OFC its going to be easy when you play on the 4th easiest difficulty out of 10! when you overgear the the difficulty.
Now i can say that everything is pretty much balanced around torment 1-2 and these difficulty's will be enjoyable and substantially more rewarding.
Now loot sure the have rebalanced it alot, and sure you might not find any DPS improvements while wearing all CC, CDH, AS, gear in every slot. as for legendaries there are over 300 now some are bad and some are better.
as for the part where it will take forever to gear up better that then be done in 10 hours played.
Now the UI is another thing yes IMO it needs alot of work most stuff just seems thrown together, but the core of it all is working fairly well.
Now what irecommendyou to do is to start a new toon and level it 1-60 in strictly masterswithouthelp from your main. you will this way get a good feel of the new loot system, find plenty of legendaryies, and have the best time in the game since vanilla launch. So try it out and do not cheat (give gear from main, gems ect from main.)

Just play PTR for the first time and completed act 3 and it was easy! does anyone else find it easy?
how hard is torment? Real hard? Like head from ROS beta player.
Also the drop rate was low, found some rare, one leg (death mantle, was terrible) and not enough white
crafting will take long time. Kill two goblin, got 3 nap globe, kill about 23 elite, the mobs was very disappointing
The 4 boss were easy. Exp did nor work. Did not really like the new map system. Changes to menu took a little adjusting
Died 3 times was walled in by elite. Why do we have wait when we die? Found no upgrade. bliz talk about game changing leg
but with the new system it will take forever. ran with my p76 DH, play mp8-10 on d3v
love to hear from others
of course it is easy. Master is not the highest difficulty but you are top geared at current level
In terms of Monster health master 60 is between mp 6-7 live. Compare Ghom's HP and it'll fall within that range.
And it is too easy. I use to think it was due to mp10 live gear as well but I started a new monk, lv'd to 60 and used only gear I found or crafted on the ptr and I still breezed through master. My monk only has 90k DPS (but 1.5mil toughness with all 2.0)gear) but keep in mind in Master monsters only have about 1/3 of the hp they have on mp10 live so its a breeze. I should say though that I have a lot of paragon points and used my resources from live I brought over to craft.
So, I gave level 70 masters a test on my DH it was around that "just right" difficulty I didn't have to worry too much about dieing if I played smart (it's early.... i died a few times okay?!!??! :P). Now my gear isn't too great. Running 2pc nats and 5 other legendaries one of whom is lowering my DPS when I took this screenshot to show my stats in reality it's actually 723,372. Stupid hexing pants!
K, so that leaves there to be t1-t6. I'd argue my DH could do T1 with some deaths and it taking a good while on packs (very inefficient) but none further than that with the stats seen above.. Whereas my Crusader can take T1 with no sweat and less DPS (While going quicker mind you!)
Crusader is actually quite balanced believe it or not. It's only so great beccause of one broken ability (Phalanx) if that abilitiy makes it to live as then I will be a bit suprised and it will quickly become the highest used ability unless something gets overbuffed and makes it to live. Most Crusader abilities are in line however if not useless.
As for you playing on the PTR really, theres not much to test other than the new runes on skills. Especially if you can do mp10 easy on live with your overgeared character playing on difficlity 4/10 of course it's not gonna be a challenge! The monster density, I remember seeing a blue post or tweet somewhere about it being a bug that it was changed back to less. I couldn't seem to find it after looking real quick but IIRC a blue did say it was a bug that there were less mobs, so I expect that to be fixed either way (wether it's a bug or not) everyones complaining about it anyways.
There is defenetely going to be more builds released before RoS hits however that I'm sure about. They have plenty of changes to make.
Imho, comparing current difficulties to RoS difficulties is like comparing apples to oranges. There's a reason why Blizzard completely renamed all difficulties (see Lylirra's post).
I'm really puzzled as to why PTR doesn't get at least Torment 1-3 or so. I can see that people with their absolutely OP gear and 3-6% LS are just rushing through all content like crazy. But don't just look at that and make any judgement about how difficulties in RoS will turn out. It's kinda like judging D3V based on playing Nightmare act 3 with a level 55 character.
Also, they're looking into mob density, see the Blue post tracker. It's a test realm, not a "this is the final game which we present to you three months in advance" - realm.
Edit: Just to add on the "Crusader is OP" discussion - there was a highly rated thread on the RoS forums the other day about the Crusader actually being too weak. I was quite surprised because I also had the feeling that the Crusader was somewhat OP, but maybe it's just subjective because I'm mainly interested in a more "tanky" wizard and that playstyle is simply not possible right now because of balancing and bugs (most shield generators don't work the way they're supposed to work, which is why we're doomed to kite, which is why getting to T2+ requires to use "broken" mechanics like freezelock or OP legendaries).
thanks for the reply! seriously, will bliz open torment for non-ROS players? currently i am not impressed with ROS
my DH is not really overpower, yes, i do have good gear, it took long time upgrades to my current level
i seen many other DH with better gear and DPS,my profilehttp://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/jchoi61-1742/hero/9936758
Regarding this comment...I think it's correct, but not why you think. I've been playing PTR for awhile now and the DH is still my least favorite class. DH used to be my main before I rolled a barb and monk, but I don't find it enjoyable anymore because I am always too resource starved. I think that this could be improved by making hatred generators give more resources.
My ideal DH config would be to use hatred generators to gain resource and provide minor cc effects and have hatred spenders actually provide the bulk of the damage. They are on that path with the spenders, but I still feel that generators are lackluster.

