I also doubt that. But talking about a single player, the runewords are there, and iis almost impossible to make a enigma without trading.

They had allready said that one of the focus in diablo 3 will be trading. A pure mode is 100% against what they want to creat. Dimebog i think what you really hate is botting - not real life trading. So i think they must focus on anticheating mechanism.

    C'mon. A dungeon inside a demoniac matriarch's whomb would be great !

No-one asked for 10x greater drop rates. People who play D2 single player farm for entire sets alone and work for their very specific items. You only THINK it's so convenient to trade for stuff in D2 because 90% things you ever traded for are dupes or botted items. Everyone in D2 seems to have an Anni if they wanted one. I wonder if everyone had 100 SoJs at any one time to deliberately get one. The drop dynamics were just as flawed as the economy itself, but one thing made the other less severe.

So what? That's player to player interaction. Not 5000-bots company to player interaction.

No. Theres companys that do that. Of course without bots.
And I doubt anyone can make a enigma without trading. It's impossible imo.

So? Let's assume D3 mechanics won't be far from D2. In D2 farm bots were in 98% cases a paladin with very specific gear. In order to buy an account with the gear you desire - and the 'seller' can't just transfer the ideal botting items to his character. Even if he could - he would waste them on that character since he has to replace them with the ones the buyer specified, and for one single bot to achieve something like that would probably take years. So no, that wouldn't work. Also, if they limit one account per one CD-key that would mean that people would need to buy a new game for every such endeavor.

No it won't take years. Assuming that the pure mode would have 10x or greater drop rates.
Or it would be impossible to a player get anything.

In wow you cna 've only one account per game - and that change nothing.
When you wanna get somethinbg, you sell your account and buy a acount with full spec for some addcted player or some especialized site. Ex:
I want a max level WD with full equipament. I sell my account and buy a account with the character i want.
Yes it's little more complicated then just pay 5 dolars for a item. But it happens all the time in wow.

If you get a pure mode where e-buyers cannot trade items for real cash, they will just trade the whole account, power level service and/or farming service like in wow.

This kind of issue cannot be fixed, not even with ''sacrifices'' like soulbound or pure mode.

    a) Diablo's art style is based at disturbing violence. I'm very happy that they will keep this.
    B) I didn't like the roll system in WoW. I think the new system they develop will be good.
    c) Now I agree with you. But i don't like AC's (trading without comunication suck). I think a in-game trading forum would be great.
    d) No way. I just expect we don't've to get mules =_=

I dont buy my gear hell i didnt even know u couldbuy gear till like 6 months ago. I just dont care what others do cuz i know that i would never pay real money to help a character in a game hell i wont even play PTP games but if others are truely that stupid andwanna waste real money on items in a game then fucken let em. Im proud to work so hard and have it pay off by gettin some ballin ass equipment.

I see no problem in buying items from other players with real cash.
Every single online game 've things like that. It is a part of reallity in online multiplayer games.
Thats why i play without carrying about what other people do. I just try to have fun with my friends.

Games like diablo were not made for competitive play and will nevr be. Diablo and MMORPG like things are not e-sports.

posted a message on Narrowing down the last classes
I agreed with the ranger concept. Before they said that the only returning class would be the barbarian i though it was a Rogue (Bow/Dagger user with trap and stealth) but now i think the name can change for something like that.

    My other two guesses are:

Hyerophant: A class that can mix some elemental magic, white magic and ''pure'' magic. See my tread about him hehe.

Black/Hell/Bloody (anything wicked) Knigh: A melee class that uses fire spells, lifesteal attacks and suportive skills.

monsters with specific behaviors which can great alter the strategy taken by the player. Extra props if its a sexy or sinister monster ;p

While the mobs in d2 look so much better... I preferred the behavior and tactics the different mobs in D1 incorporated. The gameplay seemed more varied and affected by the monsters you fought in diablo 1.

    100% Agreed !

The defensive shadow skills are simply things that allow her to survive better.
After all, the trap skills are meant to kill lots of monsters in an evasive manner, and the martial arts skills are designed to enchant the assassins weapons to kill lots of monsters with magic.

BTW we are going further and further away from the actual topic. Ninja and assassins arent really my thing. My point when talking about them is:
"The assassins is ninja influenced and is a killing machine while real ninja are only assassinators. Thus there could also be a class influenced by samurai that is changed in ways that would make it fit into D3."

Actually they said there wont be healing classes or things like that and only classes that are firstly meant to kill.

Stealth is contradicting Blizzard's goal of making combat fast-paced.

English is my third language. :P
    No problem though.

P.S. its "which" not "witch". :D
Witch has a different meaning. You know, the evil female wizard riding a broom, seen oftentimes in cartoons etc.. =P

They said no healer nad no tank - but nothing about no stealth.
They can easilly make a stealth class that can kill alot of things fast. Lets see...
You have a skill to become invisible. Then you have the classic Sneak Attack, but it cause damage in a huge area. So one of the strategies of this class would become invisible and strikedown massive damage and kill everyone, then fade again. Something like that.
It will be very disapointing too see the same D2's gameplay in D3 once D2 gameplay (nowdays) is terrible repetitive.

Yeah ok, the ninja might have magical abilities and such, but in the end, a real Ninja wont fit in a hack&slash game with hordes of demons to be killed, because even if they have lots of magic, they just arent meant to get into a fight with lots of people, as their magic is evasive and geared towards assassinating and not killing 5 people with a fireball.
But look at how they twisted those abilities for the assassin and made a killing machine out of her who still uses Ninja style skills.

Magicians seem to be much more generic than Ninja. You could have a magician who just creates potions and such and you can have a magician who summons thunderstorms and fireballs.
So again, its not the same. :D

You would've liked the druid idea even before knowing about something like the Diablo version?
Their origin and such doesnt matter. Its about what they do and the like.
Original druids are much more like priests. They possibly have nothing to do about fighting but im not sure.
The idea of druids that summon hurricanes and create thunderstorms, turn into werewolfes and other animals etc. is just a part of fantasy games.

Than again, i know that the Samurai cant be changed like that for a fantasy video game, but as i already said, the class wont be even an actual Samurai.

P.S. Its "Japanese" in english. Not with "o" but "a".

Yes, but if you consider skills like Cloak of Shadows, witch allows the assassin to move through the enemie hordes without been notice, theorically assassin should be a stealth character. Of course, in diablo all character must be able to finish multiple enemys at once - but it doesn't mean that assassins strategy should be based at come out of the shadows, kill everyone and fade away.
Unfortunally, D2's sin don't work like that. Shes just a ordinary melee/ranged character. Thats why, imo, D2's assassin are a failed class (like the druid and the barbarian).

As they said that every class in D3 would have a totally different gameplay I believe we gonna have a Stealth class (or even more weird types of gameplay).

And sorry for the bad english. It's not my first linguage >_<'
