Sep 22, 2010ErU posted a message on Level 60 capPosted in: NewsQuote from italofoca
For me this is awesome news. A level 60 cap means they can add extra levels in expansions, wich is a feature that i particulary love in wow and any other rpg.
Very sweet news.
Meaning that they didn't reduced to 60 because they were having problems with it, they want to make more money by releasing lame ass downloadable (must-buy) content to raise the cap and rip people off.
I have this strange, strange feeling that D3 is not going to live up to diablo's name(in other words, FAIL). And this is the kind of news that just enforces that.. -

What are Blizzard plans regarding the current battle.net channel?
Why?
As all of you know, Diablo is a fast-paced, click and go carnificine, but, besides that, it also has a very deep economy and trade system, and this trade system is based entirely in the Battle.net channels. Looking for a iK armor? Go to Trade-useast, Found an eaglehorn and not going to keep it, you now where to go.
The trading channel is a reference when it comes down to trading, but it has one major problem.. it's hella confusing, 40 people with all kind of diferent and huge names doing they're propaganda, and when that dual leech/pris ring you was looking for catches your eye you waste 9385393 minutes trying to look for the guy, or, you try to msg him... but /pm l33Tz_arrrVzszs02324 can take too long.... long enough for him to quit battle.net, to trade with someone else, to whatever.
If i had a soj for each deal i missed because when i finally got to msg the guy his response was ''sry, just sold it''... oh well, you've got the idea.
The battle.net channel needs a re-vamp, it needs to be fast, easy to use, and user friendly. So, Blizzard, what are the current plans? - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

SC Ghost was not an expansion, it was a third person shooter for consoles.

I'm expecting a decent game, not terrible, but not great either.

That skill ''clairvoyance'' looks really lame imo, the spell creates a path directly to your objective, so you never get lost.
Other than that, the game looks amazing.

Explosive bast + teleport + blizzard = GG.
But that's is just what the arenas are right now, it's a game of who gets the orbs first. If they remove party heal then the team that finds it will have slight advantage, not a gamebreaking one. And with different spawns locations people will need to work as a team(if you separate from the others to try to scout different locations you will get ganked by the other team)

I'm pretty sure the wizard skill is the fastest of all the movement skills, after all, it's a teleport, that means the moments the globe spawns, he has it.
1. When i said random i meant it to have 3-4 possible spawns locations, actually, blizzard is probably working on this one, having just one at the center of the map is so bad i'm not even going to start talking about it. You see, i'm hoping there will be a whole bunch of arenas, not just the one we saw at blizzcon.
2. A complete team heal in just 2 seconds is imbalanced, that's all there is to it. I'd rather deal with a noob teammate with full health, than 4 enemiess with 100% hp after i just nuked the crap out of then.

Being able to see the gear, can be interesting for pvp if there's some sort of league/tournament implemented.

As of now, dueling is all about being able to camp the globes spawning area, and having a spell ready ''cough'' wizard's teleport ''cough'' for a insta party 100% heal, thats ridiculous, This is not a freaking call of duty domination map.
How to improve it:
1) Make the globes spawn in different areas, not always at the same place.
2) Remove party heal, its ok for pve, its bullshit on pvp.

I could try to explain it, but you have to play it to understand, the thrill, the risk of dying, killing the enemy and taking the gear for yourself... just awesome.
Winged: I disagree, when playing HC people eventually will give pvp a try, but if there is a softcore option they will stick to it.
0
My point exactly.
All thats left is arenas, this is the most thrill we will get in HC, and believe me, there will not be a lot of people dueling in HC, and you guys want to reduce it even more by allowing people to do softcore duels?
No, just no.
0
Blizzard could fix it, making it more difficult for the pker, but instead they removed it.
0
Honestly, betting in npc duels would be lame, i wouldn't even waste my time.
Now pvp, thats a different story... no idea on how to implement it thought, having a list on all pvp games going and choosing which one to obs? Being able to check the teams gear and level and such?

They removed PK's from the game (please, let's not start a discussion about it, but theres no denying that HC is much, much ''safer'' now)
0
They already pampered it so little kiddies can play pvm. Now you want to take pvp?
