    P2P +1

Battle.net would have to be completely hack free to justify a monthly fee in Diablo, I expect nothing less.

Can't be done, D1 had that atmosphere/claustrophobic vibe mostly because there was no ''run'' button, so, literally, there was no safe escape route. Alas, D3 is a whole different game and being developed by a whole different team.

I'm the only one who thinks blizzard is overestimating D3 difficulty? Seriously, its just a matter of time until the uber builds are figured it out and which runes go where and bam, its D2 all over again.

Different kind of games, but yes, its always a smart move to avoid close releases to other major titles out there(skyrim, MW3, SW, just to name a few).

It wont be huge, but it will definitly have an impact on D3 sales, keep in mind that people who are not familiar to D3(which blizzard is aiming for ) will probably favor other titles if they have limited options.

Never heard of those commands, i take it they only worked for custom. Anywho, SC2 is a whole different game, its an esport, and since development it was designed as such. So, when the beta was out, blizzard wanted people to test the multiplayer and the new battle.net features.

Thats not the case in D3, its a casual and pvm oriented game, if anything, i believe the beta will have a similar format to LoD beta, probably with a full act I so they can test if the adventure system is working properly.

It is battle.net and it supports events.

My best guess is that we will have commands to spawn monsters and dungeons.

That way we won't see any act progression, boss, or spoilers.

Like the sc2 beta used to have cheat codes.

The point of beta is to test the act progression, bosses, dialogues(wrong texts), random encounters, item drops, if you don't want to get spoiled than stay away from beta, simple as that.

And pretty much every RTS i know have cheat codes for the single player, i know for a fact that all of blizzard games have then, i have no idea on how that relates to diablo3 having commands to spawn monsters.

I will probably be messing around with all the skills/runes, those are the most important part of the game, and the ones that need balancing asap.

    - Any death is incapacitation
    - Winning team retains all members as survivors regardless of deaths in rounds
    - Losing team suffers perma death for all members

Except when winning team gives thumbs up to remaining survivors roman style thumbs up dont kill the enemy because you respect him because he was actually good ,and the two noobs who died and caused him to fail suffer perma death
via thumb up button like i suggested earlier, for humble/honorable/ merciful HC duelers ^_^

    What happens to the loot?

posted a message on What do you think about Cooldowns in PvE
    Quote from mlsk8er

Hey guys im just wondering what do you guys think about Skills with Cooldowns in PvE.

In my opinion CDs just dont fit in the Diablo play stile, also i think that 2 min CD is way too long for Diablo Skills, i cant see myself waiting 2 min for a VERY COOL skill to recharge, cool skills should be able to be cast often and i just keep forgetting to use spells with more than 30 sec CD, so what is teh point of having CD.
I just think if they want to fix a skill usage, like to fix the Teleport skill from Diablo 2, they should just increase the amount of resource spent to be able to use certain skill.

    Well.....

Maybe im too damn sick of WoW and all those ^%$^%$ CDs.

D2, at first, didn't had cooldowns either, imagine 8 sorcs with fast cast gear spamming infinite forbs.

The game NEEDS cooldowns, period, but i agree on the 2 minute thing, thats bs.
