I think that vases will obey the act, but maybe they will all be standardized for lvl 61 to avoid the farming of vases (why do we have breakable objects that drop stuff to begin with?...)
Though maybe not, since they don't get affected by MF it may be that A1 elites farming is more efficient and provides more useful items than A3 chests in the same amount of time.
Resplendent chest shouldn't be all that accessible anyway afaik.

The monster power is to set a difficult you want to play. Like you see from some of the news, its going to require monster power 2 or 3 to reach approximately how inferno is today. So, we are getting a huge advantage of it (inferno will be much easier and more accessible, removing risk). In addition, when you feel like "Act III is going so well! I think I can finally move on!" you got monster power 2 and Act I (or maybe Act I at monster power 2 will be too easy? Then Act II with monster power 2).
Also, be prepared for death. It WILL happen. Learn that and accept that. Raging after a death on HC is just fine, just don't take it too far and don't get demoralized. Start over again, The death of a HC char is also the beginning of another char. If there's another class you ever wanted to play, a death is your chance for that
Death is not all that bad on HC.
I definitely want this option for HC

Im not really asking for a HC guide either, but builds you can choose in a situation where you don't wanna be at any real risk of death ^^
And another thing!
Currently, you have your table of contents like this (with whats in each of them under, but its irrelevant to my point so I cut it out).
G01A Completely Noob, Almost Broke, Utterly Stuck, Trapped, Confused
G02A Not So Noob, Dirt Poor, Somewhat Stuck, Sort of Understand but Not Really
G03A Not So Poor, At Crossroads, Super Dilemma
G04A Pretty Well Off, More Inner Battles, Now What?
Could you maybe change these to more like this? (Not 100% sure if I use correct values).
G01A Completely Noob, Almost Broke, Utterly Stuck, Trapped, Confused (0-10mill)
G02A Not So Noob, Dirt Poor, Somewhat Stuck, Sort of Understand but Not Really (10-100mill)
G03A Not So Poor, At Crossroads, Super Dilemma (around 140mill)
G04A Pretty Well Off, More Inner Battles, Now What? (200mill+++)
I think this post in general would be easier to navigate like that ^^

When I give up Purist HP and continue on my Wizard, I will make sure to keep this in mind
Bookmarked and +1
And as a side note: The almost broke (2nd stage) part includes a CM spec, but CM isn't really viable for HC because it kinda need you to stand in middle of the pack and spam frost nova, so you take a really great risk.
Are there any alternatives you would recommend?

The best thing you can do is develop a mentality which says "Death is natural, it will probably happen before or later" and "Death is only a way to test out more classes!". Those 2 ways of thinking makes deaths easily bearable for me. It could work for you, depending on how good you are to convince yourself.
Personally I fight and die with a smile on my face, and I know I couldn't enjoy anything without a risk. I will recommend this way of thinking to every1. However, it doesn't mean you should be more reckless, just that you should be able to tackle a death. Also, being shocked instead of raging is bad if you know yourself well enough to know you would usually rage, because aggression aint a good thing to keep in (Its okay to rage too, remember to have the balls to begin again)

Don't forget that he may be playing softcore, especially considering that's what the link to his profile says.
In softcore, I know survival is often ditched for damage because a death isnt all that punishing and if you can clear 10 packs and have 1 deaths in 5 minutes or clear 10 packs and have no deaths in 10 minutes, softies are often happy with the 10 packs 1 death.
So, judging by that I would say Sankis is a great weapon, and you may do just fine with it for a long time, and eventually trade it up if you find something more appealing to you or if you want to try different play styles.
The most important is to enjoy the game (If you play hardcore you could consider it most important to stay alive?)

Thats exactly what Im doing!
No HP bonuses. No LoH. No LL. No LAK. No spells providing healing. Hardcore.

You raise a very good point, it shouldnt be a punishment helping out a friend.
Therefore, it should be temporarily deactivated while outside of Inferno, means you can have 50 stacks of it, but it wont affect drops, it wont keep stacking, and it wont fall. That way, I think it would be most fair.

I think (and hope) you are skilled enough to clear that together with me
Thats a message for Jaetch / Aesthia only, not the entire forum ^.^

I think the problem is that the accessibility of items is currently really high because lots of people play D3 and therefore items that sell needs to be better because if not you will lose out in the competition.
Try hardcore, I like the market better there, easier to find upgrades out in the world even while using AH, harder to find items at AH and also possible to find upgrades for yourself to equip.
The only "bad" thing is that some people don't like starting over (I personally love that I can try out a new class when I die ^^)

Ill take a more detailed look when I lvl a new monk, so I still got 3 classes first (Wiz, WD, DH) but I will get there eventually ^^
Ill add it to my bookmarks and will stalk the comments and perhaps updates too

I guess theese are nice guidelines for SC, and many of the stats can be reduced at HC.
Since the market is way smaller there are also way less competition when you first find really good gear, but for the same reason people also do buy worse gear for more than they would on SC, since you also risk getting to 60 and then die before you find anything selling for a lot.
I will take a look and see if there are changes that *must* be done for hc later, maybe when I come home ^^

I agree, now lets just get it true the legal procedures and we can begin.
How should we word and reason these actions, any ideas?
Also, maybe this will bring back the "dark feeling around Diablo" that people miss from Diablo 2?

However, certain limitations should apply:
1. Only available at lvl 60.
2. Only available in inferno.
3. Leaving inferno should reset the stacks.
Why do I want these rules?
Well, I am currently lvling yet another char because staying alive is hard, and I notice there are far more legendary drops during the lvling process than at higher lvls. Currently, you mainly got 1 goal while lvling, and that is to get up in lvls, not get legendaries.
If you allow it outside inferno, people will start farming leorics signet even more and it will simply drop in value, while the boost is small its not needed at these lvls.
It should be a reward at the endgame imho.
