i'm still having trouble understanding that post; so me only being able to play a few hours a day a few times a week and on weekends if i'm lucky once i hit inferno i'm going to hit a wall unless I throw everything i have into playing this game... so i hit inferno can barly do it get frustrated and move on to something else. Do that with all 5 classes and just wait for expansion? because i hit that "brick wall" but still want to get as best of gear as possible to satisfy my e-penis?
No, the thing was that insane players wanted an awesome increase in difficulty for Inferno, which would've made you hit said brick wall. But now the difficulty will increase gradually. From what I gather.
Very much this. As it looks right now, if you are able to complete Act 4 in Hell, then you will be able to continue completing Act 4 Hell until you have enough gear to compete in Act 1 Inferno. It doesn't matter if this process is made shorter or longer by your playtime
Not trolling, if you think I can't hit 60 in 2 weeks and clear inferno with 2-3 other Diablo vets you are clearly trolling. 60 in this game is like 80 in Diablo 2, and add the fact with a little bit of grinding you can be 60 at end of Hell so...pretty much guaranteed to be 60 by inferno within a week and give me a week to work out the kinks there and finish it.
Play level 1 to 80 with no mf farming, no help from friends, no mules, no 3rd party sites, get every WP, no Baal runs, no chaos runs. Just play from 1 - 80 with none of that cheap shit. Takes longer the normal few hours it takes now a days.
all i'm saing is that your excitment over monster level based just on the number 65 means nothing considering we don't even know how its gonna work out, they are going to be harded then lvl 61 thats for sure
It's also about monster attributes but think for a second... 5 levels above you. If you played WoW, imagine trying to dual a level 65 pimped out char vs. a 60, it’s HARD. Now that one 65 your trying to dual became a pack of 12.
EDIT: On topic, love the news but I never doubted it in the first place.
So many haters in here haha.
If you read what I said, it is pretty obviously that my odds of success are relatively high. Unless they made this game so hard that it is simply impossible to proceed without the godliest gear.
Because I will be running the game for 2 weeks pretty much non stop for at least a week with 3 other Diablo vets, 4 player games with 3 barbarians and me as monk. Now if I was doing it by myself, yea probably take me a little bit longer, however I still am sure I could do it within a month tops solo from fresh. But we will see 2 weeks in when I post screen shots and you guys are still stuck on Act 4 normal somehow and level 50+.
We could only assume with the little bit of information that was given. And it sounded like it was nerfed, that's just logic, so go ahead, blame logic, or Blizzard...
It did not sound like it was nerfed. There was nothing about that language that indicated that they toned down the difficulty of any part of Inferno. The reason everyone got their panties in a bunch? Because people assume the worst, often times. This is all a big example of people making an ass out of themselves on the internet by assuming things. So, blame that old adage.
Too much speculation going on here everyone.. Just wait and play the game. Enjoy
Besides whoever thought it was nerfed is a moron.. That just makes no sense
Anyone else happy about the clarification on Inferno difficulty progression?
On another note...
Anyone else also pleased that Blizzard's internal "bets" think it'll take us months to complete?
All good signs imo.
