I checked on Hulu and they also have his show on there. Might have to wait a few days before it is available though.

I wonder if they'll do something like have bosses fight differently depending on characters/builds. Like king leoric might laugh off poison damage. You can't poison a skeleton! A frost boss might be able to absorb ice attacks when he breathes in the frigid air around him. Or a boss with a magical shield can imbue his shield with the elements to reflect them. I'm just thinking of bosses having states that it picks just based on what skills the player is using, and make the battles more interestin

I get what you're saying; I think that's a good idea. Would make players have to use different skills to beat the bosses, making us have to adapt and think on our feet.

Even better, I think bosses should be different for each difficulty. The harder the difficulty the more complex the boss....if that's even possible for them to do.

As far as bosses go my guess would be
    Act1 Mistress of Pain
    Act2 Belial
    Act3 Azmodan
    Act4 Big D

I could also see the others you mentioned as minor bosses or even special hidden bosses (which I personally think would be awesome).

I imagine Imperius is going to appear in the story line since Tyrael is going to be a main focus of the story. I don't think we will fight him though, my guess is he will be saved for the expansion. From the books he is just too damn powerful to be randomly thrown in with D on top of it; I don't think it would do justice. He needs his own game and own storyline.

posted a message on Speculation: Will We Fight Angels in Diablo III?
I really hope we do at least get a glimpse of heaven. I think the one factor people might forget, if you read any of the novels, is that some of the angels in the council were for saving us. So, my thinking is that there will be factions of heaven, like Tyrael and the angels who want to save sanctuary and Inarius and the angels who want to destroy sanctuary.

im looking at the 4 announced ones and out of those 4, I would only choose sorc and barb. I think they should have come out with 8 right away then add 3 or 4 more in an expansion, cmon dude!!

And those are the two we also have the most complete skill trees for. We have remotely no idea what other skills the monk or witch doctor is going to have. On top of that the fifth class has not even been announced.

Plus they have already hinted multiple times that we will get an expansion and more than likely have returning classes, like the necro.

posted a message on So I just started playing Diablo for the first time...
I still have to finish playing my sorcerer. I got close to beating it with a warrior, but still have not beaten the game, lol. Lost all my saves though after installing Windows 7. Guess I'm not a true fan if I'm not done with it yet.

Yeah, it's old, but it's a hell of a lot of fun to see where the game came from and just have different NPCs and atmosphere and all that. It's so different from D2, it's almost like it's own game (which I'm sure D3 will also be).

I know the feeling. I just started playing WoW about six months ago. I don't make a habit mentioning on these forums for fear of being stoned to death :P I was one of those people too that swore I would never play it, thought people that did were losers and just all in all hated it.

I bought WC3 and it came with a trial disk and also some friends started playing it. I thought, what the hell if 10 million people play it it has to be good. Now here I am a level 65 human warlock, starting Burning Crusade and going to buy Wrath of the Lich King. I can't believe how much people hate it on here, it's honestly one of the best games I've ever played.

Anyways Nektu, if you listen to the advice of all of these guys that's pretty much all you have to do; quests and level. If you are considering getting the full version, I would also recommend saving materials to sell at the auction house since that will help build up a nice gold base for you.

I would also recommend the official site http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/index.xml if you are wondering what types of builds you want or just general info. You can respec too, so no worries. WoW Wiki is also really good for if you get stuck on quests http://www.wowwiki.com/Portal:Main and WoW head is basically a database of items and where to get them http://www.wowhead.com/

Honestly, you don't need to give away your life either to play. I play maybe two three times a week, sometimes only for a few hours. I play with friends here and there, but mostly play on my own. I've thought about joining a guild but I'm unsure. My warlock is Dsquared, by the way. Thinking of doing a hunter next.

    Quote from "Gaschk13" »
I can see where you get this idea from but your ignoring the fact that the Wizard might get a little in over his head when using spells that he or she cant handle. I see the wizard as an arrogant type of character, hence believe that the instability resource system will allow you to mash spells until becoming unstable and then having to do something else to bring your character back to stability.

Yeah, that would also make sense too

It might be that he has to do some quick chants or prayers and that would act like the fury globe does.
This is the closest to what I think it will be. I was thinking something like Chi where you have to maybe take a few seconds to charge up, but then again that might take away from the fast paced action. I'm still sticking with my idea of the Wizard corrupting things around them (reality, time, whatever) in order to use their magic. Remember, a big part of making different resources is to make the classes unique as far as how they are played; therefore giving us more incentive to play all classes and also more variety.

I was thinking more along the lines of what the Wizard is destabilizing, not what is causing the Wizard to become unstable. From the quote I cited, I was imagining the resource coming from the Wizard corrupting the reality around themselves.

My view coincides with Ivaron the most so far. I think the Wizard resource may be to actually become unstable. I come to this conclusion by

It is those magics that this wizard seems determined to explore ? magics centered on manipulating the primal forces from which reality is constructed.
Therefore by the Wizard altering reality and corrupting; power builds more and more. This makes the most logical sense to me.
