THAT'S RIGHT! Since the 1.0.3 loot drop secret nerf there has been a several ways of farming which have not been released to preserve the economy and gain advantage of it while it's still secret.
This thread will teach you:
*How to farm a lot of gold in short time
*How to farm the best items in game for your character.
*How to get from 100k to 100 millions!
STEP ONE: Since act 3/4 are no longer a viable way of farming (unless you can pull over 200k dps), there is a new way to farm a lot of gold with NO REPAIR COSTS AT ALL.
THIS IS A SIMPLE METHOD, AND MUST BE MADE INTO A ROUTINE.
A lot of people hasn't noticed the utility of one of the buttons in the game. It is called the "SEARCH" button. Yes, this method consists of clicking the "SEARCH" button every 2-3 seconds.
Since you can't get the good gear anymore, you will have to snipe it. Go into the AH, look for really good items that are quite "secret", that's why you should look at your gear and notice what is really cool but hard to get. Once you spot one of these babies at super low retarded price, go ahead and buy it asap.
How to know its a deal: The time will say either "1d 12h" or "1d 11h". That means no one has spotted it before you and you should buy ASAP before it's gone. Rings, amulets and certain type of gear are huge sellers and people often makes mistakes.
Spam that button like there's no tomorrow and optimize your filters with time.
This is the most efficient way of farming, I've gone from 200k to 2 millions in 1 day. 2 Millions to 6 the next day. 6 to 8 the next (bad luck). 8 to 16 the next and then bought gear for my DH. As you can see, I got around 16 millions in 3 days which is much better than getting one good item in a week.
I've made some gold like this myself. Bought a crit chance, 150 int, atkspeed gloves for 50k, sold it for 2.5mil.
The problem is I've also spent a couple hours looking at the AH for "good deals" and sometimes the items just do not appear. Specially in those later stages of the game (Inferno Act 2+ quality stuff), when people have a clue how the AH works and how much items are worth it.
Also, I've once bought a massive undercut weapon that was worth 800k-1mi for 350k, but couldn't sell it even after a week (had to undercut to 500k, which is only a 100k profit for a ton of time invested). The fact is, if your item has the average "market price" (same as all other items) there's a very high chance you'll need at couple days to sell it, and maybe it even won't sell.
Relying on someone else's mistake to make gold is effective, but kind of boring to me. I'd rather be out there killing stuff, I still have a ton of fun doing it. And it's not everyday you get lucky and find a 1m weapon for 150k
Seriously, people who think they're amazing at the AH (and perhaps even are) shouldn't be playing an hack and slash ARPG, they should fucking go play the stock market.
The game isn't "Wall Street Online" it's Diablo 3.
If Wall Street Online existed and Charlie Sheen was the narrator, I'd play it.
This is not the brightest idea. For whoever lives in North America, you can definitely find a job that makes $6+ per hour and then use this money buy for golds. 1 million golds is like $2 now. Do the math

But working in a real job is boring.. playing D3 isn't (to some at least)

But chances are that if you find playing the AH multiple hours a day not boring, you could bear most office jobs.

Try it. It works.
When did people discover this?
Oh right.. 6 years ago when they were playing WoW.
no reason to be rude, i find it odd he has one post though.
I found the whole post "kinda odd".

Totally odd.

The thing with WoW is you could get the best gear without touching the AH.

Butt is right. what..
Last week I found an amulet... looked up prices - most were posted for 2-5 mil with its stats. One was going for 100k (1 day 12 hours time left).
Bought the 100k amulet, posted it with mine, each for 2.4 mil. Sold both.
