Just to clarify things (because i got my beta access today!!! :):):D:D:thumbsup: )
You don't actually get a key to access starcraft, you gotta have a battle.net account and your account gets selected for beta access. So you cant really give your key to someone else, unless you actually give away your whole battle.net account.
Just got entered in and downloading it as I type.
Who cares if it is the same game as SC1? SC1 was perfect and SC2 should be just like it.
Just like Diablo should be.
Vlad, you lucky bastard, send me some video footage of the Zerg :D.
Though, I do agree that there's nothing wrong with it being a refined version of Starcraft. It was basically the perfect RTS, so intensely balanced, and incredibly fun to play.

And while I partly agree Zhar, the beta is a free program and nobody loses money over a crack for it, but just so everybody stops skirting the rules stop talking about playing the cracked beta.
If certain members cannot stay within the bounds of the jurisdiction of the beta and those who choose how it will be played, they will find themselves with very, very long IP bans.
This is not for discussion.
It would be wise to heed this warning.
Discussion of the crack will not be tolerated.
Final mention.
Don't rely on waiting for the beta to arrive via email. I found out that I got into the beta (and started playing) by logging on to my bnet account, and this was 3-4 days before the email notification arrived.
Not by a long shot, there's like 3000 people in the beta so far and there were 20,000 keys given out at Blizzcon. Beta keys will be going out every week (or few weeks), at least that's what's assumed. Keys went out first day, then more people have gotten them each day since.
So, you mean there's still chance to obtain a beta key as long as beta last and you've checked on your B-net profile that you're willing to participate in upcoming SC2 beta?
Does anyone got information how many keys are given out weekly?

Yeah... been playin it all day.
And you are right its SC1 with better graphics. Almost same units except for a couple new ones.
It is a good game, although nothing refreshing.
And zergs are OP... Almost all games i played were over in 10-15 mins because everyone rushes like crazy.
