Wednesday workday is over in SK long time ago and I couldn't find any info/posts about the result of their meeting. Anyone have any news about that ? Another rejection ? No meeting or smth else ?
I've been caught up with some work so I don't know the specifics yet but the bottom line is Diablo 3 was not even mentioned.. again.
there's also an interview done with the chairman of the board and I really hope I misunderstood the interview because he mentioned something about the rough times domestic game companies are having and how Diablo 3 could have a negative effect.
'IF' I understood correctly, I honestly hope Blizzard will give his ass a good ride with a WTO national treatment principle.
what kind of age does this moron think we're living in?
The fuck. How long can they take to make that decision?! Geez...it's been 1.5 months already and it usually takes less than a 1/3 of that! I just hope Blizz have some good news in the coming weeks about anything really. And I hope Jay was 100% serious when he said "the GBR isn't holding the game back, you'll see soon enough". It have to be an whole new unheard of system they are implementing in D3 for me to believe what he said...
edit : and yes, I'm based in Korea so it effects me. then again, if the software is in all sense the same as Blizzard claims it to be, I could be better off planning to purchase one from the states
Just assume the game is NOT going to be approved by the GRB, then buy it digitally from Blizzard and log onto the Asian server. The GRB really has nothing to do with anyone except Blizzard's bottom line and maybe the lan centers.
There was a link posted on a thread on incgamers that said they still haven't approved the game. Ughh. I guess we will have some solid news as to the truth of that today maybe.

Yea, I’m with ya. China kinda takes the US to the toolshed in a many areas (IE cars), but support for domestic economics should come from the people... not hidden in bureaucratic red tape.

These meeting are not specifically for Diablo 3. It is probably their biggest thing around but it doesn<t mean every meeting will be about it. May also depends on Blizzard part to change or not their submission.
afkalmighty... You're that famous Vindictus player who plays every character at top skill level? same person? Anyways glad you'll be playing Diablo III i'm a fan of your screenshots!
Korean-speaking guy confirmed its true:
I speak fluent Korean, and yes, it has passed.
The folks in the comment section of that article is going NUTS, understandable.
No RMAH for Korea though, them's the breaks I guess.
I wasnt optimistic about today and was ocupied in something else and suddenly I hear that the ratings wete given. Def awesome news for me but now Im wishing that the GRB really was the reason for delay
@Dokuton

Here’s to them settling it quickly.
This kinda reminds me of the NFL/NBA lockouts.
