Sep 22, 2010ErU posted a message on Level 60 capPosted in: NewsQuote from italofoca
For me this is awesome news. A level 60 cap means they can add extra levels in expansions, wich is a feature that i particulary love in wow and any other rpg.
Very sweet news.
Meaning that they didn't reduced to 60 because they were having problems with it, they want to make more money by releasing lame ass downloadable (must-buy) content to raise the cap and rip people off.
I have this strange, strange feeling that D3 is not going to live up to diablo's name(in other words, FAIL). And this is the kind of news that just enforces that.. -

What are Blizzard plans regarding the current battle.net channel?
Why?
As all of you know, Diablo is a fast-paced, click and go carnificine, but, besides that, it also has a very deep economy and trade system, and this trade system is based entirely in the Battle.net channels. Looking for a iK armor? Go to Trade-useast, Found an eaglehorn and not going to keep it, you now where to go.
The trading channel is a reference when it comes down to trading, but it has one major problem.. it's hella confusing, 40 people with all kind of diferent and huge names doing they're propaganda, and when that dual leech/pris ring you was looking for catches your eye you waste 9385393 minutes trying to look for the guy, or, you try to msg him... but /pm l33Tz_arrrVzszs02324 can take too long.... long enough for him to quit battle.net, to trade with someone else, to whatever.
If i had a soj for each deal i missed because when i finally got to msg the guy his response was ''sry, just sold it''... oh well, you've got the idea.
The battle.net channel needs a re-vamp, it needs to be fast, easy to use, and user friendly. So, Blizzard, what are the current plans? - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

On the official forums, that's a whole different story, non-constructive hardcore trashing is what made Blizzard know they had a big problem.

Then they hot fixed goblins because they were too good.
Then they hot fixed vase drops because they were too good.
Then it was time for ponys to see the mighty hammer, because they were too good.
Last but not least, Siege Breaker got hot-visited by Blizzard, because he was too good.
Blizzard clearly can implement/change number of drops anytime they please, then someone please answer me this, why the hell do we need to wait till 1.0.3 for drop changes in inferno?

If you honestly think that the damage monsters did in a full party inferno game is balanced/difficult you are stupid.
There comes a point where no amount of skill will let you conquer ''difficult'', and that's the sign of a poor piss rushed design, D3 breaking point was when they doubled it.
Dying too much? Here's a enrage timer.

And as its standard for blizzard, they nerfed underbridge and SB, after all we are not supposed to farm for gear in a farming game, we need to use their brand new RMAH and farm with a credit card.
And we can't play the game the way we want, we are supposed to farm entire acts, because, in Noob Wilson words, the ''story is so great, and has so much replaybility, players are supposed to experience it all the time''.
Makes me sick, every time..

Let me guess.... you're an WoW player, never played a Diablo game besides D3, and got mad from what i said, right?

I said act 1 as an example, did you seriously thought i confused the acts?
easy accessible chest = poor odds, chests you find after bosses = higher odds, is it really that hard to understand?
it doesn't matter if they are getting 2 rares a run if everything is crap (btw, their drops so far are more like 1 rare every 10 runs, which is WAY worse than any D2 run). It's like farming pindleskin in D2, you would always get something out of him, 95% of time it would be junk.

Considering the amount of gems/pages needed for upgrades, i don't think it's that OP, at all.
I'm watching method stream, i can't really see if the rares droping are gamebreaking.... ofc, the chest might need a tweak, but it's hardly an exploit, as most people *cough* wow players *cough* think it is.

Basically you're saying that farming a act 1 chest is the same as farming one in the room before you face Diablo.
This not only make any sense, its not how it worked throught out the series, different chests drop different items.
0
And different packs of rare/champions drop different qualities of items. It's probably the same for resplendents chest.

I'm pretty sure i said ELITE (aka: godly) legendaries on my post.
0
Unless we are 100% sure of the math behind these chests we can't say it's not working as intended, i don't think all resplendent chests are the same.
These farmable chests probably can't drop elite legendaries, have a limit on the modifiers of rares, etc.

That said, the game does has some issues, mostly story related (weak dialogues, cheesy story, lame ingame cutscenes, and etc, etc) but, Diablo is not about story, it's about loot and duels and bragging.
The gameplay is vastly improved (even if blizzard implemented holy trinity on the mechanics), the skill system is solid, and it's challenging. I literally smiled when our party got wiped and monsters camped the stairs, classic Diablo.
