More Beta Waves
We'll be continuing to invite people into the beta, yes. As far as who, what regions, or how many, that's information we don't release beforehand (mostly because we don't know). (Blue Tracker/Official Forums)
Digital Collector's Edition
Our Collector's Editions are traditionally retail-exclusive, and while we appreciate that there's some desire for digital versions of our CE's, we have no plans to do so for Diablo III.
Best of luck though in getting a hold of a physical one! I think it's the coolest CE we've put together. (Blue Tracker/Official Forums)
Twitter Any reason our characters are doomed to first names, and cannot have last names via spaces or underscores?
You're such a bad ass that you just go by one name. Like Cher. (Source)
YES or NO servers on release date will turn at 3am eastern?
We don't know yet. (Source)
Will you release a wallpaper for 2 million likes on Facebook, pretty please?
Oh man... MAYBE! If you're lucky. (Source)
Hey Bash. How are the loot tables handled in D3? Is it like D2, or do all monsters share the same loot table?
There are types of loot monsters can drop, and then varying chances. It's not a single gigantic item pool, but it's close. (Source)
If we already have the beta client, do we still need to download the retail client?
Yes, they're different. (Source)
Curse Weekly Roundup
For those who like to play other games and see what else our Curse family is up to, we have this week's Curse Weekly Roundup.
Dang, I thought I had a good Twitter response, it may have been an obvious answer, but you'd be surprised on how many people wouldn't know until release day.

Looking forward to that big blue post regarding MF bonuses.
Edit: Forgot to ask, but does Blizzard update the info on their web site when a patch change goes through? For example, they still have Poison Bolts on the Scoundrel's web page although, according to DF, it's been removed.
Since they removed Runestones, decided not to have charms at release and etc. Beside PvP, basically all thats left for you to play for once you have beaten the game on inferno on the char(s) you wanna play with, is getting new pieces of gears and thats pretty much it. They better not change MF and other game mechanics to a point they're worst on my opinion, because that's pretty much all they've done so far. Anyway, I wouldn't mind them changing some things before release to make them better than they're right now because I believe there's room for quite some. They better have a huge huge items base and have items all harder than the others to find and I mean like stuff very very rare, some extremely rare, some stuff you just probably won't even get your hands on after years and etc. Because you farm pieces of gears and nothing else, I doubt you'll ever farm gems after a short amount of time. I've followed the game ever since it was announced and there ain't much new stuff they revealed nor added that I particularly appreciated. The only one I can think of, is the addition of inferno. I really hope that the game will have much to offer for really late game content because that's what I'm looking forward, I don't buy games if I think I'll be quitting them at some point.
I don't think it matters who they get to do the videos. They'll get attacked. Forever alone neckbeards will lash out because they are generally bitter at women for not loving them and deny the existence of decent girls who are interested in games. Ugly girls will attack out of jealousy. Pretty girls will attack because someone "beneath" them is getting attention.
I don't care if followers do loads of damage. If they can at least serve the purpose of distracting monsters then it's fine.
I like this new host, Lindsay. She speaks much more clearly and the way she talks works much better for news broadcasting things. I think this is what people should focus on rather than looks, but of course that's just my opinion
Not wanting to sound dumb or noob but can someone tell me what's the point of having modifications on a beta patch for followers that don't even appear on the beta
Because the beta IS the live game (client wise), the data is still going to be in the clients. They purposely leave out movies and other data, but things like that, theres no reason for them to leave it out.

It looks like we might be seeing the article about champion/elite kills effecting boss kills and magic find soon. This would hopefully cover some of the information such as Nephalem Valor resting on skill switching, along with new information on how this ties to bosses.

Followers may need some more tweaking, but that could be done easily by patch.
Thanks Molster!
