a hack online vs you. PvP is fine the way it is now (Even as pussified as it is) the hacks are the thing that need to go which Diablo 3 better do.

Diablo is the way it is now because of Blizzard. They let way to many kids hack B.net and do little about it. Now if they do their job like they do on WoW and keep Diablo 3 hack free then you don't have to deal with little kids using programs and cheating to win.

If both players have to agree to hostile then there really is no point in PK or widespread PvP at all then it just a horrible arena fight. Its the fact and ability of suprise that makes Diablo so great.

If they add that tab under create a game where PvP is enabled or you can toggle it in game then it could still have a little bit of suprise and probably still work out. They really can't look at Diablo as an only co-op game they to think down and dirty and make this PvP great so it stands out from the rest of the games like the other 2 have.

(Diablo 1 = Hello? Not even knowing hostile, lots of deaths for no reason and lots of fun, they had bounty hunters , PKK's, etc, that game had supreme PvP but obviously a little overboard for most)

(Diablo 2 = Hostile function lets you know people are hostile at you and gives you PLENTY of time to get to town with the added patches that disabled the hostile person to go in YOUR tp or take a WP right away, so no tears blizzard already pussified PvP enough compared to what it was, it can't take much more)

Fact in Diablo 3 everyone will have their own separate drops totally eliminates half the argument right there. People are crying because they lose items well duh you die so what, not like the other player can grab your items when he can't even see them because they are assigned to you.

Other half is its frustrating.. yea so is sitting there hearing a kid talk alot of smack and not having the ability to just say "You know what, you talk alot of smack now im gonna hunt you down and kill you and shut you up" PvP is what MADE Diablo 1 and 2 for me. It adds a realism that no other game brings. The PvP in Diablo is so much more then just dueling its unlike any other game out there.

I really hope they re look this.
If they eliminate the option or ability to join a game and kill someone regardless of their opinion then I am gonna be very very sad with Diablo 3. One of the prime things about Diablo that I felt put it apart from other games is the fact you had the ability to make your own decision and you could hunt people down and kill them.

Very least they can do is make an option for your character to always be in pvp mode or something, it wont be the same but it will be better then horrible WoW PVP.

They pussify PVP in Diablo and I know ALOT of people are gonna be pissed so they better look into the game more then just a coop game.

posted a message on Ads on front page.
I know there was a thread already about the ads on the front page, but I want people to see this and I feel more people would read a new thread then an addition to an old one.

Having ads on the front page doesn't bother me what bothers me and I am sure Blizzard wont find this very helpful is the fact that the ads are about hacks for blizzard games, gold buying sites, etc. Why are we associating ourselves with websites and ads like this that tarnish Blizzard's games?

I know if I was a game company and I had one of my main fansites advertising hacks and gold buying I wouldnt be to pleased and I sure as hell wouldnt coroperate with them.

posted a message on Finally the wait is over!!!
Ok ill end all this conversation about Diablo vs Hellgate. But you MUST keep in mind this is the ALPHA! Nothing is final! The differences between the games will pretty much be the same tho.

First off I personally am in Hellgate London's alpha, and chose to play as The Guardian (Paladin), The BladeMaster (Barbarian), and The Marksmen (Amazon).
Hellgate London is like Diablo in some ways as in the alpha so far we have a child named Wart and he has lost his peg leg and you must find it (Leg also has the letters 2.0 imprinted on his leg, maybe wirts leg 2?). We have a man who tells you information and is around you throughout the game much like Cain is in Diablo. Hell is unleashing upon the earth much like in Diablo it is.

Difference is the gameplay tho, as it is it's pretty much Doom 3 in an MMO style, Melee users are shit. You can get to level like 7-9 and be alright but then if you don't grab a gun and shoot like a pussy and run you wont last 10 seconds. Im sure they will fix this but as is like I said in Alpha it's all about the guns.

This is like Diablo by the character refrences, the fact you are fighting Demons, The inventory system is an updated version of D2, The skill trees, The skills, and the fact of something that I feel makes Diablo stand above most games is the fact you can take more then 1 monster at once, but thats also a con in this as sometimes to many monsters pop up and you can't tell what's going on.

