Ehmm, you are reading it wrong.
MF increases the quality of loot (so you will see more legendaries) and affixes (so you will see more 6affix rares). You should take a look at: http://www.diablofans.com/topic/57939-magic-find-and-its-efficiency-a-statistical-insight/page__pid__1048507__st__960#entry1048507
Also, you changed my entire message, that isn't really nice ):
Sep 25, 2012The advantage of MP is:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
1) You can get challenging content if its currently too easy and you play these kind of games for a challenge
2) If you are vastly over gearing what you currently farm, you can turn up the difficult for more MF and XP. This will result in a higher efficiency if that's what you are focused on.
And the unofficial advantage
3) Blizzard doesn't need to listen to QQ anymore about the game being too easy.
Sep 25, 2012Ill try to expain you a little about where the problem actually is:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
1) Your survival
You currently have 3.3k armor and 200 AR, which is an effective 5.3k armor. Monks and barbs usually have 7-8k armor (which alone is more survival than what you got) and 800-1000 AR, resulting in as much as 18k effective armor.
Drop some HP (60k is too much TBH) and get some more AR and even armor.
2) Your logic
You think that monster level 10 is a "must" but its simply a difficult you choose, if you can't handle it then you will need to go for a lower difficult. Unless you got extreme DPS you wont really experience the need for monster level 10 anyway.
3) DH's gear
It is not weaker, what you want is to wield 1.5 2h weapons. Getting bows and xbows buffed to the lvl of 2h weps would also make it impossible for you to wear a quiver with your bow/xbow in order to balance it.
In addition, rings and amulets can have enough stats, look at this:
Sure, it will be expensive, but what you complain about is actually that perfect items are expensive, and yes they are because they are rare.
So please don't come here to whine over DHs being bad, they aren't.

Quote from BenedicteIt's not like the archon spell, you can't "add" time, it's just refreshing the time left you have on it. At the end of the pack he will go back to normal after a few seconds.
To keep Archon up, you need a constant Killing Flow.... Baba doesnt have that problem, they rely on Crits for Fury Gain.
Try Playing a Archon Sorc in Singleplayer right now... it gonna works perfectly fine.
Play the same Sorc in a 4 player Game solo... you wont have much fun.
And thats how it gonna be in /player 10 for sorc....Mobs simply have to much HP, you aint killing fast enouth, and Archon runs out all the time.
He was simply informing uneducated lil me
Not trying to say it was unfair that it didnt happend like it happends for Archon's ^^
Thanks Benedicte for informing me, I still have lots to learn

Pretty disappointing, especially after Diablo 2's storyline won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2000.
Well but they at least could make Cains death more... effective? Dunno, he seems like one of the most powerful horadrims ever existed. Like survived thru all the shit from D1 to D3. He took meteor hit in his face and was slammed 3 floors down the cathedral, he managed to fight thru everything up AND he was aged like fuck. But then, some butterfly killed him with one pity spell. RLY?
Have you ever been bit by a butterfly? hmmm? I thought not!
On to a more serious not, I agree with Silvach 110%
Sep 24, 2012200 LoH is way too low. You should also try a lil more resists, monks doesn't really have all that high killing speed (just look at paragon progression :P) but should easily survive some of the most dangerous mobs in the game with ease.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary
Also, you have quite low armor. 10 Armor = 1 All resistance, so you should try to get some more of it, as it will also greatly boost your survival.

People buy great gear (not the best, but still great) for a low price on AH because people only wanna charge high for really good gear, and now the chances of finding better gear is marginal (maybe around 0.02%) and then they complain good gear never drops.
Ive played without AH, and there is constantly good drops when you do.

Your avatar pic is an axe dood.
Seriously, some people (myself included) don't feel they have anything original etc to post as avatar pick and instead of putting an axe there just dont put one.
If I had been interested in WW barb I would considered taking a look on your stream!
Sep 21, 2012I hope they bring siegebreaker and ghom into this.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Most other bosses had some kind of introduction before you fought it. Exceptions being Iskatu (can you consider that a boss) and Rakanoth. Siegebreaker especially just appeared, then died, and that was all. Very much the same for Ghom, mentioned that a demon (never more specific than that) was in the keep, you find it and kill it as if it were just a normal mob.

