about to go pick up a 27" LED. by the end of next week ill have enough money to build my new computer! just in time for D3
You're going to love it =) I've got a 27" 1080P LCD w/ LED @ 2ms. Best monitor I've gotten so far =) The LED makes SUCH a difference when you compare back and forth with just say a LCD monitor.
I just bought a 24'' led and my eyes cant stand it... does anyone have any similar problems?
i used to stare at my 17'' crt all day for the past x years without any troubles, and now i feel like my sight is getting worse every day cause of the new monitor
I couldn't stand those new tech monitors called lcd/led as well Led are much better than lcds but good crts are better than them. But if you buy good expensive tv with good blacks and size and all they may be as good as crts (i've bought one with new moth eye stuff which kills reflections and my eyes loves it. Black levels are awesome as well).
42" plasma, but i might have to break out the old 19" desktop monitor if i have the same issues w/ the release that i did with the beta. basically i couldn't get the beta to play in full screen on the plasma, no matter how i tried to configure the tv/video card, so i had to play in windowed mode and stretch it. we'll see if it changes once they optimize and finalize, plenty of other games play fullscreen fine on it.
Well the gfx card itself has a 3d option...my tv doesnt have to be 3d aswell does it? Figured the gfx card would do all the work for that.
Your monitor/TV needs to have 3D capabilties for 3D to work I'm afraid. Even if your GFX card can handle it. 3D needs 120Hz from your screen, and normal monitors and TV's doesn't have that.

What type of display is everyone using for D3?
I'm using my 32" flat screen hd tv. I would also make it 3d with my nvidia but I don't have enough money for the glasses
OT: 24" 120Hz screen from samsung.

Btw 1920x1200 or 16:10 probably the best resolution ever atm.

You can't really play D3 on plasma. Too many static elements. I have plasma as well and I don't recommend breaking it on D3.
