I think that vases will obey the act, but maybe they will all be standardized for lvl 61 to avoid the farming of vases (why do we have breakable objects that drop stuff to begin with?...)
Though maybe not, since they don't get affected by MF it may be that A1 elites farming is more efficient and provides more useful items than A3 chests in the same amount of time.
Resplendent chest shouldn't be all that accessible anyway afaik.

say a dual wielding monk have 1.96 attacks per second, 120k DPS and 900 LoH. In order to get more LL than LoH you would need 7.4% LL (this is considering the nerf).
If you now go to a 2h barb with 1.1 attacks per second, 1900 LoH and 120k DPS you would need 7.6% LL.
But this is long before certain things are being calculated:
1: Efficiency of LoH. Many damage dealing spells do not provide you the effect of LoH, examples is the mystic ally. Theese effects are still given to you using LL.
2: Your attacks do not deal 100% weapon damage, bash deals 165%, taking that into consideration you would only need 5.3% LL to beat 1.9k LoH using the above numbers given for the barb.
3: Many effects increase your DPS, a barb can have +13% crit, 25% attackspeed and 15% flat damage, so if you cant have 100% uptime on your WotB (Wrath of the berserker, or maybe berserkers wrath, I'm no barb!) providing exactly if the LL or LoH will be better may be hard to determine.
4: LL aligns well with cooldowns, and it is when you pop cooldowns you usually are in a "oh shit" situation, therefore I would say LL is more of a situational stat while LoH is more of a sustain stat.
My conclusion is however: go for both.
If you want, I can provide exact amounts regarding your situation (how much LL you need to surpass the LoH etc), Im not going to upload my spreadsheets though (mainly due to me being lazy and not wanting to translate them).

It will still only add 4% as you see from my results.
However, in this case 200 is 1/4th of the total of min+max damage.
So, I decided to experiment, and set it to 200-400.
This means you would still have the exact same DPS increase, but the percentages would change, now it would be a increase of 5.33%
And if you change it to 200-1000 it will be 2.67& increase, and 200-1400 makes a 2%, this is because it only affects minimum damage and don't factor in anything else by the current theory.
But, if I got a weapon with:
200-600
+113 minimum weapon damage
+178 maximum weapon damage
+48% damage
Now the minimum is 463.24 damage, maximum is 1151.44 damage, and the increase would be a 4.5% DPS increase.
Would it respect this, or would it still only apply to the 200 damage?

Maybe raids with attunements, but really that ain't seeming a lot like uber bosses to begin with, is it?

This sounds really odd, because that is simply a DPS increase of 4% instead of 8%.
Average of 200-600 = 400
Average of 232-600 = 416
400 * 1.08 = 432
Can you please provide some sources and proof to what you claim? This wouldn't really work if you don't have 200-200 damage or something like that.
I think it would be more like
200 - 600 damage
200 * 1.08 = 216
600 * 1.08 = 648
Average of 216-648 = 432, the correct number.
Sounds more logical to me, because if not it wouldn't really work out, would it?

You see, I may end up liking the witch doctor, never been past lvl 11, don't know.
But when I read on the spells, I lose all motivation to play it.
Thats why I want people to sell me the WD, because I really dont know if I like it or not, I just know reading on the spell arsenal of WD turns me off. I cant bring myself to even log onto the lvl 11 WD I got, but for all I know it might be a really fun class to play.

Of course they don't... People have been crying far too much about Diablo III being a copy of Diablo II, too many similar features, they could just be playin Diablo II and blizzard wont listen at all, they only keep putting in shared features!
/sarcasm off
Its true: Blizzard can not win, no matter what they do
People: "This doesn't feel like Diablo!"
Blizz: "Here you go, players8 and uber bosses from Diablo II, we are looking for more ways to give you that feel"
People: "OMG Blizz, stop copying Diablo II!!"
Personally, Im not all that excited considering ill probably not gain anything from theese since I play HC in a far too risky way, causing me to rarely be lvl 60 ):
But I still hope I can reach and stay at 60 and get to try out theese features. Maybe monster power will even make lvling more fun? that would be awesome

Lets say you got a passive or something that increases your arcane damage by 10%
Then you find something that "Adds 8% to Arcane Damage"
Now you will get 8.8% to arcane damage instead.
So if you find something with lightning on it and you're a wizard, then AFAIK every spell you use will give you a 8% chance to do a 1.5sec stun if you have the passive, even if its arcane orb you use (which is arcane damage).
This may be wrong and have not been tested.

