There are 200 paragon points to be spent on the Core Stats page.
By your chart, if I went Core Stats first, it'd cost me over 300 BILLION XP to get +250 to int, dex, str, and vit. Current pLvl 100 is just over 11 billion as a frame of reference.
Coupled with the fact that Josh told Kongor that they're still "tweaking" the Paragon curve, means that this chart is, for all intents and purposes, complete misinformation.

thanks a lot i just fixed the number and source of the image...
I believe this is not the case that will go.... jsut think about it for a second it would took you like hmmmm FOREVER to collect all points for bonus stats. Considering this picture there is 4 different tabs with 4 different options and each option can take 50 points, multypling that means you will need 800 points to have a maximum, even if 1 point is 2 stats that means you need 400 points and if we take into account that 1 paragon lvl will give you 1 point that is 400 paragon lvls, so i think that there will not be the sistem like is now instead there will be fixed amount XP that you wil need to get one Plvl, for example you will need 50 milion xp for one paragon lvl
AND SIR WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SPEND YOUR POINTS TO DEXTERITY IF YOU ARE A BARB?

dexterity = dodge chance
you don't have to, but when you spend rest of the points and you are left with 50 unspent points and dexterity is the only thig you didn't dump the points in, well you do the rest of the math
you guys are trolling here?:) why would u spend your paragon points to dext as a barb! instead u can spend on all rez on other tabs, u are the last person i am responding about this
AND SIR WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SPEND YOUR POINTS TO DEXTERITY IF YOU ARE A BARB?
Survivability from non-primary stats is pretty low priority, but in the Paragon system the better question is why WOULDN'T you want to take that extra bit of survivability when you've exhausted the other, better, options?
You don't seem to grasp the concept of finite purchases. Paragon levels go on for infinity, but the stuff you can purchase does not go to infinity. Therefore, at some point, buying dex (and int) for your barb is a logical choice. It may not be the best stat for barbs, but given the choice between 5 dex and nothing, I'll take 5 dex every time.
AND SIR WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SPEND YOUR POINTS TO DEXTERITY IF YOU ARE A BARB?
Dodge, or just e-peen-min/maxing for Diabloprogress. And maybe we see some fancy stuff as in D2 where people skill their character completely counter-intuitive, like STR sorceresses...
But anyways, who cares? Just having the option to put your points wherever you want and not automatically allocated is exactly what many people wanted. If you remove options - as stupid as they may seem - you may as well just not implement this paragon 2.0 at all.
I'm thinking we're gonna see some HC chars with 200k+ life.
I'm thinking we have already HC chars with 300k+ life. I hope they introduce lots of caps, otherwise we end up at 1m HP max (if you include all the stats inflation).
Why on earth they didn't implement this kind of system with paragon levels in the first place I have no idea.
Well, think back what paragon was about in the beginning. 1) Paragon was a quick fix for the MF gear switch problem; people should not feel that switching MF gear before an elite kill (or running around in MF gear all the time) is mandatory. 2) Paragon was said as "nothing mandatory", therefore it was meant to be only a small buff, nothing big.
Gearing up with 0 paragon in RoS is becoming very hard if you need to hit certain thresholds while maintaining others, whereas people with high paragon level can outsource some things to paragon (MS, crit, APS, pickup) to focus on main stats (DPS, EHP) on gear and avoid different gear choices (just think about gearing up for CMWW when you can tweak APS and LoH using paragon points).

For my second wizard, I would 100% spend a ton of points on dexterity because that's how I want to build the wizard. Why? Because that's what I want to do, nothing more.
Also dexterity = dodge. At least 500 dex is perfect before diminishing returns in dodge rate kicks in.
1. we haven't even seen the rest of the tabs 2. Haven't seen complete mechanics that will be changed and 3. Haven't seen how the system will work we are left with speculating things and i just pointed out my specualtion which you firmly attacked and stood by it with no constructive debate
@1: Actually, we haven't seen them, but Athene (when playing) read all of them out, here at 12:25. Movement speed, pickup radius, defense (?), health %, resist all, armor, dodge %, attack (?), attack speed, crit chance, crit damage, cooldown reduction, and the four main stats.
BUT: @2+3: You're completely right, it's useless to discuss about the details yet because absolutely everything is subject to change. Everyone who knows Blizzard should realize that nothing will stay 100% the same. They always change something ;-)

you have obviously missed what i wrote in my post considering that i just mind and tell that you didn't even read what i and some other people wrote
''when you spend all the rest of the points on all other stats/tabs and only thing left to spend points is dexterity you will do iteventually''
i feel like you are offended by the post i made and i am really sorry if i ofended you in any way but the mechanic you posted may not be the only and the right way, i feel sorry if you don't think the same, but considering that 1. we haven't even seen the rest of the tabs 2. Haven't seen complete mechanics that will be changed and 3. Haven't seen how the system will work we are left with speculating things and i just pointed out my specualtion which you firmly attacked and stood by it with no constructive debate
and no I am not trolling you are obviously missing some core knowledge of the curent system since you are calling it a troll to the opinion i posted.....
i didnt get offended at all, i have full of smily faces on my post
well thats said, again its yr game you can spend yr points anywhere you like.. 200 points on all 4 stats you are welcome to spend, however there re 3 more tabs including pickup radious, all rez, armor etc... so i do not recommend other poeple even touch off stats on main page

At some point you'll have purchased EVERYTHING ELSE.
It's not a matter of "if" it's a matter of "when."
EVERYONE has told you that they'd purchase dex AFTER they've gotten the more-relevant stats. No one has said they're going to get dex for a barb before crit chance. But at some point you'll have maxed out all the other stats and you'll take the dex for a small survivability bonus.
Why is that so difficult to grasp? It's not even close to a complicated concept.
