I have to agree with brocko here. Its not about it being plausible or not, it is about making it fit within the world of Sanctuary, i think it "could" be possible to make them fit, but i also think its very easy to screw it up and end up with dumb manga guns or whatever. So its maybe better to stay clear away from them, less you screw up immersion.
I would agree. But guns simply don't fit in Sanctuary. They fit in Azeroth, but not Sanctuary.

I noticed that the shoulder pads look far too big on the barb when you see him without his helm when he's talking to Cain, it doesn't look too big with his helm on, during the action parts.

And the witch doctors shoulder pads are perfect.

Your video cards settings already have gamma, contrast and hue sliders.

And D2 and WoW have gamma and contrast sliders built-in.

If you also look closely at the picture (And no I didn't read all 70 pages either) You'll notice that there seems to be fire shooting out of his back (Supporting the corruption or punshiment of tyrael theory). The other picture series with him rising up and the scene constantly getting brighter doesn't look like any form of corruption however. It leads me to believe the he is either turning mortal, He's channeling some kind of great power, or perhaps even being destroyed by the will of the high heavens.

In this first shot Tyrael looks like he got hit by a fireball. He's not becoming corrupted.

As for the second shot, we have no idea who that is, but its certainly not Tyrael, that's not his armor. As most people say, its likely Imperius.

to accoutn settings to change anything not the game if they somehow get your password and steal ur shet... well your sol.. and in Daiblo 2 if some 1 jacks your stuff there not like the gms of WoW there like oh well... tough shit dude now move along.
If they change your password, they still won't be able to log into the game since they don't have the authenticator code. And you can get your password recovered via email. And they won't be able to change the email on the account unless they physically phone Blizzard with the answer to your secret question.

posted a message on Wilson comments on photoshopped pics
Thank you Jay Wilson!!! This comment sums up EXACTLY what I've thought about D2 and D3.

Wilson: I think one of the things that these lack is if you stuck every one of these re-done shots right next to each other you would not be able to tell that they’re in different areas. One of the things that’s key to “Diablo II” — and I’ve gone through and done timing on it — it changes environments every 15 minutes, and every 45 minutes they give you an environment that looks completely different than one you’ve ever seen before. And when they change environments, the contrast is huge. It’s like I’m in green lush fields, and now I’m in the darkest dungeon you’ve ever seen. I’m in a bright sandy desert, and now I’m in a completely dim mummy tomb. There are these vast shifts in look, and it’s one of the things that keeps people interested in playing the game.
It’s a very simple game, and [you need to ] constantly vary what you throw at the player — big look changes in the environment, creature changes with different behavior. And not just behavior; we spent a lot of time trying to make creatures show up and die more interestingly. Because those are all the things that keep you going. Each one of those things is a reward. When you pull all the color out of the environment and you make it too homogeneous across the game, essentially what you’re doing is you’re pulling away the player’s reward of feeling like they’ve progressed because the area they’re in now looks like the area they were in 30 to 45 minutes ago.
So that’s one of the reasons why we really felt we had to do this. We had to move to an art style that had a lot more variety in it and was capable of a lot more.
I've never seen it put better before.

Now please shut up about the art.

yea but the number doesnt change... from what that article said it changes every 10 minutes and some how this key chain know's it? besides you cant brute force battle.net because after so many failed attempts your cd key is banned from trying to log in for awhile and unless you have over 1000+ cd keys that swap out after each one is banned and some how manage to brute force the server and get the password to the account if the user wasnt to retarded he would of set it to his email... and bam gain back his account....
The number on the WoW authenticator does change, and you need to enter a new code with the password every time you login.

    http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=24660

How does the Blizzard Authenticator work?
You must first associate the Blizzard Authenticator to the World of Warcraft account you play. Once the account has been linked, the Authenticator token will be required to log in to Account Management or to the game; when logging in, you will be prompted to supply a digital code generated by the Authenticator.

How it does this without connecting to the server is debatable however. I think when it authenticator is produced, it's equipped with a large number of randomly ordered codes, and when you associate an account with a particular authenticator the server will know which codes will appear next so it can check that what you enter is valid. Or perhaps the authenticator has a randomly selected algorithm for producing codes, which the server knows when you attach the authenticator to an account.

The keychain idea sound like the WoW Password Authenticator which is being sold on the Blizzard Shop.

I doubt it will be required, like in WoW its an additional protective measure for those who want to buy it.

In other words, progressively more green and blue will be seen. At least they're adding bodies and "horrific" skeletons.

I love it when people say "you've only seen 1% of the game" ... guess what, the art direction does not change from level to level.

I also love it when people say "turn down the brightness" ... guess what, the style of the game can't be changed with a gamma/brightness slider. Ie the childish/cartoony color effects of skills, movement of characters, etc.

Gotta love when people say wait for the game to come out.. great idea, why didn't I think of this?

Basically what they are saying is "If you find anything you don't like in the game, be quiet, don't express your opinions, and go away."

Nice way to suppress people's opinions.
Because, every zone from Act 1 to Act 5 has the same art and color scheme. OH WAI-

D3 will have a large variety of environments, colors, themes, and lighting, just like D2. Which is obvious even before Wilson talked about it in the article.

posted a message on Jay Wilson talks D3 Design w/ Kotaku
Having some blue/green lighted dungeons are fine. But every dungeon being blue/green lighted is not. Similarly, some dark lighted dungeons are fine, but all dungeons being dark lighted is not.

If you people actually played D2 you would recall that there were a large VARIETY of colors and themes.

The point that Wilson was making was that variety is good. That's what they are aiming for. To have a game that looks completely washed out and monotonous everywhere is not interesting, and certainly not what D2 was about.

The colors are fine. D2 had a lot of colors. What's important is not the colors, but rather the variety of different environments/colors/themes.

Inarius needs to be the final boss of D3 or its expansion.

Tyrael will never be a boss. Tyrael is not corrupted, please give up on the corrupted Tyrael theories.