I also slacked really much before giving them a chance to begin with because I read on their skills earlier. I didn't really find up to lvl 11 fun (like I did with every other class) but it feels like far too short a time to judge if a class is fun or not.
So, what makes you like your WD? I certainly don't like mine, but maybe WD is just not for me, which is probably it.
I also read http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/blog/4402025/Which_Class_Will_You_Play_-11_05_2012 pre-launch for all classes, it really made me want to play barb and monk but scared me away from WD, the 2 others kinda stayed at where they already were.
After the revamp to WDs in 1.0.4 I also decided to take a new look, but it still does very little besides turning me away from WD.
So, what make all you WD fans out there love your WD? I am seriously getting scared away from it, its the only class I haven't had past lvl 11 even.
*It would probably be best if you were selling the WD, try to make me buy him and play him, pretty please*

This are drop rates, not statistics.
If you play a lottery 100 times with 1% win chance and a lottery 10 times with 10% win chance, which1 will be easiest to win?
From a statistic point of view, its an equal chance, but now lets turn it into something more practical.
Let's say you play darts, in this version of darts the bull's eye provide 10 points and cover 1% of the target, while there is a "bigger bulls eye" which provides 1 point, and cover 10% of the target. Chances are some1 that's bad at darts will hit 10 points in the "bigger bulls eye" before he would hit once in the bulls eye, because its an easier target to hit. That's also how you need to think about drop rates, its way more likely that a 0.0375% drop will drop than a 0.01% will because you simply got way more to go at.
If you don't believe me, please try it out (as long as you ain't good at darts).
Also, the reason I want some1 that is bad at darts is because its more about luck and chance then, than it is about skill. If its about skill it removes the entire point since the loot system is about luck and chance.

I honestly want them to be more rare, I see people farming at insane speed with 375% MF (yea, thosse lvl 100 paragon) find more than 2 legendaries per hour, sure they farm a lot but I think halving it would be fine, that way the prices would hopefully go up enough for people to consider buying rares again and maybe we would have a better market.
Though my hypothesis might be wrong, and people would be frustrated about not finding a legendary.
but seriously, legendaries should be rare, not something you get upset about not finding but like "WOW WTF OMG DID IT REALLY DROP!?!?!?" when it first drops. People expect to find a legendary every time they kill a mob =/

You can mainly not increase your EHP in such an insane matter that its really going to help, especially not after the nerf of defensive skills.

I mean, add a "brain" to the affix picking
"You're in a narrow hallway? Here have some Arcane Enchanted mobs to fight"
you know, so difficult would come from more places than numbers

Didnt he say he is having fun with the build?
Shouldnt that be all enough of a reason to be happy?
Is efficiency so important that we cant do what's fun, just whats efficient?
I think its great he found something he likes, instead of copying every1 else out there. His build may not be the best, but this game never was about setting up the best build ever (that's maybe why I always die in hc).

Please, make a new char, go to 60 and play without the use of AH at all.
You will see a huge difference, a very huge one. It will often drop gear improvements.
The reason you dont find them, is because you have currently reached the point where gear upgrades are so rare, they cost millions on the AH. Obviously, its going to be rare to find them while farming too, if not they would have cost far less.
So, see the real problem and stop blaming blizz for buying good gear on AH and then not finding better drops yourself.
"But I don't find any items that can sell for millions!! /QQ"
Well, if you would find 100 of those every hour then they wouldn't sell for millions, once again you have failed to see the problem...

That you fail to read isnt blizzards fault.
