Looking forward to the stream to get a better picture of endgame systems.
I'm also very happy about Rhykker being there.
Let's hope to get some juicy info, they said they still have unannounced endgame activities.

So, interesting days are coming our way. But....no system requirements yet? Anyway, looking forward to beta coverage!
I'm hyped and yet worried.
Too much expactation can lead to a too big disappointment.
Open beta will reveal more.
Very happy to see alchemy has made it in the Diablo world.
Thanks for sharing!
We have exciting things to share this year, and we're grateful to have you with us on this journey.
Looking forward to it.
I appreciate these updates about art concepts, visual effects and the like.
They are quite interesting.
I enjoyed the focus on the sounds in the game and how they are created (I want to play with fire and squish slimy stuff too!)
Also, as pointed out by Lucylra, I look forward to see how they plan to increase accessibility.
Pity I'm jobless right now so I cannot afford it.
I'm looking forward to see how the younger Diablo players who never had a chance to play it will react to D2 since it's quite different from D3 (nor better or worse, that's a matter of personal taste)
Art-wise I'm quite happy about what Blizzard showed us till now.
I hope Q3 update will be as encouraging when it comes down to game mechanics and activities.
We just have to wait and see.
At least they aknowledged the fact that currently characters power is too dependent on items.
I do hope they take a step back (well, at least a couple of steps are needed but let's give them some time...) and give players more options about how the character build is created and developed.
Having skill points to assign to increase the power of a certain skill seems good to me, it may not be like D2 but some of it remind me of the idea of skills and synergies, so not so bad.
I'd like to see a more detailed explanation about it to get a better idea, perhaps we'll have more info in February 2021.
Some things I liked (blockout details and storytelling) some have me worried (itemization and open world).
As a single player an Open world is somewhat meaningless to me but, as long as I can do it all alone that is not a big concern (even if having others messing with my fights uninvited does not feel so good to me.)
I'd just like to have an "anonymous" option which let me appear on others screen as an undescribed character.
An example: if I told my girlfriend "Sorry dear, I'm still stuck at work and I'll be late, don't wait for me" and than later she meet me online...guess what happens? (yes, she'd join just to check because she'll know I'd been lying XD )
Itemisation: that's in early stage but I'm worried about it, mostly about "class specific skill-changing" legendaries.
I do hope they are few and far between otherwise we'll be soon again in "legendary raindropping mode" because to play that build that very item becomes mandatory.
I still think skill-changing effects should be related to a different mechanic, more related to players choice than item drops.
Be it an expansion or D4 I'm happy if Blizzard were to reintroduce necromancers.
It's the class I prefer the most.
Good to know it's coming soon without the "TM"
If the only way to have more characters slots is to buy the deluxe edition I guess I'll have to scratch 2 of the existing ones.
And to be REALLY disappointed...
Maka +1

Hello dear friend!
Question: where did I write there is no endgame in D3?
Are you perhaps referring to this?:
I'm glad you are so entushiastic about D3 endgame and I envy you for having so much fun.
I don't find it very interesting and I'd have preferred more varied endgame activities.
That said, it's also not very polite to ridicule others and judge them without even knowing who you are talking to.
It does not help the discussion nor the community.
Have fun!

D3 combat: good, I enjoyed all the classes
D3 skill system: quite bad
D3 itemization: ...ehrm..let's be kind and say the worst ever (yes, I've been very kind)
D3 endgame: there is no game (campaign is over in mere hours) so there is only endgame...and a not too interesting one at that.
Freedom of choice given to the player: nonexistent...oh, wait...I can change the color of my gloves...meh
I don't want D4 to be an improved copy of D2 or D3, I'd like for it to be better than both.
No, I won't set my hopes too high.

Even in D3 I found many things which reminded me of Skyrym.
Maybe it's one of the games they lok at for inspiration or someone in the team was previously employed in that project.

Well, let us see what they have in store for the future of Diablo.

I'm sure you'll find heaps of players willing to share the fun.
Enjoy!

Same problem here. Had to quit, drop internet connection, re-establish the link and re-launch the game. Things worked better. Maybe just luck.

This game is very sensitive to bandwidth so it may happen that if there is not much UPLOAD bandwidth available the servers cut you off.
Also you may visit the official forums and search for connection issue, there is a good guide about how you must set your network card settings.
Hope it helps.

I've spotted some differences and would like to know what they mean.
D3PrefsPTR has the PlayedCutscene4 voice which I guess refers to ACT V (I'm in PTR, not ROS beta)
D3PrefsPTR has the ShadowDetail, I cannot find any related option in the Video Options, any idea?
D3PrefsPTR lacks all of the following:
TonemapExposure
TonemapContrast
TonemapSaturation
TonemapGain
D3PrefsPTR has the flSafeZoneLeft and I'd like to know this too.
Anybody more knowledgeable can explain, please?
Thanks in advance.

I loved the PvPvE section, some of the ideas there made me want to be part of a team (and you know I'm not a social player...)
"Followers need love too" has a good point as well as the "minions" (gotta love mana cauldron with legs)
Receiving a banner reward for being a "faithful" player seems good too, not something game changing but some bragging rights is a good choice.
And yes, we hoarders would like for stuff to stack more.
Also having a "book" where you can see all the legendaries you found along the way would be really appreciated.