Based on those translations from home page;
- You will be able to set Monster Powers from 0 to 10 before the game starts,
- It looks like we will need to set Monster Powers to level 2 or 3 to be at the same level that Inferno is at now,
Also, such solution enable possibility to farm any Act with any difficulty player like.
That would be good, as long as its theoretical lvls like I mentioned. If not, our armor and resistances will be diminished far too much I feel =/

I think that vases will obey the act, but maybe they will all be standardized for lvl 61 to avoid the farming of vases (why do we have breakable objects that drop stuff to begin with?...)
Though maybe not, since they don't get affected by MF it may be that A1 elites farming is more efficient and provides more useful items than A3 chests in the same amount of time.
Resplendent chest shouldn't be all that accessible anyway afaik.
Sep 21, 2012Posted in: News
True, but still, if monster levels per act remain the same, this means you won't get really good items unless you're doing act III or IV. This really defeats the drop rate changes they've been doing in patch 1.0.3, which was supposed to allow people getting good drops even in lower acts. So I really hope there will be some cap to this system, which would only have lower level items buffed, not nerf the higher ones.
The point was actually to stop people from killing vases etc instead of actually fighting mobs for loot.
Sep 21, 2012Posted in: News
Well it turns out my theory was wrong after all, and the proc chance nerf of sprint will affect fury generation as well. So the build will be much harder to use.
Exactly how does it affect fury generation?
I didn't think they generated fury?
Also, love the "Appear as offline" that will be coming, some of my friends do have trouble taking hints about how annoying it is constantly chatting while playing hardcore. Now they don't need to take a hint at all.

Dear colleague Gamers,
I'm reading the forums and checking diablofans web regularly since forever... And today I decided to read this topic and check if somebody is worried regarding the same thing I am. This usually happens a lot, but today nobody wrote anything about my concerns and I decided to make an account and write you few words...
Enough about me.
Affixes on items will now roll their level based on the level of the monster killed (rather than the item’s level)
A simple question: Do you know which monsters are lvl 63? Which elites from which acts can actually drop a decent loot now? Because I'm kinda sure that Act1 for example has only 1 type lvl 63 monster. And Act3? How many monsters are lvl 63? Which? I think this will make us do Act4 instead of Act3. The change regarding the quests and the resplended chests is for the same reason - quicker NV5 for the smallest act in the game. I might be very amazingly turbo mega wrong. If someone got a table with monster lvls for Inferno - please share. Because otherwise - We Be F*cked, my friends.
With the bestestest regards from Bulgaria,
I wrote a theory on this (http://www.diablofans.com/topic/71522-theory-on-monster-power-and-item-scale-with-monster-level/).
Also, I read (quickly) trough the thread, and as far as I can see, its only a theory with no evidence to back it up. I remember having read that "Act I have lvl 61 mobs, act II have 62 and act III have 63 mobs". I don't think act I have any 62 or 63 mobs at all.

amazing patch to be honest,
they really touched everything that I found annoying/broken.
only thing I dislike is :
"..in return they’ll receive scaling bonuses to experience (for heroes levels 1-59)".
but cannot complain really.
It does say "as well as" after that so it's a bit ambiguous. Not providing any exp incentive for Monster Power after having just added the Paragon incentive would be extremely short sighted.
Not really. Better loot is more than enough incentive (especially since loot is quickly irrelevant as you level in this game but means everything at 60). With the XP shrines, possible gear bonuses to XP, and the NV buff, I think Blizzard wants to cap how fast people can make it to 100. They really want it to take a while. Besides, better loot = improved combat efficiency which means killing faster thus faster XP anyway. Just not as dramatic as the sub-60 improvements.
Higher monster power presumably means dramatically more HP which would mean slower exp. It would be silly not to at least increase the exp rate enough to compensate for that.
Many of the best geared people isn't limited at all by how fast they kill enemies, but by how fast they move.
They wont be slowed down in the slightest, and will simply get more loot. If we give them more XP too, paragon lvls could have been awarded as your character hit lvl 60 (maybe not that dramatic, but still).
I think this is the best route to take, and also, it gives you MF above the cap so its even more valuable than paragon lvls
Also, "Square-quality gems no longer drop in Inferno difficulty" does this mean only flawless square will drop, or only radiant+ will drop?
I kinda want neither, because if no more square, the tome of jc lose all worth, and if radiant is going to be top gem it's gonna be a pain =/

Wow PvP was playable in 2010 at expo's and was scheduled for "shortly after release"
Now their lieing and saying they originally said the end of the year???
And to add insult to injury are saying it wont be here till 2013?
Horrible public relations....I wonder why when it was playable in 2010 with full arenas with the schedule of launch(later being pushed back to "just after launch", they have failed this badly???
Hope lots were fired over the failure to meet deadlines.
That you fail to read isnt blizzards fault.