Its not like Diablo as, it plays like a Doom game but in an mmo style. You run into portals and you are the only person there unless you have a team (GuildWars influence) you can run around the streets breaking some environments, jump, dash skill they auto give you and if you die you can either opt to return to town, return as a ghost and find your body at no cost, or pay to be resurrected right away. Now the healing in the game is good if you like PVP and were tired of kids healing because they have a timer on the health potions, but if your fighting monsters it blows badly, youll find yourself dying faster then the health potions can deliver most times. There is no attack rating as is, you swing you hit, the quests are abnormally easy so far (Go kill 4 zombies). No pvp is implemented yet, and it might not be unless you pay. And the game is not around only the people that pay, hell the game in alpha mode is still fun enough to breath fresh air in your lungs from all the bad games out there now, if you pay yea you will get more content and it will be worth your money but you can have equally enough fun if you don't pay.

I rambled on to much but its all true factual information, either way Hellgate London is almost an updated version of Diablo 2 and one that I feel will be very successful but nowhere will it touch WoW or Diablo 3. If Diablo 3 was even hinted or teased about I am confident it would crush Hellgate Londons whole marketing, much like how Blizzard announced their "uber boss" patch for Diablo 2 right after GW came out? They arn't stupid they are gonna wait till their competition shoots first then they will fire.

The gameplay so far is fun, and beats 98% of the games out there right now I feel but id honestly rather play Diablo 2, and thats just fine with me. This game wasn't meant to be a Diablo clone and I don't feel it is, it steps in a new unique direction and even tho I hate the guns the fact they got the balls to do it and are willing to make it work is great.
So to the people that think this is Diablo 3 you will be sorely hurt when you play this and realize how wrong you are, and for the people who think this will kill Diablo 3 you are a moron, no game out there can kill Diablo 3, And to the people who are guessing wether to play it or not I would it beats most games out there and if you hate WoW you will love this as like I said its almost like Diablo in an mmo style but with guns which is kinda a turnoff.

posted a message on Anyone ever played Nox?
I played Nox. My friend bought it for like $9 and I took it to play it ha.
Yea you can be a warrior, a sorcerer and a bard I believe and a few other things.

I usually played as the warrior and only got far enough into it where I killed the necromancer, joined the guild thing and was going to get the staff to kill the last boss with.

Great game overall, wish people played it online, I think it would of rivaled Diablo pretty good, would of lost but still would of been nice.

posted a message on How strong are you?
I am a little on the light weight end but not necessarily unhealthy, I just have an extremely fast metabolism. I can eat anything I want all day and not gain a single pound, so gaining weight is a bitch for me without supplements which I refuse to take till I hit my absolute peak.

Im told im fast all the time, I know in short distance running I can beat most and shooting for a takedown or punching im told im fast altho to me I feel slow. Dont know exactly why that is tho.

And about the leg fiber things, I would have to say I have short fibers as I have crappy endurance which suprises me for being so small and so strong, im more of a powerhouse for a minute or so then im out of gas for a bit type of guy. Makes boxing which I do as a hobby more of a challenge as I have to constantly stop myself and pace instead of running in and punching trying to get the KO.

Alot of people here have some pretty impressive marks, and I never knew about that fiber thing, explains alot to me haha.

    Age: 17
    Weight: 115
    Height: 5'8

    Bench: 235 (Pause press)
    Squat: 300
    Curl 1 Handed: 60
    Curl 2 Handed: 100
    Military: 135
    Incline: 165
    Decline: 245

    Now:
    Age: 19
    Weight: 125
    Height: 5'8

    Bench: 215
    Squat: Who knows, prob 200-250
    Curl 1 Handed: 50
    Curl 2 Handed: 90
    Military: 125
    Incline: 135
    Decline: 220

As you can see I quit working out as much as I used to, I did alot of heavy lifting and went for the maxes so I had terrible endurance. Now I got a decent workout im trying to get into that works both rather well.
