So like in the first diablo gold was pretty much useless except for buying many many pots and the occasional repair. so in the new one im pretty sure gold is going to have the same feeling. as a money sink i think it would be amazing to the have the ability to purchase land and build a house on it, if u have enough money make a castle and sometimes if the castle is left dormant for long enough period of time new inhabitants may take over for other to cleanse. and maybe have one super minion randomly make his home into a pc castle. this is good for blizzard as it creates new material without them having to put much time into it. pluss be cool to have a place to stash stuff gather chairs ect.
I love the idea as it gives more things to do in the game. Basically letting users make dungeosna nd gives a great reason to get gold and use the ah
if anyone has played little big planet one of the main reasons why that game is soooo good is because of the player made level community.
Yeah, D3 should be a mini Cityville! We should be able to build houses, restaurants, take a stroll through the neighborhood to visit friends, and then wander off to kill Diablo!

I understand you would like to be able to construct something, as a way to make your account show progress besides gear. But this idea wouldn't fit in a game without a persistant and public world.

If you've played Diablo or Diablo 2 and you read the first post, you should be posting something similar. It's a bad idea for Diablo 3.
You were planning to do what to Diablo???
Diablo moves in next door.
There goes the neighborhood.
