Hey guys. I'm was bored as hell and didn't know what to do so I decided to make a poll about D3's release date! I don't know if it's been done before, I hope not.

Personally, I think D3 will be out by the end of this year. So Q4, around November/December.

What do you guys think?

I've played Nox before(great game btw) but nope, I haven't tried the Capture the Flag mode. Seems like an awesome idea for D3 though, I would love having different mods to play such as this. Arena is cool but might get old after a while.

Lol I've had a WoW dream once too.. about a year ago. In the dream I was playing with my bro and his friend, we were killing this weird boss in a dungeon that was like this giant tree or plant-monster.. he could grow roots underneath the ground and grab your feet to immobilize you. Was pretty fucked up and didn't really make any sense.. I don't even think theres a boss like that in the game.. XD

I agree. Wirt's Leg and the Soj definitely need to return somehow. Those items were just too awesome to be forgotten.

Sets! Yeah hope they don't forgot to bring back a few of those too. Like you said, Tals would be cool for the wizard, maybe Trang Oul's for the WD(:D) or even a revamped Immortal King set for the Barb.. would be epic as hell!

Hey guys, just wanted to share what I've been hoping D3 will have. Almost like a Christmas present, I've been hoping and wishing D3 will be filled with this. Its small and simple but important nonetheless... I'm talking about Cameos.
As in, previously seen characters, items and areas that return again.

Like in D2 when you go back to Tristram.. only to see the city you once saved, burned and pillaged. Meeting an old friend again, a dead Griswold, that you gotta beat the shit out of!. Then finding Wirt's leg, which at first you don't know why the hell you'd keep, discovering later on that its needed to create a portal to a secret cow level!

Now aside from the cow level part everything makes sense. It helps the player immerse himself into the game by making a story with a past, making the present all the more interesting. Thats why I love that part of D2, the way they bring stuff back from D1, is just awesome imo. This is what I am hoping D3 will have, a bunch of moments that make you think and remember stuff in previous Diablo games.

Personally what I'd like to see are the classes from D2 make a return as NPCs or something. Going back to Lut Golein or Kurast. The return of the chat-gem and having it be useful for something! Having items like the Hellforge Hammer or the Horadric Staff as a unique(and powerful) items would also be wicked.

So guys tell me, what stuff from D1 & D2 would you like to see return ?

Aww shit. I was so excited at first.. I thought it was a real DungeonKeeper sequel. Why make it an MMO ?? fuck. So lame. I have nothing against MMOs but DungeonKeeper had its own style, which was fucking awesome. Now its gonna be like all the rest. Disappointing.

I think I remember that quote, but I read it more to the effect that it'll be one continuous stream during one playthrough. Like you wont see Fallen and then Carvers later on. But once you get to Nightmare you'll probably go through the same monsters again. Just more champion packs and stuff. I don't think the entire thing changes from difficulty to difficulty. You'll still see Fallen in Nightmare, although it did say that there are at least 2 other types of Fallen.

I do remember something like this being said a while back. But I think they said that basically there would be monsters in Hell difficulty that you won't encounter in normal, for example, but you would still see monsters from previous difficulties only stronger. Although like I said, its been awhile so I'm not 100% sure my memory is correct.
