Umm I just looked at the vid again.. I guess it could be a crossbow, makes more sense. True.. But I don't know, I was certain it was a gun.. Like the way the video ends, with the weapon given to her and the close-up on it, seemed to me like it was a "reveal within a reveal" kind of thing. As if that weapon was new to us and the world of sanctuary... or something. It does look alot like a gun tho, amirite?
But bah, you're probably right. Nvm.

For sure it would suck if D3 had some lame-ass songs. But honestly, I think there's nothing to get worried about. Blizzard wouldn't let us down(would they?), they always have epic music in all their games.

Yeah I think you're right. When the runestone is placed in the WD's spider skill it probably alters it so that one giant spider gets summoned instead of a whole bunch of little baby spiders. Just a thought

-Hyralism for best Mechanics. Cuz it looks like you really took the time to think about cool spells your monster would have. The spell ideas are new and original, like the puppeteer thing, which is awesome btw.

I think this is one thing Diablo definitely needed, it'll bring alot more customization to the game. Also to the people that are saying it looks like WoW.. you do know blacksmiths existed in real life right?.. That they aren't really inspiring themselves from WoW but more of the real world lol

Nah it is possible for it to not destroy the lore.. it's even possible for it to greatly increase our knowledge of sanctuary.
I like this idea, would be really fun I admit.
Thing is tho, it would probably have to be an MMO.. I dunno why but if blizz makes a game like this it's gonna be an MMO.. and I'm not sure Diablo would fit as an MMO. For sure I'd play it lol but I think alot wouldn't.

But truth is, I don't think it will.. they'd have to spend hours and hours more to develop new animations for every class to use spells from others .. And also since there won't be any class-specific items (I think that's what they said.. (?)) it would be kinda hard to make all spells work with any class. Some would look just damn right fugly.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for customization but maybe skill-runes will be enough after all. Some spells with the right kind of rune might end up making something similar to an already existing one from an other class anyways.

I don't have much to say since I agree with you on everything.. except the thing on quests like kalim's will, I actually like quests like that alot.. maybe not exactly how it was implemented in D2 but the concept is cool Imo and I hope it makes a return. I think you're right on everything else tho.
