(4) Set:
Increases Discipline regeneration by 1380 per minute (Demon Hunter Only)
Considering base discipline regeneration is around 60 per minute, I can't help but think this is a typo. I haven't looked at other classes' sets yet so not sure if there are other game-breaking sets. The applications are pretty ridiculous considering all discipline skills are based around the slow regen as a virtual cooldown. Just off the top of my head:
-Unlimited(almost) Vaults
-Permanent Shadow Power
-Spammable Smoke Screen for permanent invisibility(when not attacking?)
-Insane hatred regeneration through Obsidian Smoke Screen or Crimson Preparation
-Spammable Sentries (is there a limit?)
Seems a little OP >.> but Diablo is known for having extremely powerful items. Maybe it's real?
Since there is a thread about this set i have a question.
2 of the items are a 1 handed crossbow and 1 ring so if i had 2 of each would that count for the 4 piece set bonus?
This would basically mean perpetual discipline skill spam. However it *does* come at a price. Just as I was thinking this was OP (viewing helms alone) I changed the tab to legendary helms to find one with +100% hp among other useful mods. Several of the stats on items of the set were underwhelming in comparison, though (edit) this chest is probably the best piece in the set.
It's an awesome utility, but chances are it's not more overpowered than mixing around ridiculously powerful items together. I guess this is another way blizzard intends to approach the character-resource stylistic play I've been hearing them talk about.

Most likely not. They will probably handle it like they did in D2.
Example in D2: I had 2 x angelic rings and 1 angelic ammy. I only got the set bonus for having 2 items. BUT the ring would get it's special set bonus applied twice.
So there is a positive to having 2 copies of a single set piece on at once, but it's not that good

obviously no, just like in d2 with 2xNatalyas weapon

Nope! The Natalya's Redemption is considered as a particular piece of the set (has it's own particular slot in the set of 5), likewise, the Natalya's Mark has it's own particular slot in the set.
This actually is a good thing so that if you would be able to get your hands on either the Danetta's Fury or Danetta's Rage, you could use it on the off-hand weapon. Likewise, you could use another ring with better attributes on the other slot.

Now, for those who aren't aware. Blizzard's Diablo III Game Director, Jay Wilson, mentioned in his previous interviews that Inferno end-game level would be so difficult that a player must make countless Hell runs before he would be well equipped to tackle what awaits them in Inferno and be able to survive.
This means, that Diablo's denizens will beat the hell out of you if you are stupid enough to venture into Inferno with low-end items. He also mentioned that the enemies will be more aggressive which means that those monsters will immediately pounce on you when you get under their radar or get their attention. If the are way faster & so much stronger than you, you'll definitely get OP.
That's why, if you're lucky in your Hell runs & you get these particular weapons with over 200 dmg/second, then don't complain because this will mean your survival rate in Hell is way much better than it was before.
Blizzard designed these items to be used by level 60 characters only (only level 60 characters that have completed the Hell difficulty level can play Inferno level).
My advice, when you get to level 60 & you still don't have strong weapons to survive in Inferno, just continue to farm in Hell. If you're lucky to get 4 items from the Natalya's set, then you're guaranteed to be able to survive in Inferno & spam your Discipline skills to your heart's content.
Also take note of the "60% Better Chance of Finding Magical Items" which is really an indication that having 4 or more pieces of the Natalya's Wrath set is the best chance to get good results when farming Inferno.
Just a wild guess (haven't really looked into how energy scales with lvl, so I might be way off), but...might the total energy (hatred, discipline, w/e), regen, and costs, all scale with lvl? And we already know items do too, but it is possible that set bonuses don't. So maybe Blizz figures by the time anyone can equip that set, 1350/min will be really good, but not game breaking.
Alternately, they set certain numbers that still need to be balanced to absurdly high values, so if they forget to do correct them, it will show up real fast, whereas a good guess, or a small number, might never actually get noticed/talked about enough to remind them to go back and balance it.
This might actually be accurate. On Force's With Doctor playthrough, he wears a offhand (Wanga Doll) with 480 mana regeneration per minute.
Thats at level 1.
I think Force overstated the benefit he was getting from that doll. Mana regen was very high, but if you look at other witch doctor vids, that just seems to be the case (or just check the first brief run before he reaches his stash). You really only run out if you're spamming Zombie Charger or Corpse Spiders.
For reference, the Witch Doctor has 200 mana at level one, and gains mana each level. So that wanga doll would cause the mana ball to fill up in about 30 seconds. It was obviously going way faster than that, so a fair amount was from base regen.
Discipline, however, is a different story. The cap is 30, and it regens very slowly. So having 23/second is basically having infinite Discipline, which seems like an odd direction. Take Prep runed to restore hatred and now you have infinite hatred and discipline.
It's not like I can't do it my self. But I feel like it would be better idea to display this "per sec"
I agree. I suspect they just don't want to have stats on gear with too many decimals. It'd be nice if it were consistent at least. Wizard's Astral Presence gives a +2 AP /sec, and (Golden) Familiar gives 270/min. It's tough to compare those benefits without doing the math.
Ultimately, though, I think players care about the benefit/second.

Softcore Inferno 4/4 [05/06/12]
Took out the old calculator and figured it out for you.
23 Discipline a second.
This actually is a good thing so that if you would be able to get your hands on either the Danetta's Fury or Danetta's Rage, you could use it on the off-hand weapon. Likewise, you could use another ring with better attributes on the other slot.
1380 Discipline ÷ 60 seconds = 23 Discipline/second
.... 1 minute ......... 1 minute

My PvP build would be different from these 13.

FYI to initial poster: You can attack while smoke screened.
