Since season 2 i started on seasons, but for aseason 6...after 2.4.1 unless they do something with another set or two theres nothing of interest to me really. SWK is a joke, IK is a joke, akkhans is a joke, rolands and seeker are too weak. It will be NO different than season 5 other than the vyrs/fb hyrbrid which is stupid too,and invoker/akkhan hybrid Blizzard can't even make it so people use full sets, same with ik/reakors, wtf....
Other: I'll do the journey (for tab and 'best' portrait) and then stop playing D3 altogether.
As pointed out, the changes in S6 are minimal. I'll come back next time there are major/core changes or new content. Just shifting the meta/balance a bit is not enough to "refresh" the game for me.
Not that this is a bad thing, I've put a bit over 1k hours into the current state of the game. Think it's pretty normal to have had enough of it, lol
Going to get the stash tab then lay off for a while . Logged in like 2 or 3 times in the last 4 or 5 weeks and ran like one rift each time , and I started late in the season too . It's just not doing it anymore for me . Just do not want to miss out on grinding for that stash tab that should have been free tbh .
Are you going to make a sprint for the stash tab or are you even going to skip that?
-Still no idea
What did you play in the previous five patches (season or NS)?
-Softcore season
What's your reason to play season or non-season in 2.4.1, respectively?
I will get the set on a hardcore character, so i can try to start playing on hardcore
What factors are most important for your decision (what streamers do, what your clan does, what your friends list does, where the perceived majority of players is, where leaderboards are easier to reach/more contested, or what this poll tells you ;-))?
Hi guys! First great thread Bagstone and second sorry for my bad English (didn't speak it for eons).
I voted for second option and there is two reasons for that. First I like those cosmetics (portraits, pennants, pets...), played last 3 seasons for those and I like seasonal journey. Second reason for season is paragon thing (I hate it, personal opinion), we have chance to start fresh and chance to play. On NS i can't find group for my chars because we have 2500+ paragon guys who don't want to share space (All my vanilla friends quit game). I am old Diablo player (my 1st ever game was Diablo 1) played a shit load of D2 but that was at 18-19 years. Time changes and can only play 2-3 hours daily, maybe. So I focus on SJ, clear last 2 and then i do something i find interesting. Right now I play D3 for those achievements.
I watch some streamers but personally i don't care what they do. They have all the time to farm paragon and push. Most of clans nowadays are paragon requirement so this season i changed 3 clans with no luck finding group. Like previous guy said having fun is the highest of all and that's how I play, search for something that will keep me with this game and make me happy from time to time...
I really LIKE seasons. I will play season 6 too but I also will play with my NS account aswell. I have my own target to reach GR-90 with all 5 classes on 2.4.1 patch. From there on I will see if I will be able to keep playing but my main aim as I said to reach GR 90 with all classes
Just like othee seasons. Pick some portraits and pets and leave...
Are you going to make a sprint for the stash tab or are you even going to skip that?
No. if i get it, good. But it isn't my objective.
What did you play in the previous five patches (season or NS)?
No season at most of time. Never get paragom 400 in seasons before...
What's your reason to play season or non-season in 2.4.1, respectively?
Season: Cosmetics. Non-season: Have a fun and friends.
What factors are most important for your decision (what streamers do, what your clan does, what your friends list does, where the perceived majority of players is, where leaderboards are easier to reach/more contested, or what this poll tells you ;-))?
Have a fun time with my monk. I love to play as a monk. Some times i try my wiz and DH, they are secondary to me. Crusader never, Barb only if it is impossible to play as monk, WD sometimes.
I like to watch streamers sometimes, but they dont dictates my playtime. Most of time I play solo, but I'm online on TS with my clan, and when they need me I go most of time. I have tons of friend here too, and when I cant play, sometimes I log in just to chat with them. If you guid yourself by numbers will get a problem as seasons have too much players as they start, but it drops a lot after a month or two.
Im struggling to even see a reason to play diablo anymore. What new did we get in this patch ? nothing. S6 will be more or less a repeat of s5. They could have just gone with a 6 month season and skipped s6
You wrote that people who play seasons are either retarded or like to punish themselves by starting over and over and over again. The tone of your post was "if you don't see my point, you are mentally challenged pleb". Not many arguments in that post.

