This is an undeniable proof for D3 X-II (if not a troll) which might hit the shelves soon, and D4 -even if announced- will take at least-3 years to complete anyway. So getting an announcement for both is still a possibility.

There is a slight chance of getting a D4 and D3 X-II announcement at the same time..

I want to believe that the Shadow Set is reserved for a future patch to have its golden age.

Because MS is a substitute skill for Cluster Arrow regarding MR6 setups.
Also, you can't utilize Dawn/Bombsack/YR bow/DML quiver at the same time, so you can't have optimal MS outcome with any given combo of the 4 essential power items.

It is an unfortunate drop but It should still work better than any other option.
Best you can do is roll CDR into 10% damage, and use it until you find a better one.
The damage type has zero effect on anything. Take it as plain damage number only. It will not benefit from elemental damage bonus nor effect any skill-rune-gem-affix-etc related to its type.

A new N6/S2 build utilizing Hellcat Waistguard has recently emerged and apparently dominating the leaderboard. What's more surprising is that it does not include Crashing Rain belt..

Here's a possible build utilizing the new Hellcat Waistguard.
It has the solid damage output to push some greater rift tiers above 75-80, but it compromises a little on the toughness part. So take this with a grain of salt and keep in mind that this is a glass cannon build.

Here's the test result for CA/CB build..

Fok Builds are not viable because the shift in stats/gear/power items makes it extremely hard -if not impossible- to survive beyond 65-70. A few people achieving high results with fok build are exceptional(y good (and stubborn! ;D )) players.
It has slightly different play style than KP builds;
-With Fok you need to gather as much progress monsters as you could and blast them with well timed FoK shoots.
-In KP, you ignore anything around you but yellow champions and blue packs. Meddling around large packs or remaining yellow minions is inefficient most of the time.
-KP build can double dip in toughness -if you can figure out to keep your hatred above 85-90% most of the time- by being able to ditch "seethe" rune and utilize dark heart rune via skill. So Armor cube slot becomes free, and most beneficial power item to replace Visage of Gunes is Aquila Cuirass.
-There's no way of getting away from vengeance or doing anything which compromises its uptime so do not even bother..
Here's my current setup which I use to consistently farm gr 70-80. This is one of the most tanky builds for a DH. With a few changes it is also great for TXIII bounty farming. UE multishot is still the best option for nephalem rifts.

Not using Garwulf and/or Visage of Gunes kills the build..

This doubles the confusion (and frustration) caused by the messing around spike traps lately. Viable builds don't have room neither for gear nor a cube slot unless it prooves more useful;
N6 - It can't compete with hexing pants
MR6 - you need to trade off Garwulf Cloak. With grenade related CA runes your element will be fire so another rival power item is Cindercoat
It feels like they want to do something but they don't have the heart.
They better stop messing with our feelings, right?
On PTR I might try a MR6 "glass grenade" setup with hellcat in cube, cindercoat equipped (via RoRG) and see how it performs..

Zei's Stone cc aspect is a joke. Its proc chance is not 100%. Once it's triggered it has an internal cooldown. It will not proc simultaneously on multiple targets. With recent nerfs it will be affected by diminishing returns.
Toth is both a reliable cc source and an essential defense mechanism for UE gameplay which helps keeping targets at bay.
Bott proximity requirement for slow, contradicts at least two UE skills/effects that require you to stand in range and not take damage, and forces you to use defensive skills frequently, which leads to consuming your disc reserve and drastically geopardizing your damage output.

You need optimum gear with full +70-80 augments, perfect stat combo and rolls and +1500P to be able to 1-2 shot elites in TXIII, especially with UE..

pick a difficulty where you can kill elites fast, and either do normal rifts or bounties ignoring trash mostly. To do this efficiently you need to optimize your setup. Check the builds section, demon hunter forums, subreddit right column for recent speedfarm builds.

Yeah Vengeance is literally "plugged" into our butt in an attempt (failed lol) to level the class with the competition.
It took down what little is left to play around by occupying a skill slot, requiring a CDR cap, and 1 or 2 cube slots on each and every possible build.

M6 is the best combination with Chakram sword. Your weapon must be really a high end version of either sword of ill will (with 1.4 multiplier, no less) or dawn to rock. Until you obtain a satisfactory weapon, I'd say don't bother or it will be frustrating..
The bug was- Marauder 4pc bonus multiplying the SM 2pc buffed shots..
