Ok, so I think I found the best Yang ever.
Not sure what to reroll.
I don't know about IAS as it only drains my hatred faster and I lose shooting time. Then again, won't IAS synergy well with the Stricken gem? The math on that one might be a bit tricky.
- Rerolling the disc nets ~3.4 % dmg increase.
- IAS to Elite Damage is a decent option.
- IAS to VIT is a decent QoL option.
- IAS to Area Damage. Possibly the highest DPS option for group play mid-high lvl GRs.
- IAS to CDR? Could be a decent option, but I only see it as a good one if I can drop CDR from 2 other item slots and still keep a viable vengeance CD.
Keep in mind one probably shouldn't consider Yang a progression bow, so its uses are mainly T10 speed runs and mid level team GRs.
Atm I'm leaning towards the VIT option for comfort.
Hey guys! I have just looted this yang's and I don't really know what to reroll. I am torn between dmg range and discipline but don't really know what will give me the most damage. Help me out please.
, does AS give me more than paperdamage, quicker attacks more rockets(?) Some people have suggested going either the 10%dmg roll (easier than perfect weap dmg roll), or to go cdr instead of AD and then when my gear is better go back to AD because it's according to them a great damage stat later on.Haha I wish there was somewhere you could read about all these mechanics.I still can't decide what to do ^^
You already got the must have top 4 affixes with high end rolls. The only flexible stat to roll here is AD, which you have a chance to shift as needed between AS-CDR-RCR-AD
Got a deadmans ancient drop and it roll with 88% MS and 10 dis. The rest are high my question is what would you guys roll with the MS dmg or 2 mroe dis?
Hi Diablofans ! Thx for making this thread so usefull and visible.
I've looted this beauty and I'm not sure what to roll. LoH is a nice tank stat, but would CDR or AS be better ? Especially since I won't be pushing high GR with UE, trying to get the LoN ancient setup... someday...
I'de love to reroll the dmg just to get it perfect, but it's not too bad allready.
So I'd love some advice. THX !
that 4th affix below the dexterity ( I can guess it's life per hit) is the roll candidate. You can cap CDR to 37% or boost toughness with Vitality if needed.
it wasn't until this season iknew anything about refilling.. in fact I still knowvery little as I sit there with the mystic just guessing of what do roll on each !
look at my link below... can't get resist all elements for belt and wasting too many mats and gold... CD-R is 33% and dog is under 50% all help on what to roll where and get ancients is much appreciated
Just pulled this. Started my toon for the season yesterday, just did a few GR 35s and pulled this. Spent every season since release looking for an ancient one, but I don't want to get ahead of myself with rolling. I have a gift, so socket isn't a problem.
Obviously the 10% dmg is max, as well as the dex being 5 points from max. the RCR is 50%, max disc., only thing that really leaves is rolling that CDR to 10% or rolling that lightning damage to higher fire damage.
Those are the possible rolls for the CDR. I don't think it'd let me put another 10% resource cost on there, so I don't know why it's an option. The bleed is too high of a variable and requires stupid attack speed + Pain Enhancer, and of course just rolling that CDR higher. The only difference with rolling the Lightning damage is attribute damage + those options as well.
I feel like rolling that into Fire damage is better, with Cindercoat in cube, but I j ust won't want to rush.
Hello! I'm running a Marauder build Demon Hunter and my Manticore finally dropped. It's Ancient but frustratingly the stats are pretty much all at the low end of their ranges, including pathetically low dex and the Cluster Arrow dmg increase which is its absolute minimum. Elemental dmg is poison when I'd really rather have had cold because I'm using Bane of the Trapped. Sigh. My hunch is to boost the Cluster Arrow dmg to 80 as I can always use Caldesann's Despair to add more dex, but what do you think?
It is an unfortunate drop but It should still work better than any other option.
Best you can do is roll CDR into 10% damage, and use it until you find a better one.
The damage type has zero effect on anything. Take it as plain damage number only. It will not benefit from elemental damage bonus nor effect any skill-rune-gem-affix-etc related to its type.
Damn, that's juicy. I'd re-roll the area damage to whatever you need: vitality if you lack toughness for pushing, cooldown reduction if you need that for permanent Vengeance uptime, but I guess the most popular opinion would be attack speed for more damage. No UE expert here though, get a second opinion.
I am currently pushing grifts on my HC Demon Hunter and I'm having trouble progressing past grift 87. Are there any standouts in my gear that I can work to improve? I'm currently farming for an ancient helm equivalent with dex/crit/impale dmg that I can imbue. Keep farming paragon levels? Please advise (Note - I use Strongarms to push, noticed Nemesis is showing up in profile)
[p]I've rolled a god-like Yangs Recuve (+10 Damage; 1000 Dex; +50 rcr; +12 Disc). It also rolled Vit which I originally rerolled to AS but have just now rerolled to +Elite Damage.[/p]
[p]I figured that since i don't have this multiplier on any of my other gear it was a better option.[/p]
[p]I also wondered about rcr; vit or Life on Hit, it almost seems like you can't go too far wrong with whatever stat I roll here..[/p]
[p]Thoughts?[/p]

For all the yang reroll questions regarding UE6, disc is not as powerful as ppl may think it is. It adds to a multiplier. For example:
Going from 83disc (1660% UE6 bonus) to 86 disc (1720%) is an overall increase of 3.6%
So in the case of a yangs having stats like:
6% dmg bonus
900dex
24 area dmg
9 disc
6 to 10% dmg bonus would be slightly better then 9 to 12 disc
If the yangs were like this:
7% dmg bonus
900 dex
24 area dmg
9 disc
9 to 12 disc would be more benifitial then rolling the 7% dmg bonus up to 10.
Ok, so I think I found the best Yang ever.

Would like some advice.
Roll AS to 10% damage
New to DH and this dropped the other day. Should I reroll the vit into reduce resource cost?
">
@mokujon: I would reroll damage close to a 1940.
@saint_seken: tough one, I would reroll the damage percent
@kadenftw: Sorry, i can't read your screenshot.
Please help with my new Nat 1H. I gave the screenshot of the replacement properties for IAS.
Ancient Dead Mans Legacy
857 dex
16% attack speed
8% crit
1.5 hatred/sec
8% cdr
10 max disc
97% ms dmg
54% and below for double ms
I know not great, but first Ive found
Nothing much to gain from area damage in an UE setup. I would roll AD into AS rightaway

P.S.: Removed your double post
Took me awhile this season, but I finally got my first Ancient Yang's. Helped me jump from gr66 to gr70, but I need help with what to roll.
1340-1697 base dmg
9% dmg
953 dex
945 vit
44% rcr
11 max disc
Not sure if AS or base damage would net the most gain. Thanks in advance.
Edit: I went with the base damage reroll, got 1560-1905 Fire Damage. Went from 3048dps to 3375dps!