I'll play season for a while, but I won't stay there permanently.
Are you going to make a sprint for the stash tab or are you even going to skip that?
I'll play season until I get the tab. Then the season is over for me.
What did you play in the previous five patches (season or NS)?
NS, until the patch 2.3. Then I did UL monk until 2.4. Then I did thornsader until I got the tab, then went back to NS.
What's your reason to play season or non-season in 2.4.1, respectively?
The only reason I'll play season is the stash tab.
What factors are most important for your decision (what streamers do, what your clan does, what your friends list does, where the perceived majority of players is, where leaderboards are easier to reach/more contested, or what this poll tells you ;-))?
The stash tab was the only tipping pointing in my decision. I would be all NS if it wasn't for the tab.
I plan on having at least 1 of every class in non-seasonal. I played DH in seasonal for season 5. As a result, I'll be playing a seasonal Crusader and continue my non-seasonal DH's during Season 6
Are you going to make a sprint for the stash tab or are you even going to skip that?
I won't make a sprint for it, but I'm going to get it. I always finish season journey.
What did you play in the previous five patches (season or NS)?
Always season
What's your reason to play season or non-season in 2.4.1, respectively?
Always season. NA server has no nonseason. It's a wasteland. Top ladder for sc/hc on nonseason would barely even make ladder on nonseason. It's pathetic. I think completing like GR 30 or something gets you on leaderboard for HCNS solo for most if not all classes. I have a few nonseason clan mates, and whenever they complete a GR people are like "GRATS FOR HITTING TOP 6 ON LEADERBOARD" or whatever. But come on. That top 1 or top 5 or whatever is like not even top 100 for nonseason, and you've had WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more time to farm gear, exp, mats, gold, etc. No grats for that pathetic crap.
What factors are most important for your decision (what streamers do, what
your clan does, what your friends list does, where the perceived
majority of players is, where leaderboards are easier to reach/more
contested, or what this poll tells you ;-))?
The most important factor is something to do. My main goal in every season is to complete the conquests, journey, and achievements. My secondary goal is to get one hardcore and one softcore character on the solo leaderboards. Player base is a small factor. Conquests are season-only, so that's sort of the bottom line for me.
Are you going to make a sprint for the stash tab or are you even going to skip that? Stash tab all the way!
What did you play in the previous five patches (season or NS)? Played all previous season
What's your reason to play season or non-season in 2.4.1, respectively? Stash Tab and fancy character boarders
What factors are most important for your decision (what streamers do, what your clan does, what your friends list does, where the perceived majority of players is, where leaderboards are easier to reach/more contested, or what this poll tells you ;-))? Unique rewards for participating in seasons. If there were no rewards, I would not participate. The coveted extra stash space has actually pushed me further last season that I ever went before.

1) I'll definitely play till I have the stash tab. I fizzeled out when I got it this season, but the conquests are easier and less time consuming for S6, so I'll probably stick around to complete the journey this time.
2) Played every season to get the rewards, always play WD. I've played increasingly more the last few seasons, since the content was more fun and the progression stayed meaningful for longer.
3) Always play season, it's just fun to start over and have that winding road through the different gear and builds again till you hit the end where you stop progressing mostly and just push with your main build to get results.
4) I only look at what I feel like doing, and what 1 or 2 friends are doing. But the basics for all of us are the same, we play together when we're online, and we play seasonal cause it's more fun. Classes we play are more fluid. I always pick WD, others play different things sometimes. We don't hold eachother back in that regard though. We don't really chase meta group compositions or anything.

For me, it is "I hate being at the end game wall, but I love the process of getting there" Which is why I will always play seasons over non-season.
Double post, sorry
Seasons. DH. Love it.

Getting stash, then will play very casual ( 5 hours / week at most ).
With the enevitable power creep it shouldnt be too hard to do most of the achievements mentioned until they would introduce torment XI++
I will play until Overwatch is out at least. Clear 90+ solo after a couple weeks and then be ready for Overwatch.
Now I just wish D3 had super short seasons like 2-4 week seasons. Those would be so fun.
