posted a message on Scrapped D3 expansion?

That's what you all get for bitching and moaning about the Auction House just because other people were doing it. Now we all suffer with no expansion because of Blizzard's lost revenue. I've been preaching it since day one. AH was not a problem and wouldn't be a problem even now. The problem from day one was Blizzard's idiotic decision making. I remember reading about how they wanted Inferno difficulty to take TEN YEARS to gear for WITH the existence of the auction house. So they made their loot drops shit with no guaranteed stats or smart loot of any type because they wanted us to take ten years to grind for gear for Inferno NOT because the AH was there. The AH merely became a scapegoat for everything because the sheep of the public masses kept bah-ing anti-AH sentiment.

Think about it. If the AH was to come back RIGHT NOW AT THIS SECOND, what detriment would it bring? You can still find your own loot. Set pieces and legendary pieces you find will still usually be rolled to your class. But those near upgrades that the vast majority of players would do anything for but are nothing but a Forgotten Soul to you could actually be of value. You can now trade/sell/whatever those items for a tangible medium (gold? real money? either way) and use that medium to get you what you really need.

AH didn't make D3 pay to win. The lack of any other means to get items made D3 pay to win. Reliable self-farming options without a ridiculously idiotic ten year grinding goal was the solution to the problem. AH could've stayed.

posted a message on Non season players get kicked in the....AGAIN

No one cares about nonseasonal players. Your completely empty leader boards are indicative of that. Blizzard sure as hell doesn't care. Why should they? There's no demand. If you're not going to sack up and go seasonal like the rest of the player base, at least don't whine about not getting what you want for a dead mode!

That's like if I sat here and complained about lack of support for Diablo 1. Blizz I can not believe you are not releasing constant new updates for Diablo 3 vanilla. Vanilla D3 players getting kicked in the ...AGAIN.

Your best bet is to go to a online lobby, see who has one and then friend request them and ask. It's the only way to get them via someone else - it can only be sent through the mail - which you need to be friends with.

Btw - those specific ones I believe are account bound - so if they send you, they may or may not be modded with affixes.

However, the cosmic wings and such are not account bound - so they shouldn't be modded with stuff.

i think all wings are account bound.

if you bought a version of the game that comes with wings and dont have them, first check your in game mail. that's where they appear. if they're not there, submit a ticket to blizzard.

if you bought a different version, you have to upgrade if you can. im not sure if you can still get the vanilla d3 collectors edition anymore.

All the preorder and special versions are all account bound. The new wings for the 2.4.1 (or whatever the number is for consoles) patch can be sent to friends via mail. Like I said, there are mods who've unlocked them so they can still be sent through the mail. I have like 5 or so different ones.

oh im on pc. i am unfamiliar with the wild world of console d3.

posted a message on Conquest - some advice please
    Quote from Bagstonego-next

Some good advice, Snowflakez. Just two points:

    1) For the TX in 2 minutes, the two main points are to have a dedicated "porter" who leaves the rift at 90% completion to instantly talk to Orek when the RG dies (saves 10-15 seconds) and most importantly, when you have the "open rift" don't loot. Just pick up no loot until the RG is dead, it'll speed up your run significantly.

    2) Curses is more difficult than Boss Mode. Both solo and in group.

For example, check out Wudijo's video of their rank 1 conquest streak: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX6zluYxTR8

They complete Boss Mode at 22:09 with more than enough time left ("we should've done it earlier"). At the end they go straight for the Curses conquest (you can hear him say "everyone goes in their own game looking for the chest"), but don't get a close attempt until 40 minutes later and it takes them 1.5 hours until they get it.

