I don't care for them myself. There's nothing special about things that everybody else either has or is about to have. Just strikes me as fluff. That being said, if it keeps people interested and others enjoy it, it must be a good thing.

I recoil at the idea of altering a game program for the purpose of leveling the playing field between casual players, chronic players, and cheating players. Life isn't fair, and neither is gaming. Leave it alone....... for those of us who aren't competing with ghosts.
The ONLY thing that should be done about botting is increased enforcement and enhanced detection techniques.

I have several spots open. It's a good time to get in before 2.4.1 launches and I get bombed with requests. We have a very relaxed clan with plenty of people on at any given time to answer questions and join games. Always looking for good people who play any mode; Seasonal, non-seasonal, hardcore etc.
Shoot me an invite in-game or PM me here, post in this thread. I'll get ya in first come first serve.

Every game gets old, every game reaches an end to each individual, in time. If you play too much, the game gets old.
I remember getting burned out numerous times during my many years of playing Diablo 2. I'd quit. I'd take a break. I'd play again and, inevitably, the thoughts of 'what to do now' always came back until I finally hung it up for good.
All there was to do is trade items back and forth, do some MF runs, gain some XP doing Baal runs. Maybe some PvP in between runs. After awhile, the shine wears off and so begins the rigor of realizing that all you're doing is repeating the same actions over and over again just to better prepare yourself to repeat the same actions over and over again.
Have fun, play your own way. Stop chasing cheaters and unemployed slackers. Stop predicating your Diablo 3 experience entirely upon your success on a dubious leaderboard.
4 years and I'm still having fun. I still come home and often sit my ass down, smoke a bowl and play Diablo 3 for a few (several) hours. 4 years now, and I gotta say, the game is more fun for me now than it ever was. I don't play as much as I used to, but when I do play, I have more fun nowadays than back when the game was lousy with underwhelming itemization and lackluster build pliability.

We typically have a spot or two open every day/two days as a few members seem to come and go. Keep sending invites, I always accept them and it becomes first come first serve.
As a reminder; Since I get so many invite requests, I ask that if you send an invite make sure to leave your old clan first. Otherwise, I'll end up denying it eventually.

There was a blue post that this season will have no community event at all.
OK.... so not only are they obscenely incentivizing seasonal play, they're now using it as a reason to pluck a fun community event out because of the existence of seasons?
What happened to Blizzards own term " era"?
I don't like playing ladder/seasons. It seems absolutely pointless to me. I see why some like it, but it repels me outright. I DO NOT want to EVER play season, and dammit.... I'm certainly not alone.
It's been a long time since Blizzard disappointed me with Diablo 3, but this incentivization of seasonal play has just gone way too far. Now we can't freakin' have buffs because of this? The boards are nothing but a representation of who has a job or not and, most importantly, who's willing to cheat.
THAT'S IT. There's your leaderboard. In the face of this comedic failure of integrity, how in the hell can Blizzard continue to push seasonal play as if it's integrity is preservable by avoiding events??

Sounds like a solid 60% of the people I've pub gamed with. There have been times where I could swear another player was a bot until they finally typed something.

Send in-game join requests to <dfans>, it's the best way to get in. Currently about 10 spots, and I want them filled soon.
Feel free to contact me in-game via PM as well........ Especially if you enjoy playing HC non-season. I'll do my best to get everyone in as soon possible.
Feb 4, 2016Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Absolutely. I'll get you in shortly. Thanks for applying.
We still have about 20 spots. I'm only removing people who rarely played and who have not played for an extended amount of time.

Whether or not you like or I "like" cheaters isn't the point. We aren't going to be calling each other names. The thread will be locked if the conversation doesn't shift toward discussing the effects of botting on the players, how individuals (even streamers) exploit the game with 3rd party programs etc etc. But we WILL NOT be calling each other names and hurling insults.
Thank you. Please carry on all of you, but do so within forum rules and cease questioning moderation. If you have a problem with a moderator, feel free to PM myself or any other staff member. But do not air your grievances in open forum.

Knock off the personal shots guys, please. Why does any conversation involving this Gaby individual turn into a fight within only a few posts of his name being mentioned? Any more back and forth insulting is gonna cause some infractions to be handed out. Let's not allow this place to turn into Bnet.

If you're talking about the Bnet profile page, it has been a wreck since RoS came out. It used to update shortly after your last log out. Now it takes a day or more, sometimes still giving glitched readings. They have neglected this fun little convenient feature for all too long now. It seems since the demise of the auction house, they have just let the profile page go for whatever reason.
