We will have a much more complex craft system. I feel the strongest items will come from this.

I`m sure they will make a much more fun lvling system.
This game will be full of random quests, and i think questing will be the faster way to lvl up.
    Questing > Griding.

I think the orb system (as the potion system) its just a game mechanic. Is the kind of thing that are there in the GAME but do NOT existe in the game reality. You will never see someone finding a Halberd after kill a insect swarm, drinking waterfalls of potions or getting orbs from enemies body in a cynematic or even metion of those things in the game lore, novel and such.

People have to understand that games like diablo are not movies or simulators.
Ity`s like ask yourself why in act 6, a demon minion like those suicide guys is much stronger then a Lesser Evil like Andariel and Duriel. The answer is:
Because the game have a level system. Level system is the kind of thing that exist for those one that are playing the game but for the game chartacters don`t.

All those thing are beyond fiction or concept. They are nor but numbers to make the game more fun to play.

I cant even say how ppl would hate the game if it comes with a cheat u.u`
And I kno is not a crime to cheat in a single player, but i cant imagine how stupid the game would be if you install it and can put your charatcter at lvl99 if any item any time you won`t.
    Yeah, you`re really weird.

Like or dislike something is just a matter of opnion =)
You and the ppl you kno don`t like ff, but i do and ALOT of ppl do once FF is the most sucefull RPG serie of all times.
    And don`t forget the Diablo`s case =)

Allmost ALL the spells in D1 can be found in D2.

    Recharge Staff - D1 Only.
    Repair - D1 Only
Disarm Trap - Assassin`s in D2 can open locked chest without keys and allways avoid traps as a secret passive effect.
    Firebolt - Soc Skill
    Charged Bolt - Soc Skill
Heal - Found at Act 3 Kurast Mages Monsters. I kno it just too generical to be relevant.
    Holy Bolt - Pally Skill
    Inferno - Soc Skill
    Fire Wall - Soc Skill
    Flash - D1 Only spell.
Identify - Found in Scrolls and Books =p
    Infravision - D1 Only Spell.
    Lightning - Soc Skill
Resurrect - D1 Only Spell. The necromancers Ressurect are a tottally diferent spell.
Stone Curse - D1 Only Spell.
    Telekinesis - Soc Spell.
Town Portal - Found in Scrolls and Books.
    Chain Lightning - Soc Spell.
Elemental - I mwill consider a D1 Only, but Fire Golem are a really close vercion of this spell.
    Fireball - Soc Spell.
Flame Wave - D1 Only Spell.
    Guardian - That`s Hydra, a Soc Spell.
    Mana Shield - Soc Spell.
Phasing - Just a random teleport. It`s a D1 Only anyway once soc have only the no-random vercion.
Apocalypse -Unfortunally, a D1 only spell.
Blood Star - Stygian Harlot and they kind use it in act 5.
    Bone Spirirt - Necro Spell.
    Golem - Necro Spell.
    Nova - Soc Spell.
    Teleport - Soc Spell.

Result: In diablo 1 we have a total of 30 spells.
Only 9 os those spells won`t appear again in D2.
2 of those spells reappear as monster`s only spells.
The other 19 are playable spells. And as you can see most of soc Lighting and Fire tree are not original.

As we can see in the gameplay video, many D2 spells will appear at D3. For the same reason allmost all SC and BW units will be in SC2. Blizzard games have a huge base of old fans that, in a way or another, want to see the same old things again.
That doesn`t mean that we won`t get new things. Just look D2 case and see the huge amount of new spells and skills =)

    Quote from "ZonerZ" »
i know, but i'm very against the whole repetition thing. out of game, we're paying for a new experience and i'd feel cheated. In game... well, it would be ridiculous (not impossible, just ridiculous) that somehow a new character from a different walk of life somehow developed the exact same version of a necro's amplify damage

    I disagree.
Alot of spells from D2 comes from the D1. I see no reason why that won`t happen again. Actually, basically all RPG games do it.
All Final Fantasy have allmost the same spells.
All D&D based games allsoo have very similar spells/classes.
Bring back old spell, abilities, classes and monsters is a good way to make old fans feels nostalgic.. i can`t really say how happy i was when i saw Necro`s Bone Spirirt. And i can`t even think how happy i will be if i see Bloodstar or Armagedon usable once again.

Keep in mind that the Skill Suggestion doesn`t mean that the class have to get ALL those skills. It should have only some of then.
If those classes get ALL those old abilities, yeah, i agree it was be very boring...

posted a message on New skill from class specific unique item
LOL I really loved both ideas.
I allways like the D1 staff of armagedon system. You have to drop a new item to get a very unic and powerfull ability.. great !
And the second idea seens very cool too. Take care of many things is something that makes the game more fun. Have to not only level up you character, but level up some wepons would be a GREAT improvement to the game.

posted a message on My D3`s New Classes
Since the fixed thread was closed i will make my point here.
As most of ppl know, D3 will have five classes. Here is the classes already announced:

-Barbarian: Heavy melee class with some party buffing and disabling abilities through battle shouts and very special and unic moves like leap attack, whirldwind and those shockwaves.

-Wicth Doctor: Fire/Poison caster with summoning and disabling abilities through haunting and cursing.

Ok, here go my 3 inventions =)

-Hyrophant: Those are heavy spell caster who are basically a mix of the White Spell power of the paladin + Elemental Spell Power of the sorc (however, without Fire spells).
Spell Suggestion: Ligtning Bolt, Frozen Orb, Heal, Mana Shield, Teleportation, Holy Bolt and some new abilities like Time Stoping and Summoning Angel.

-Rogue: The unic concept of rogue inside the Diablo`s universe is GREAT, howveer poorly explored in D1. She would be the official ranged wepon user, with some stealth/decieve abilties and even traps. She could also using daggers once diablo never had a good dagger user.
Skill Suggestion: Multishoot, Fire Arrow, Slow Missiles, Decoy and some Assassin`s Sentrys plus some new abilities like Stealthing, Paralysing Traps, Special Dagger Attacks and Detect/Disarm Traps.

-Blood Knight/Zealot: Those are Zakarum paladin victims of the bloodlust created by the war. A very close concept of WoW`s Scarlat Crusaders. Those could keep the violont side of the Diablo 2 pally (zeal, fanatism, etc..), but have some less ``pollitically right`` abilities.
Skill Suggestion: Keep Zeal, Sacrifice, Fanatism and Shield Bashing abilities. Add some necromancer`s curses like Amplify Damage, LifeTap and Weaken. Exumate some old, but cool spells like Bloodstar. Finnaly, creat new abilities focusing at Life Draining, use enermies corpse or even Fire Based Attacks, like Fire Breathing and Punish the enemys with a Inquisitorial Blaze.

I hope you like it =)
