If you stopped for 20 years you would be useless again, 20 years is a massive amount of time. I haven't played tennis in 14 years, I used to play all the time, bet I'm completely useless. Fighting demons and undead with attacks like whirlwind would take even more effort to pick up again.
Diablo is not a game you start feeling weak anyway, I'm sure the Barbarian will be one shotting ghouls from the start.
I am not saying he should be at the same level as he once was, I am just saying that he would still have more knowledge of how to fight than a base character. Also he would pick fighting back up faster, in the same way that relearning something is always faster than learning it.
You may not be good a tennis, but you are probably better than someone just starting out and you would get better faster as your body relearns how to play.
I am so barbarian proballly no doubt about it. In the gameplay I thought he looked really cool and could pwn any1. (that is just my point of view)
for the age...

And now that you mention it, the heroes from D2 all looked pretty young, while the ones we've seen so far in D3 appear just a tad older, overall. Instead of early-to-late 30's, something more in the lines of 40+. Could be all wrong, but it's just the vibe I get when I think of it.
look at the barbarian he looks like hes 65+ he has white hair how his body is stuctured and how he talks. Sounds pretty old to me. Might be be wrong but it's a video game and thats how I see it.
To be honest, we've only seen two characters, and the female barbarian dosn't look old at all. Plus, if you look at Diablo lore, the Necromancer is D2 was actually 200 years old I think. ( By magic, but still, old )
Until we've seen the other three classes we can't judge the age of all of them.
Haha the age thing never bothered really bothered me. For some reason, if the game makes me choose the appearance of my character I always make them look like a guy in his mid-fifties.
I'm sure there's some disturbing Freudian reasoning behind this, but I honestly don't want to know it.

I seem to always make females when given the option; even though I'm a guy. Wonder what ol' Sigmund has to say about that!
To say on topic, I wonder why they didn't tell us about the big zeus hammer-ish attack the barb does. He does it a few times in the close-up after killing the ghouls at the beginning.
hey hey hey...thats not true. i dont want to spoil it, but did u forget a certain someone throwing a certain something at a certain geological structure?
in d3 my idea is that a meteor crashed into mt. arreat
but im wrong most likely as i do dream up weird fantasies.

The Barbarian looks so incredibly awesome! I also like how he looks older than one would expect for the average adventurer, making him look hella older gives him a really gritty and brutal look, IMO. His voice actor sounds awesome too!

Personally i dont wana use a grampa like barbarian, it look so bad with that overzised shoulders.
His helmet looks awesome IMO the concept art makes him look like such a friggin beast! Its vaguely similar to chaos warriors from Warhammer. Hey! You know what we need? A Barbarian name generator! There need to be MOAR barbs with names like BLOODAXE DOOMFEAST! IMO...

The one comet landed in the church.
The worldstone blew up destroying a good majority of the mountain, which is why it looks like it did in the trailer. At least that's what I think.

The shoulders have nothing to do with his age, and you won't even be able to see his age when he's in full equipment.
Barbs play too basic.
Class sucks, my Wolf eats them.
You mean the wolf of the druid who probably won't be in D3?
Epic fail...
no penguin?
