Sep 26, 2008ZonerZ posted a message on Sexuality and Gender in Diablo III: Beauty or Brawn?i see no reason for anyone to be upset about the article. No, I didn't think it was funny at all. But no one held a gun to my head and made me read it. Live and let live. And as for the post of the offended christian...ugh...dude. I'm catholic too, but loosen up. There was nothing degrading about it. There's always gotta be 'that guy' in every forum. But I suppose you are entitled to your voice. Squandering it is your choice.Posted in: News

Sep 20, 2008ZonerZ posted a message on Diablo 3 Item Grace Period & Alt Keyi think it's safe enough to say we can hold alt to keep the names from disappearing. Blizz is a quality company. They wouldn't do anything that would be a step backwards (like having to continually tap a button to procure phat lewtz). It'll probably be very similar to guild war's system in terms of watching item names. If something's dropped, you're informed but the name goes away. Alt keeps the name up as long as the button's down.Posted in: News

Jul 30, 2008ZonerZ posted a message on Diablo III vs Hellgate: LondonIf it weren't for these three factors, i'd pick hellgate over d2Posted in: News
crap performance (I have a high-end computer, it's the game's network that's the problem because my personal connection is usually next-to-godly)
I picked a marksman and i got to lvl 20 before i realised that I don't want to do the math to find out what the best gun was for my style.
I blew like 7 skill points minimum in grenades and tactical strikes (raining hell from an airplane didn't make too much sense when you're in a sewer.
But I will NEVER pick hgl over another game without actually playing it. I advise everyone else to follow unless you want to look ignorant. Yes, HG:L sucked. Saying it's better than a game you haven't played= bein' ignant.
But as to Jordan's post, Guild Wars > Hellgate a million times over. -
Jul 25, 2008ZonerZ posted a message on Diablo 3 Polystone Diorama Unveiled at San Diego Comic Confor the set with the interchangeable head it's 300 bucks. The people getting this are the ones that can afford 15$ a month games, and few of them care enough about diablo to pay thatPosted in: News

simply...epic. If not this, than zombie/bone bridge. Or strong zombie halfway above ground that can launch you across gaps and into monsters. Or a flaming skull you can 'surf' on. Or a purple and green smoke bomb on either side of a gap, and the player uses his imagination to figure how he gets from point a to point b. Honestly anything is fine. So long as i get MAH BLOWDART PIPE!

Didn't Jay Wilson say it?

this is getting kindof immature, don't ya think?

That is THE only thing that could possibly make this game cooler. I think about from the time I wake 'till the time I sleep and dream of it. I would fight a friggin' balrog for it. So, in short...

just wanna point something out... I have +300 hours logged on GW. 21 on hellgate. City of heroes? I don't even want to do the math to figure out how much I've played. I'm not afraid of mmos. I just think that Diablo is legendary as a hack-n-slash. I really doubt it will be half as fun as an mmo. I've agreed with you on almost everything you've ever posted, dimebog, but understand where I'm coming from before you tell me it's the wrong direction.
that said, i don't think a 'social' button is mmo-like. I think emotes are. I'd love emotes. But I've slowly realized that it would cheapen the experience. The title, by the way, is a grabber. I've always thought it was funny as hell that people would flip out and call d3 that. It stood to reason that the thread would get faster replies with something like that in the title than with "the game that might be kinda almost mmo-like'

i did. You assumed and implied. Even if you didn't target me specifically noone's a stupid fuck just because they think differently than you on a subject you both know little about.
To Andro:
That's a load off of my mind.

the only important part is...
This was a rundown from someone that played the demo. I never played WoW (don't like keeping up with payments) so if anyone has, what exactly does that 'Social' button encompass? Are we talking friend's lists, teamspeak options, emotes, or what?

a tornado? either way it all but ensures the druid tornado as we know it is gone and I get to laugh at my druid friends in their time of misery
