I will not consider quitting D3... and I have to agree that there's no way we'll be seeing a new, playable/purchasable MMO from Blizzard next year. More details about one? Probably, but definitely not a release.

i would choose my own religion and worship my own spirit, but if he ever preached to me i wouldn't want to hear it. i'd drop him, a forgotten god, languishing in shame; and then if i hit stormy seas, i'd have myself to blame.
I won't ever have the time again to devote to an MMO, so it's going to be D3 for years to come...until the kid(s) are old enough for sports or whatever the hell they get into that isn't lame.
I think it's hilarious that you think Blizzard will release a game in a year that it has yet to announce.
Seriously, I choked on my coffee.
ok a couple years.
Make it more like 3-4, and I might believe it. Regardless, it really depends on where they go. No one really knows much about Titan, but I hope they're venturing into unknown territory! Like original WC3 stuff, with dinosaur tanks
I doubt it, the MMO bar has been raised pretty darn high by now. And all honors to WoW for beeing the game that pushed the bar as high as it is. But between GW2 and Diablo 3 I expect to have enough games for a long time. And even though WoW was polished to perfection I never really found it to be as fun as more skill based games like WoW, DaOC, WAR and similar. If they ever have the guts to release a Diablo MMO (with same kind of gameplay) I'd definitely love to play that though!
This, it's hard to look into the future, ofcourse. For all we know there'll be some great games released, and Diablo might even end up being overtaken by some company that makes far better games. Who will tell.
But if past trends in games continue the way they did so far, i don't see myself quitting D3 over any MMO, might indeed play it alongside it, it's not like D3 has a subscription fee.
Besides.. any MMO would have to look REALLY good for me to ever consider paying a subscription fee again, i just don't see myself doing it easily anymore unless it's something really good.
I can't really dedicate myself to more than one RP game at a time. I just don't have the time, and I can't justify playing such similar games, as I always consider one game superior to another.

One is never hurt by being given additional choices, only by taking them away. A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
I pretty much gave up on MMO's after playing WoW up to the end of WotLK, engaging in Gladiator level PvP/Arenas and high end raiding...
MMO's are endless time sinks that suck the life out of you. In addition they require you to play with other competent people to succeed - such people can sometimes be hard to find or your schedules conflict.
That's my favorite part about D3 - I can play solo or with friends when they're on and still accomplish the same progression with ease. Additionally, I can walk away from the game at any time to go do X other thing. I don't have to be online for a 5 hour raid, or a full night of arena matches in order to progress. I can play it at my own pace whenever I want.
There is still a chance that HotS might get released this year.
Personal preference, but I hate RTS. I just can't get into them. The only reason I played WC3 was because of the story line, but I tried playing SC and just couldn't get into it.
i will be switching back n forth from D3 to WoW (mop) and then between D3 and the next expansion also. just so neither gets overly boring and stay fresh

Personally I might consider it, but I am starting to hate the mmo genre with WoW and SWTOR.

LOL, I like to promote optimism at all times, but I must say that your statement certainly isn't foundation-less hahaha
That being said, depends on the game, it is going to be a blizzard game, and therefore it will be amazing and hard to pass up playing.
Ok a couple years then.
Though they really don't have anything to work on in 2013 other than that mmo as far as I know.

Fixed, bro.

So no... I probably won't be interested.
