I am ok with a wizard not wielding a maul. My only concern is that weapons will loose there importance to skill runes. IMO weapons were the most important piece of gear to get and armor was more as bonuses. When I got better boots I was like "yeah" but when I got a new weapon i was like "YEAH!!!". I feel with the direction they are going weapons will not be as important as skill runes. Not that skill runes aren't the best new system they are adding. I just feel in a dos game weapons still need to hold significance.

Well, I have never won anything but I am hoping to change my luck with this contest. Vote for scyberdragon (shamless promoting). But I assume everyone who entered wants to win.

All you negative people are killing me. I'm hoping for a new act 6 new quests and 2 new character classes.

For any of you that honestly think that there is even a chance that this is real, go to diablo3.com and select "character classes" from the main page and you will see that he has not been added to that page. SERIOUSLY though this class is awesome.

I really think if they want something new IP or not they would have to go for a FPS. I think it would be cool if it was a starcraft spin off but a whole new concept would be awesome.

In my opinion there really is no reason to upgrade weapons other than end game items. Any other item you could simply replace rather then "upgrade" your current one. To implement an entire system for end game seems a little redundant to me. I would prefer more items all together. More uniques, magic, and or set items. Customization can come from what type of unique you use (a unique that adds strength and knock back or a different unique that adds + to skill). Lets face it, everybody used the same rune words anyway so it really didn't customize anything.

Am I the only one concerned about the prize. A Starcraft beta key!? This makes me think that if only one game is being released this year, it will unfortunately be SC and not D3.
