I dunno, the rift dungeons looked pretty cool ^_^ are they really a random dungeon with random tile set? like can you get desert sand tile, or are they all interior tiles?

I have another question, did they ever make crafting useful? Last time I heard crafted items didn't even come close to items you can farm, and taking time to craft things was a waste of time. Is this still true?

Does anyone still play? or have they all moved on to expansion?

I can't afford expansion right now, maybe next month, and was wondering if I would actually be able to find groups if I started playing D3 again.

posted a message on 1.0.5 Seems cool and all...
Actually I kind of disagree with the staying in the game through acts thing,
remember how annoying it was in D2 to join an ''act 1 andy'', or ''act 2 duriel'' game just to join party and see that people were in act 3?

posted a message on Two questions for players who vocally dislike the AH
    My two cents
the main complaint is the drop rates are low, and there is a conspiracy that blizzard doesn't want to increase the droprate because they don't want the AH to flood with useless stuff, and have the value of items go down.
    So what are some solutions?
off the top of my head
1: Put more emphasis on crafting ( but that takes away from your 'oh look what i found'' thrill
2: Oh well, let the AH flood with useless junk and have the value of items go down, and increase droprate

But to play devils advocate, sure its hard to find stuff, and maybe you need to use the AH to stay alive in inferno,
but don't forget inferno is supposed to be hard as hell ( no pun intended)

Diablo 2 you can fight monster naked. D3, you walk out naked and you deal 10 damage.

So dont fight stuff in Diablo 3 naked XD put on some @#$$ing clothes :P

The game is broken because the system is base on dps.

Basically, all race play exactly the same, bluff dps, life and resist.

All end game build and items are the same. Best barb with Ik set. Best monk with inna, dh with nat. Wd/wiz with zuni

and how was diablo 2 different?
if you didnt have damage, life, and resist you were a gonner in D2.

why can't people understand that the AH is simply a very convenient way of trading? in D2, when you got a good item you wouldn't use, you trade it by joining trading games and lost a couple of days tying to trade it, sometimes, less, sometimes more, the AH makes that process for you, but hey, don't wanna use it? go to trade channels, and TRADE. As simple as that.

Because... its not?, this argument is getting extremely old.

You may ask why, and its simple, look:

I played D3 for 200 hours, more or less, I got 4 characters 50+ and a WD who is paragon 8. You know how much costs a 1100-1200 dps with +int weapon in the AH?, 10-30k, you know when was the last time I saw a weapon with those stats dropped in the floor?, never, you know how much time it takes me to get 10-30k in Act 1 inferno?, 20 mins if I'm lazy.

Like you see, there is no comparison between effort -> result. In D2, you needed to trade something useful for something useful, there was no: "ok, Ill farm gold for a day and I will buy a ZOD rune, no problem". Nope, you had to have something of a similar value.

Don't get me wrong, I see the potential of trading, its useful when you don't want to level up other characters or when you just want to trade it for something your current player needs, I get it, and I'm not against that.

    The AH/RMAH.. is completely different.

so basically auction house doesn't ruin the game, and the real fix your suggesting is make it harder to farm gold.

Your first mistake is assuming that "people" applies to everyone. Believe it or not, different people have different wants for a game. Please do not lump them together.
    this

oh, and people complaining about not being able to finish inferno? that was 1 and half months ago issue

No, not people complaining about inferno being too hard, I mean people complaining that inferno was too easy.

Yeah I kind of agree, the idea that there are useless legendaries is mind boggling, it defeats the purpose.
