Haunt is, by far, the superior choice. Get the rune that adds a second target and you have a massive group nuke. Get the helm that doubles its damage and the passive that lets it last forever and you win every fight automatically as long the mob stays near on screen (DoTs seem to stop ticking if they go offscreen for too long). Add locust swarm and mobs die even quicker.Posted in: News
Movement is the key to the WD/Wiz survival. Firebats take that away and the damage isn't impressive enough to give it up. -

Splinter and Haunt buffs are huge on my WD. I didn't use haunt before, now i've dumped by escape button for it. -

Blackhole, though, seems to fit the class the most.

This change was in the patch notes a few days ago. It made sense to up the cost; recycling them for a new legendary made no sense.Quote from Droliaz
They have nost listed another change I've noticed: they increased price of new legendary item crafts. For example, Seven Sins shoulders were 1 Brimstone, and now its 2. So i guess all around the board change was made to all recipes.
Guess it's to remove chance to re-craft Legendary by disenchanting old one and always getting 1 brimstone in return and being able to craft it again and again. -

The only time I've lost even a single dog is at Diablo when they all stand in the fire. Other times, there are plenty of globes to keep them alive. And damage they'll output is amazing.
On fights in large groups, you are active; but on a single target - 4 dogs, gargantuan and like 6 fetishes will rip em up. -

I'm amazed at how hard it is to find a good fire build. No fire rune on blizzard. Really? Fire arcane orb is weird.

Which, I'm really starting to hate. I'd much rather things are earned than randomly distributed. That's the superior loot system of a game like WoW. Randomness has its perks, but its downside is steep as well.

There's either a maximum number of targets locust swarm can affect or it's no longer contagious after 7 or 8 seconds.
