I had no idea it was latin and even less that it was "per se". I don't remember ever seeing it that way. I use it the same way I'd use any English words, it just comes naturally.
But thanks for the lesson, I guess I learned something, but even then I might just use "per say" instinctively.
Yup, this is some excellent stuff. Although I do hope they change the graphics for the inventory screen though. I'm a graphic designer by trade and that bugs the hell out of me. Very unbalanced left/right wise.

And nobody at Blizzard work with graphic design? Weird, I wonder who's been making all their design choices and the actual art/graphics.. You're entitled to your opinion, but stating your "trade" means nothing when you can't tell what everything's for (it's not even final). I worked with graphic design myself and it looks ace to me!

So no matter what Blizzard's graphic designers are the best and noone else with a trade in Graphic design can critic their work...good stuff. By the way.. no reason to point out that you have graphic design experience or that you think it is ace right? I mean dang...a customer wishing the product they are gonna buy turns out like they want...what blasphemy.
I'm kind of concerned about the 7 skills, well not a concern but a question. they say you can only use seven skills? does that mean once you choose 7 kills that's it? or can i interchange them as i please? that would be really tough otherwise because you would have to wait for a long time with only a few skills, to get through levels so you can unlock the higher level skills.
I'm hoping that they have a guildwars type system where you can only have 7 skills out on the field but once you go back to town you can switch them as you please

Uh, no, its 7 skills and thats it. You can theoretically respec, maybe just change one skill at a time, but it'll have a price.
D2 was much, much worse than that. When did you use more than 7 skills? Heck, most of the time, all I did was take one skill and spam it forever. Thats a lot less than 7.

true i did same thing but, its a new game i want to try ALL the skills would be annoying to keep remaking or respecing.
Just noticed something here: In the talisman picture with the monk, he has plate armor on according to the icons. If thats an actual armor for the Monk, he could wear plate armor.

All characters can wear all armor, it's weapons that are class restricted.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
I know that, but I'm just saying that the icons look how the actual armor looks on the character. Like I know he'd have plate armor, but I thought it would be more like with the wizard where its mostly robe but then plate legs and arms. But that icon looks like just a kinda beefy plate chest, which doesn't go with the orange robe look we've seen up until now.

Yeah, I thought he would be light on the armor, but I guess it makes sense that it would look like that. We can't have only 1 heavily armored hero. I thought maybe the wizard would be the other one to have the heavy gear, but now that you pointed that out, I'm thinking maybe it's the monk.

EDIT: Well, where is Butch's post now <-<