I'm not saying Curses is incredibly difficult, but Curses can definitely be failed and needs some thinking. Boss Mode is really hard to fail once you're paragon 400+ and virtually impossible to fail in a group at any paragon 200+.

decently geared people should be able to solo carry tx in 2 minutes in a pub game on a good map while still picking up legs and dbs. i think the single most important thing about this one is fishing for a good rift. also, it doesnt take anywhere near 10 seconds to tp and run to the guy. maybe 5 seconds?

cursed peat bounty is a bitch to find. running to find the event without bounty is a waste too. just check your game everytime you join/make one instead. or join a bunch of comms.

he is my RL friend, we play together since release and he got banned for no reason , we never used thud, bots, exploits ,not even a macros on numpad stuff, we were in all clans together and he got banned for boting, he wrote tickets today and still they said he did bot , it's stupid decision to kick him after 10 k + hours in this game
tell him thats what he gets for being a cheating scum and botting. also tell him to stop lying to his rl friends.

google it. it was something like get her to spawn some, kill a few, get her to 25% hp, kill a few more, then hope she spawns the remaining ones you need in time. like you kite around until you have 8 or 9 then get her to low hp and she might pop out the remaining ones.

posted a message on How do you not get bored of diablo

If you guys get bored in only a few weeks, its safe to say one or more of these things:

    not pushing leaderboards

not playing hardcore (the only way to play really. there is an actual sense of connection to your character when you actively try not to die)

    not pushing leaderboards in hardcore

dont care about achievements (this season was a bit too easy actually)

dont care about set dungeons (last season technically, but i waited for this season to finish them off)

dont care about cosmetics (if you found cosmic wings already, i hate you.)

honestly, if you dont care about ALL of these things, i dont really know why you play diablo at all. that is all there is to do. personally, i hate grinding for exp. i dont think ill ever do that. i do some group GRs every night to get some exp and level gems for augmenting or backups (hardcore). then i play some hearthstone/overwatch. usually it takes me a lot longer to finish the achievements than it did this season. ive basically lost hope in finding cosmic wings. im going to push solo like crazy until i die when season nears its end. rinse and repeat next season.

posted a message on What are the benefits of Season 6.?
    Quote from Bagstonego-next

There are no benefits besides the ones you mentioned. If that's not enough for you, play non-season after getting the stash.

The main reason why people enjoy season is the fresh start. If that doesn't work for you and you need additional incentives, then non-season is exactly what you want to do.

I don't know what the MAIN reason why people enjoy season is, but top TWO are probably fresh start and, very importantly, a larger player base and more competition.

Nonseason communities and leaderboards are a barren wasteland. Normally, top 100 on nonseason leaderboard would barely even make top 1000 on seasonal leaderboard despite huge paragon/augment/item advantages.

    Quote from Cyberdocgo-next

For the stash, then back to NS.

One thing I do not understand is the seeming obsession with the cosmetic hoarding this season (haven't played NS so not sure what the momentum is over there).

Essentially, they do absolutely nothing however people seem to flock to them like they're the new found BiS item of all time. Sure, it's a new pet or transmog or whatever, add zip zero ziltch for making the game better. I have 4 pets now, why get more? Every single one you have does exactly the same thing (pick up gold). If one type gathers gold, another gathers globes, then of course get them all and use for your situation\needs of the moment. Couldn't care less about the wings or pennants, they are just in the way and distract (ie gold wings from pre order ROS). Portrait frame? Sure, show your level of completion in the season or if you bought OW, completed lvl 70 in old seasons or hit level 20 in HotS.

I think this sends a message to Blizz that crap content patches are awesome and no new real worthwhile additions are required if people will accept crap as the new best thing since sliced bread. I remember when Seasons was about getting new items ahead of NS, this was a great concept.....

Perhaps I am gravely mistaken however it's what I currently perceive.

Diablo is a loot game. When they add new loot, people want it. Good gear is getting too easy to get. There are only a handful of things to do per season: get achievements, grind exp (upgrading gems for augments at the same time), push solo GR towards the end (or before you quit).

Farming cosmetics is a good break for people who are bored and/or are hoarders. GIVE ME COSMIC WINGS ALREADY!!!

Yes, Quin currently has a deal with Curse Voice and DiabloFans is part of the Curse network. ...Did him having that deal influence the decision to choose him for that build guide? Sure

Alright! I don't like it, but I accept and understand it. We all have to take care of our own.
