I mean, I understand that invites are still going out and that 99.9% of them still haven't gone out. And I'm not complaining about not being let in right at this moment, I accept that fact that I may or may not get in, thats completely fine with me..
What I don't get is what the point of this Beta even is anymore? Blizzard clearly stated it wasn't really for bugs, but more for stressing the servers and seeing how they would handle the load.
So the time has come, Beta is now live and what? Is Blizzard really stressing their servers with this 60-100 player base? I really don't get it, What happened to actually wanting to test it?
I would of expected at least for like a 1000 invites to go out a day until they reach a certain point. But they've let in what? maybe like 50 people ontop of the F&F.. I just don't see exactly how this is suppose to test their servers at all?..
What is your guys opinion on this? Do you think we will continue to see a slow, small, steady stream of 10 invites a day, or do you think at some point they will actually decide to STRESS their servers and begin sending out larger batches.
EDIT- Also I understand it's only been a day, so for all we know they might begin sending lots tonight, or not.
Yo... calm down, it's only 1pm western time, they finished their morning coffee an hour ago and left for lunch at 12:30... they're busy and will be back by 3:30 sharp. CHILL OUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT.
I'm not impressed just means your not a true diablo fan! Wasting a key to rush through the content how pathetic.
Yes... so pathetic.
There's only so much you can do man. I've gone through the whole beta 10x already with other characters. When I saw the 24 minute video, I decided to see how fast I could do it from Level 1 (with extra items). This was my first attempt. It's not like I just go around and do this all day.
Lol... what type of response do you expect? OMG GOOD JOB HAIL TO THESIZZLE...... you posted it looking for a cookie and you're getting soap in your mouth instead~ move along.
Yea I'm at wits end watching these streams... I can't STAND IT when cats run around with 10% health and don't use a potion, or better yet let themselves linger around 50% hp for minutes on end... and then die.
I just play Diablo II HCC to maintain #1 on east w/ my team but it's frustrating knowing Diablo III is supposedly coming out soon, and that's all you REALLY want to play... but you cant. It's been a few YEARS of this, and these past couple months have just been irritating.
I'm curious how Blizzard distinguishes who is considered press and who is not, with the millions of subscribers to Battle.net, and no option to customize/label your own account.
I'm wondering if we can use special characters to distinguish clan tags etc like in Diablo II. Like - and _ anyone mind trying please? I don't have access to beta ^^
I quote
"We don't have any plans to extend the beta beyond the Skeleton King fight. Some of the beta content, or items, could change as we make tweaks, but overall the beta is intended mainly to test system compatibility (how the client runs on all the different hardware/software configurations out there) and work out all the kinks of the new hardware running the servers.
It would be foolish to say we'll be able to squash every bug, but we have a QA department that is large enough to test a massive online game like World of Warcraft, and so we feel very confident that we'll be able to test and release an extremely high quality four player co-op game like Diablo III without having to open it up to public testing."
This was just posted today check the recent blue posts. If that doesn't clear things up for people, I don't think you are reading clearly... this game will be out sooner than everyone thinks.
Ok, so this build is more about fury generation than anything, and doesn't really have too much of a fury dump.
If IttF only counts rage gained when your bar isn't full, you could spam Battle Rage as needed so that you are always "gaining" rage.
This build would need to stack crit HEAVILY since it's not getting a lot of crit procs/buffs and relies on crit for fury gen.
Following that will be Armor/Resists/Leech so that you're not soft and scrumply (new word!). Superstition is there because I'm worried about survivability vs magic (since it may be hitting you without you being in leech range). Warcry (Obs) would allow me to get any given level of survivability without actually stating that much, which I'm hoping allows me to wear more crit.
Not sure that I'd be willing to sub out either of the rage passives for Weapons Master (unless you can get Mighty Axes/Maces, then I need to make some tough choices ::firstworldproblems:: ).
edit: another problem with the build is its near absolute reliance on a crit to deal with packs of monsters via OP.
Solid build, yet I would lean towards Invigorate rather than Impunity. I'm sure once you have solid gear your resistances will be tip top... who knows though =)