PTR doesn't get Torment because they aren't letting anyone level to 70. If they dropped that limitation, then you'd be able to get there.
They could simply say that Torment is only available if you're at max level, as opposed to level 70. Like for gaining paragon.
D2 classic was an actually viable game mode, to some extent even harder than D2:LoD. If D3V doesn't get Torment (and I can't find any information about whether this will happen), there will be no "D3 classic". I really wonder if it's only for PTR or a final decision.

Well... "D3 Classic" is in such a bad state that I really don't see a point in keeping it alive. While I know that there are people who enjoy Diablo 3 in it's current state they are a massive minority. At least I think that the amount of people who want to perma-WotB-Whirlwind until their PC's burn down is extremely small.
Haha, my PC actually shuts down from time to time when playing D3. I suppose, the graphics card gets too hot. But it's pretty old anyway.
But seriously, I like the WW-playstyle, it's somehow iconic to the franchise. Barbs already did that in D2, day in and day out, back in the days of glorious Iceblink. Now it's not as fun as it was in D2 because you can not stop without fear of losing your buffs, but I prefer it to walking around and having a boxing fight every now and then
Torment 70 on a lv 60 felt "do-able" but VERY difficult when I tried it. Certain affixes need an incredible amount of space to kite, and some of the new ones were one shot deaths from pretty far away. They *can" be out-ranged, but not with a fast affix. They'd be able to get close enough for the split second needed to pull off a 1-shot.
No idea on Torment 60, but I'm hoping it's at least MP10+. Torment 70 was hard enough that it really can't even be compared to MP10.
You cant do T1 (70) with a 60 character, lv 70 enemies just hit too hard. You dont have the ehp or toughness for it with 60 gear. I've tried. However T1-4 (60) is doable. Higher, it just takes too long unless you abuse some broken mechanic.

Isn't Master supposed to be like MP 5-6?
Logic would dictate that if you're farming MP 7+ now that you'll find Master relatively easy. News at 6.

Looks like Blizz came to their senses. Torment will now unlock at lv 60.
http://www.diablofans.com/blizz-tracker/topic/51763-enter-on-torment-difficult-being-on-ptr
Torment difficulty for lvl 60 characters. That means Vanilla D3 gets torment and torment only Legendaries.

Torment 1-2 (60) is where MP10 live is.
Ghom's HP:
MP10 live 138m
Master (60) 46M
T1 (60) 93M
T2 (60) 186M
T3 (60) 373M
T4 (60) 747M
T5 (60) 1.49b
T6 (60) 2.99b
As you can see, enemies health pools double with each difficulty increase.
