Now this build might seem crazy but just take a peak at it. The point is to always be full of fury for Berserker Rage passive to work. It also has insane attack speed and crits all the time.
Yeah I think picking up Invigorate War Cry may be a good move, though it does leave me at a disadvantage AoE wise. Frenzy though should make quick work of most mobs, especially small swarming ones.
When looking at the skill planner for your build I was picturing a barb being swarmed by zombies praying for revenge procs in order to live lol. It could work, I just foresee many unnecessary barbarian tragedies I mean you have no escape mechanism either lol.

Who needs a escape mechanism when you have frenzy + crits galore. Hmm maybe I should change my leap attack around.
Nono, you have a good point It was just a picture in my mind >barbarians sucking in mobs from everywhere from 45 yards and then dying before procs in inferno.
I think if you could get your base crit line high enough this would be one of the fastest aoe farming builds. It's gotta start somewhere, all I was saying was this was an all or nothing type build.
Spending only 20 fury every 30 seconds, you WILL be full of fury. I guess this is the build Berserker Rage is for, but 20% seems a little low - I'd be surprised if the developers allow a build that ignores the resource mechanism to put out as much damage as one that does not.
Yeah but the thing is in order to make a build that ignores the resource mechanic be competitive for damage with other builds you have to make sacrifices to survivability. In pve at least, seeing as how you have to pick up aoe for pve probably.
Pretty sweet build.. but yeah you're gonna be taking so much damage, I doubt you'll have enough survivability in the higher difficulties. As for centering your build around a passive that grants only a 20% damage bonus... I guess I'd have to see the numbers. Still, that's definitely the most furious pure fury build I've seen yet, and it will prolly be a friggin blast to play. There will be a lot of micro'ing the procs, which seems super-fun.
I think what would take this build from fun to brutal is one thing: swap out cleave for ignore pain (65% damage reduction for 5 sec) with an alabaster rune (40% of damage dealt heals the barb while ignore pain is active). You don't lose any of your damage-dealing potency, and with well-timed ignore pains, you insta-heal. Would be unstoppable.

@Dolaiim: Ferocity Rune seems awful on Battle Rage since it has 30 second duration and no cd, you can rebuff it in between packs if you need to. Also im curious if Thrive on Chaos rune actually works if you have full rage since youre technically not gaining rage if youre full
Also Furious Charge seems like a better rage generator than Ground Slam, if youre using GS for its stun I'd prolly switch that rune aswell since the ragegain/min is subpar.
Ok you're right about the Ferocity rune on BR.. I'd much rather have "Into the Fray" (might have even been a misclick), because I need the 7 fury per crit from ItF to help proc Thrive on Chaos.
Now, I definitely disagree about Furious Charge in place of Ground Slam. I can't see how it's a better and more reliable fury generator than GS which, as runed, is a flat 43 rage per stomp plus CC. I need this big spike so I can get my fury quickly maxed out for Thrive on Chaos.
And speaking of Thrive on Chaos.... you raise a good point. If my fury is maxed out (to proc Berserker Rage), we start getting into philosophy as to whether or not you keep counting incoming fury. Obviously, I assume that we would keep counting fury, otherwise I wouldn't have picked Berserker Rage, and/or dedicated as much around fury gen.
Here's what's got me spooked though, now that you mention it.. The tooltip on Thrive on Chaos is worded "Every 9 fury gained while WotB is active...." Now, that's got me worried, because obviously if you're maxed out, you can't technically GAIN any more. I would feel a lot better if it said "Every 9 fury generated while WotB...." Definitely a question for the devs.
Thanks for the feedback though, much appreciated.

My place really was here. I was too foolish and stubborn to notice. But, what I truly hoped for then was here. Why do I always realize it When I've already lost it.

The advantage of Furious charge is that it gets you into the middle of the fray very very quickly - which is always important playing barb - and you're probably also not often going to need an extra 43 rage from ground stomp I don't think
I'm dubious as to whether you're ever really going to get very low on fury in this build - your only regular spender is 20 fury every 30 seconds which you're going to recover completely with a single furious charge so long as you hit an enemy. Wrath of the berserker is certainly a bigger drain but that's only once ever 120 seconds and losing the 20% damage buff temporarily isn't a big deal for a few seconds imo.
In fact - with golden rune in Wrath of the Berseker it's probably WORTH being at lower fury to gain the extra seconds (I don't think it'll proc if you're full tbh), especially consider the extra crit chance is going to help regen your rage quickly too (golden rune in battle rage)
This considered... I'm not even sure it's worth having Unforgiving - might be better taking weapons master and sticking to maces/axes for ANOTHER 5% crit chance
Ok, so this build is more about fury generation than anything, and doesn't really have too much of a fury dump.
If IttF only counts rage gained when your bar isn't full, you could spam Battle Rage as needed so that you are always "gaining" rage.
This build would need to stack crit HEAVILY since it's not getting a lot of crit procs/buffs and relies on crit for fury gen.
Following that will be Armor/Resists/Leech so that you're not soft and scrumply (new word!). Superstition is there because I'm worried about survivability vs magic (since it may be hitting you without you being in leech range). Warcry (Obs) would allow me to get any given level of survivability without actually stating that much, which I'm hoping allows me to wear more crit.
Not sure that I'd be willing to sub out either of the rage passives for Weapons Master (unless you can get Mighty Axes/Maces, then I need to make some tough choices ::firstworldproblems:: ).
edit: another problem with the build is its near absolute reliance on a crit to deal with packs of monsters via OP.
Doesn't really look like you even need fury that badly - only 2 of your moves uses it and one of them has a 2 minute cooldown. Stick to frenzy for attacks and switch out most of the golden runes for higher damage/survivability imo

Highest crit chance with all procs (not including weapon bonuses you're likely to pick up) is a whopping 73%...
